I still can't believe that I kissed Nicolas Flynn. Oh my gosh, I never thought this day would come. When he kissed me earlier, he didn't say anything yet about the fact that I made him crazy. I was really thankful that my mom was there to get me from school. Or else, I would be embarrassed to death.
I can't even imagine how cute he is.
When I texted Bella that I finally kissed him, she replied in a matter of seconds, saying she was on her way to my house. I love her so much! Five minutes later, she arrived and looked like she had run a marathon.
"Okay, spill it now! I wanted to know everything!" She exclaimed excitedly. I can't stop myself from grinning. "Remember when I told you about quitting the play?" I asked her. "Uh huh. What about it?" She listened to me. "I told Miss J about it. And she doesn't look happy."
I chuckled, remembering why the heck did I do that? Bella laughed and told me to continue.
"Well, she told everyone to go home because she wanted to talk with me. Alone." I said, and Bella nodded while chuckling. "She keeps telling me to do this and that. And so I changed my mind about quitting." said, and Bella smiled. "Ha! I knew it." she laughed.
"Shush listen. When she was done talking with me, I was making my way towards the door when I noticed Nicolas was waiting for me. And he looked really angry by the way." I blushed about the fact that I kissed him first. Ohmygod
"Seriously?! Why?" She was confused. "I guess he heard about me wanting to quit."
"What happened next?" She said her eyes were twinkling with stars. "He was obviously upset with me and kept saying that if I hated him, I should tell him so he could get the hell away from me and stuff like that. I was not in the mood to argue with him, so...." I grinned. "Ohmygod! You did?"
"Yes! I never thought that he would kiss me back, but he did! And he seriously knows how to kiss! I was so embarrassed that I thought I was just dreaming at the time, but he proved me wrong when he decided to kiss me. For the second time!" I practically yelled the last part to her. "I think he is already madly in love with you! You are sooooo going to get him." She laughs, and we keep on talking about earlier.
I honestly can't believe this is happening.
That night, Nicolas texted me. I was so embarrassed to reply to him. It's just too much. He's just so irresistible. When I didn't reply to his hi text, he decided to call me. I was debating whether to answer him or just to ignore him. I can't. Oh my gosh. He had been calling me for the fifth time already. And so I decided to be brave and answer his call.
:Hello?
No answer. I could feel my cheeks getting warm.
:Nicolas?
Still no response. I bit my lip, waiting for him to say something.
:Are you there?
I heard him chuckling on the other line.
:Hey
He finally said, and I couldn't help the butterflies crowding in my stomach when I heard his addictive voice.
:Were you ignoring me?
He said. I smiled to myself.
:Nope. Why
I chuckled, and he was silent.
:It felt weird.
He said, and I was curious.
:What felt weird?
I asked him and he chuckled.
:I badly want to kiss you right now.
I was thankful that he could not see me or else he might have laughed at me for being so red as a tomato.
:Oh yeah?
I chuckled, and he sighed.
:I don't know what you have done to me, but I kind of like it.
I was doing the happy dance and was thankful that he couldn't see me.
:You were saying...
And yes, I was trying to annoy him. He chuckled. Again, Why does he have to be so cute?! Is he confessing right now?
:You seriously do make me crazy. Do you know Rosa?
To be honest, I feel honoured.
:Are you sure you didn't say those words to other girls besides me?
I grinned, trying to annoy him even more. He sighs.
:You're the only girl I know. That is weird enough to stick around.
And so I laugh.
:I know right? i am so amazing.
I could feel that he was rolling his eyes.
:Whatever you say, Rosa.
I bit my lip. Should I tell him that I like him?
:Nicolas
I took a deep breath.
:Yes?
He sounded so cute, ugh.
:Never mind...
I guess it's not the right time yet...
:Goodnight!
I added
:Already?
He sounded disappointed. I'm dying.
:Did you miss me already ?
I was just messing around with him.
:Yes
His answers made me smile. I could sleep peacefully tonight. There is no doubt in that.
:You'll meet me tomorrow, Nicolas.
I chuckled, and so did he.
:Goodnight then.
He said, and I couldn't help but to smile.
:I can't wait for tomorrow.
He added before ending the phone call.
What the heck was that?
I was really excited to go to school the next day. Why? Because there will be Nicolas and, of course, practise. When I walked downstairs, I saw my mom looking at a photograph of someone.
"Good morning!" I said as I hugged her
She looked startled.
"Oh morning, Rose," she replied. "Who's that?" I said as I got close to her to get a better look at the photograph.
It was a boy. Smiling widely in his graduation gown, And boy, I must say, he does look attractive.
"I don't remember. I found them in my old calculus text book." She shrugged and smiled. It is weird because he looks familiar. "Maybe he's your long-lost love? Who knows, maybe fate was trying to let you know." I joked, and she chuckled.
"Don't be silly, Rose." she said as she continued to put her books into a box. "What are you doing with your old books?" I was confused because all this time, her books were kept hidden in the attic. "Send them to orphanages." she said, shrugging and smiling.
"Okay... Can I have this?" I said while showing her the photograph earlier. She raised an eyebrow. "Why would you want those?" She said as she walked to the kitchen to grab a towel. "He seems fine," I said sheepishly, and she laughed. "Whatever you say, Rose, You should go now or you'll be late." she said, and oh I almost forgot about school. "See you later!" I kissed her cheek and waved goodbye.
She just shook her head and smiled. I put the photograph inside my bag and ran to the bus top. It's just not my luck that the bus took off exactly when I reached it. I took a seat and texted Bella that I would be late. Soon after the bus left, I noticed a car was parked in front of me. I can't see who's driving because the mirrors are black and I can't see a thing. I was beginning to worry because I didn't want to die. Yet. Suddenly, the front mirror slid down, revealing the driver.
"Nicolas?" I was already smiling. Oh God.
He removed his sunglasses, and he looks as good as ever. Wait, since when did he wear shades?
"Need a ride?" He smirked and he looked hot. "Sure!"
I said as I walked to the passenger seat next to him, and I was trying hard not to show my excitement in front of him. The ride was awkward. He doesn't talk much, and I don't think that it would be a good idea for me to start a conversation with him since he has a scowl on his face. When we arrived at school, I was thankful that we arrived on time.
"Thanks.. Nicolas." I smiled at him. He was looking at me curiously, and then he smirked. "Sure Rose"
He called me Rose. Why? Is he angry with me or something? I nodded and walked to my class, hoping that I wouldn't get a detention today. I haven't seen Nicolas the whole day, even at lunch. which is weird since he dropped me off this morning.
"Bradley asked me out on a date. You think I should go?" Bella exclaimed excitedly. "Seriously?" I was indeed amazed. "Yes, and oh my god, he is so cute!" She giggled and flushed pink. "Wow bells, you should totally date him," I urged her. She smiled. "You think so?" She bit her lip, looking nervous. "Yeah, He's cool and if he likes you, why not?" I shrugged, smiling. She squealed and began to tell me about her love story with her boyfriend, Bradley.
I turned my head to the usual place where Nicolas used to sit, but there was no one. He's nowhere in sight. Sighing, I concentrate on listening to Bella's story, although my mind is wondering far enough.
At practice, I was thankful that he'd come. When he saw me, he smiled and waved. He looks so cute I can't even breathe.
"Rosa."
That's more like it.
"Hi"
I said as I took a seat next to him. I was looking at Miss J, who was busy nagging Caleb about his lack of passion for acting. In the corner of my eye, I saw Nicolas staring at me. Oh my God. What is he doing?
"What?"
I asked as I turned to face him. He smiled and chuckled. Okay?
"I don't know that you drive." I said, as I remembered earlier today. "I don't." He said, while looking at me, confused. I chuckled. He raised an eyebrow. "But you give me a ride this morning?" I stated
He looked confused.
"I didn't go to school today. I only went to practise because of you." He was frowning now.
I was clueless. What?
:You mean... You don't remember driving and dropping me off to school?" I was really confused.
He looked confused as hell. "F*ck!"
"Where are you going?" I was worried. What's going on? "I have to go. I'll call you tonight."
He said as he stormed off to the door. Everyone was looking at me weirdly. I just shrugged.
What happened to him?
That night, he called.
:Hi
I breathed, and I could hear him chuckling.
:What?
I said again and he sighs. Okay, he's starting to be weird.
:I wanted to tell you something.
My heart skipped a beat when he said that. Is he going to confess? Seriously?!
:Hmm
I was already panicking.
"That was Nolan."
Huh?
:Who's that?
I was confused.
:The person you met earlier
I was recalling all the faces I met today.
:My twin brother
When he finally said that, my whole world stopped.
:You have a twin? Since when? What?
I was shocked. Is he joking or something? He sighs
:The person who drove you off to school this morning was my brother. Nolan Flynn. My twin brother
He chuckled. I could not believe this.
