Jayden and Emilie are now walking at the nearby park, as they both agreed to get away from a large crowd of people back at the festival venue, so that they can have a good talk. "Emilie?" Jayden calls for Emilie's attention. "Yes, Jayden?" Emilie asked in return, while still hugging the big teddy bear Jayden had won for her. "Did I make you happy this evening?" Jayden suddenly inquired. "You just don't have any idea how happy I am. This is best night that I'll never forget in my life." Emilie happily exclaimed. "I'm glad to hear that from you." Jayden wistfully spoke again. Emilie almost forget how to breath when Jayden suddenly held her hand. She's very much aware that she and Jayden didn't need to say anything else, as they are already aware of their feelings for each other. Emilie truly believes that "Action speaks louder than words..." ================================
"Ahh! This is going to be a good day!" Clark whispers as he is peacefully riding on his bicycle while cycling inside the Palmridge High Campus. It's such a beautiful day today. The sky is blue and the sun is shining brightly... As he is approaching the curved section road, he started pedalling slowly. His heart started beating like crazy at the thought of seeing Emilia Albreicht for the whole day at their class today. He is currently cycling his way at their school field when suddenly... "KABLAG!" Clark suddenly fell from his bicycle, as he is knocked by a soccer ball in the head. Again. His hand started feeling a certain part of his head, and he winced in pain when he touched the sore part. He groaned inwardly, while feeling hurt and frustrated. "Hey, how about a hand there?" one familiar voice made him look up. It was none other than Brent, who was grinning from ear to ear. Clark wanted to push Brent away from him but he stops himself. He doesn't want to be involved in any school trouble because he wanted to graduate in peace, and finally say goodbye to this bully. "Guess it's a bad morning for you, huh?" Brent commented, in a mocking tone. "If I can only erase that stupid grin on his face." Clark whispered to himself, while feeling irritated. But of course, there's no way he would say those things. Instead, Clark stood up, and forces an airy smile towards Brent. "Oh, no, not at all. Accidents like this normally happens..." he answered drily, as he brushes off some dusts on his pants. Brent laughs in return. "Oh, yeah... But you've been having accidents like this since our freshmen year. It can be considered as a world record, right?" he continues to mock Clark. "You think so?" Clark sarcastically asked, as he lifts up his bicycle from the ground. "Yeah, and oh, I've got to tell you this. Thanks for making me laugh, man. I really appreciate it. See you around.." Brent finally said, while tapping Clark's back. Afterwards, he started walking away, while still laughing as if there's no tomorrow... "What a wonderful life you got here, Clark." Clark mumbles to himself, with a hint of loneliness in his voice. He slowly walks away with a broken ego and a swollen head... ============================= After a few hours. Clark is walking at the school hallway, but his mind is floating elsewhere. What happened with him and Brent early in the morning replays on his head once again. "You've been having accidents like this ever since our freshmen year! It can be considered as a world record! And by the way, thanks for making me laugh, Clark!" Brent's annoying voice kept on echoing in his mind. "Why does Brent keeps on annoying me?" he asked to himself. He snaps put from his reverie when he felt someone tapping his shoulder. He looks back to see who it was. It was Steven Wright, who is also considered as "the four-eyed" nerd at Palmridge High. "Clark, can I talk to you for a minute?" Steven suddenly suggested. Clark suddenly frowned in return. He secretly wondered why does he look serious and what does he want to talk about with him? "Okay, no problem." he agreed, as he wants to know what is going on... Once they finally found a place to talk to, Clark started speaking again. "Is there any problem, Steven? What do you want us to talk about?" he inquired. Steven cleared his throat. Then afterwards, he stared at him with a serious facial expression. "Clark, I know you're having a hard time in this chapter in your life.I perfectly understand you, as I am experiencing the same thing." Clark's eyebrows met in a deeper frown. "What the hell is he talking about?" he thought to himself. "But you don't have to let anyone affect you. Whatever they do to you, don't let them bring you down." Clark was about to say something but he wasn't able to do so when Steven suddenly pulled something on his back and showed a paper with some writings on it. His eyes widened in shock when he finally reads it. "Born as a nerd, and will die as a nerd!" Clark wanted to scream out loud because of extreme annoyance. But he still tries to control his anger. He really wants to get out from this school! =================================== After his serious talk with Steven, Clark is now marching his way towards his first class in the afternoon, while feeling glum. "How long will this bullying continue? I hate my life!" he bitterly whispers to himself. "---Hey, what's with the long face, my friend?" Nina, his close friend greeted him, as soon as he steps inside the classroom. Clark states at Nina, while looking miserable. "I feel like shit right now, Nina." he mumbled. "I know. I've actually heard what happened to you this morning and what happened to you at the school hallway. I'm so sorry about it, Clark." Nina stated, while feeling so sorry for her best friend.
