Chapter Fifty two
 Thank You
Sheila’s POV
We walked out of the hospital with him holding me tightly to his self as if I was escaping in any moment.
 ‘But then maybe I will be gone in no time. I guess I should make the most out of it. ’ I thought.
Then verifying my feelings was another thing I needed to confirm if it was Aaron or King that I had fallen for. The criminal that was in my house and the one outside needed to be punished before my death. Not forgetting that, the silly woman knew about my illness even though she didn’t what actually was happening to me.
We got to his car and entered but he suddenly asked,
“Where do you want to go?”
I thought about it, I will have to go back to that house, it’s the only way, I can get evidence against that woman and maybe I can find my parents as well.
“Let’s go back to my house. ” I answered.
“ Even though that wasn’t what I was asking, Why?” asked King.
“How about I tell you later?” I asked.
“Please be careful, I can’t stop you but remember what happened in there?” he asked with worry.
“I remember and I won’t try to remember nor will I take anything from her. You’ve got my word for it. ” I answered.
“Okay, let’s go to some fun places after dinner, how about that? Then you can go home. ” said King
“Okay, agreed but I choose the places we go. Oh how will you cope among the crowd? They will swallow you. ” I said worriedly.
“I guess they would but you will be there to save right?” he asked sarcastically.
He drove the car as we conversed, all my troubles went to the back of my mind. He really knew how to make one pay attention even in just a conversation.
A few minutes later, we were parked in front of the first restaurant we had visited before. I remembered how rude I was to the nice man beside me, I smiled in his way. But my head started aching, it seemed I just didn’t have to remember a thing that just passed by me. He saw my pain, and quickly rubbed his hand in my hair as if that was to help ease the pain. I felt good he did that anyway, it only meant he was concerned about me.
He got out of the car, and I was about to open mine but he helped me with it. This time I didn’t forget to say ”thank you” and he smiled so widely, it affected me to smile as well. It was as if I had given him some gold, he did the same for the restaurant door and I just smiled and brushed his face.
 I could swear that man was blushing, imagine black with a blushing face. He touched where I touched severally with a smiling face, till we got to the window table which had no one sitting on it this time.
The waiter immediately ran to us and said,
“Sir, even though it wasn’t necessary, thanks for texting us before coming, I had reserved the table since the table you chose it.”
“What? You reserved the table for him since that day?” I asked surprised.
“Yes mum, he said you liked the place so didn’t want anyone to get in your way next time. ” the waiter answered.
“Don’t you think you are talking too much? Take our orders and please excuse us. ” asked King glaring at him, God if only glares could kill.
“Okay, sorry sir. Please chose what you want to eat from the menu. ” said the waiter.
We scanned the menu, but then I started ticking almost every meal on the menu. From the expression the waiter had on his face, it seemed he didn’t know what to do because he knew I was a sophisticated woman, to be walking with King but what I was doing he didn’t know if it was intentional or I just didn’t know how to use the menu.
 So he voiced out his opinion even when he was afraid to offend me,
“Mum, you are supposed to tick only the foods you want to eat and nothing else.”
I didn’t look up, but said,
“Yes that’s what I’m doing.”
King looked up from the menu and looked at me with a smile but then glared at the waiter.
After ticking all the food I wanted to taste, I gave him the menu and said.
“Take this bring me all the food I ticked, but all of them in their minimum potion okay?”
“Okay mum, sir?” he asked politely.
King looked at the waiter and winked at him and said,
“Just do as she said, and don’t worry about me.”
