"Just answer my question, Emmett." insisted Lara/Amanda.
"It's not hard to love you, Amanda... Actually, I've been meaning to ask you this eversince you woke up from that coma but----I feel like you're not the same Amanda that I used to know. You feel something different about you." Emmett answered, while frowning.
"What do you mean?" Lara/Amanda asked again.
"I like this new version of you. To tell you the truth, I can feel your warmth, I can feel that you're showing me your real and honest feelings. Before the accident, you felt a bit cold, distant and guarded. I really don't know what happened, but I'm starting to fall in love with you as days, weeks and months go by..."  Emmett smilingly pours out his real feelings.
"Oh, Emmett... I'm not the same woman that you knew." Lara/Amanda said, while looking teary-eyed.
"W-What do you mean by that?" Emmett asked in confusion.
And before Lara/Amanda could answer, she suddenly felt a dizzying spell, then afterwards, her eyesight went totally black...

Lara/Amanda slowly opens her eyes. After finally waking up, she realized that she is in Amanda's room. She slowly got up from her bed and her mind tries to remember what happened...
What she can remember is she and Emmett are at a church, and they are doing their wedding rehearsals. Both of them are practicing the Rite of Marriage ritual, and she wasn't able to actively participate, since she's feeling out of sorts.
And then, she and Emmett took a break, and they had a heart-to-heart talk, and she felt that her head and spinning, everything went black, and here she is...
She must have fainted because she hasn't been able to sleep properly, as she is trying to find out many ways on how to go back to his body and live her own life again ad Lara Smith, and not as Amanda Montserrat...
Her current situation is taking a toll on her mentally, emotionally and physically. Everything's getting out of control already, and she has to do something about it. 
"You don't need to worry anymore, Ananda. I'm going to end all of this. I'm going to clean up all of this mess." Lara/Amanda firmly pronounced, as she finally decided to let everything go...

After a few days...
Lara/Amanda is standing infront of a high-class condominium building, where Emmett is currently residing. She called him earlier today and asked him if they can talk privately. Emmett suggested that they should talk at his place because it's more private, instead of talking in a restaurant or other public places.
She wanted to talk to him face to face, and she wants to end their engagement and call off the wedding and finally have a proper closure.
Lara/Amanda is now making her way towards the building's entrance, and she doesn't need to introduce herself to the security guards anymore because they already know her as Emmett Albreicht's soon-to-be-wife, and they granted him an access inside the building's premises right away.
Once she is inside, she immediately went inside the elevator and went to the penthouse, where Emmett is currently residing.
After a few minutes, Lara/Amanda is now standing at the door, while pressing the doorbell. She did not wait for too long, because Emmett opens the door for her. 
"Welcome to my humble abode, Amanda. Please come in, make yourself at home." Emmett welcomes her with a smile, letting her come inside.
"Can I offer you anything?" 
"No, thank you. I'm okay..." Lara/Amanda politely declines.
"Please have a seat... By the way, what do you want us to talk about?" Emmett inquired, as soon as they both sat at the sofa.
Lara/Amanda took a deep calming breath, as she tries to be brave and calm.
"I want you to know that whatever happens, it's not your fault. This is entirely all my fault, and I'm the only one to blame." she started.
Emmett's brows met in a frown after hearing all of those things from Lara/Amanda.
"I... I don't understand. What are you trying to say, Amanda?" he inquired.
"I am calling off our engagement and I don't want to get married to you, Emmett." she finally announced. 
Emmett wasn't able to say anything for a few seconds, and he looked utterly confused.
"What's with this sudden change, Amanda? Did I do something wrong? Tell me what did I do wrong and I will do anything and everything to make it right..." he pleaded.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong... In fact, you're almost perfect, and you are every woman's dream..." Lara/Amanda reassures him.
"Then why don't you want to get married with me?" Emmett asked, in a confused manner.
"It's because I'm in love with someone else!" Lara is now talking on behalf of Amanda.
Surprisingly, Emmett became silent, as if he knows something already... 
He just continues to stare at her, as if he's afraid that she might disappear at any moment. But Lara can clearly see the sadness in his eyes.
"Do what makes you happy, Amanda. I am willing to let you go find your own peace and happiness." Emmett finally decided, while giving her a small smile. 
"You are truly a remarkable man, Emmett. I hope you can find your own peace and happiness as well. I sincerely wish that for you." Lara/Amanda said, while looking teary-eyed.
"I know I will." Emmett nodded in return.
 "I'm really am sorry for dragging you into this, Emmett. And thank you for loving me." Lara/Amanda relayed, as tears started to flow from her eyes.
Lara is flooded with guilt, and she can almost really feel Amanda Montserrat's emotions.
"I wish you all the best, Amanda." Emmett sincerely wishes her the best.
"I'm sure you'll love someone better than me. You just have to wait and see."
Emmett curiously frowned, but he didn't say anything.
"This is a goodbye, Emmett. I wish you all the best." she finally bid the man goodbye.
It may sound strange, but she can also feel Amanda's overwhelming emotions. There's guilt, regret,and a feeling of relief....
