It’s been two weeks since the outbreak started. From all of the place they had seen, Byul deduced that the apocalypse has just began. Judging from the few zombies crawling and the unknown cause, it seems the drug still hasn’t been discovered by the government. Though it was disheartening, it is such a relief that there’s only few zombies in the streets. “Fuck!” Byul was now burning with anger. It hasn’t been long since they confronted the hundreds of zombies and it still hasn’t been that long since that bastard activated his skill but now in a fucking moment of desperation, Byul didn’t hesitate to run away. Even if his legs had been shaking and he’s dragging his own body desperately, Byul was so pissed enough to not bat an eye to someone else. The certain someone was still fighting the zombies and it has only been a few minutes before he was instantly surrounded by those disgusting corpses. What quarter? What enough? He definitely said he could hold them off for a while! He totally said that but where the hell is he! He definitely saw him got bitten there! If his guess is correct, Stanley just got himself bitten by those things! He’ll definitely join their side after some time. It was this guess that hinted him to save his life. Byul clenched his teeth. He deeply regretted that he put his trust in that jerk. If he had known he was only bluffing about his skill then he wouldn’t even bother putting up a fight. They should’ve cross the sea in the beginning! With a hateful heart, Byul dragged himself towards the boat. It was on the shore and was ten meters away from his position, with his current condition, it would be a miracle to get on the boat without getting a zombie’s kiss. But still, Byul pushed himself to escape. He still have a chance to live and even if he got delayed, at the very least, he won’t be the first one to die! At that moment, Stanley landed a straight punch on the zombie’s face. He harshly kicked the one who was trying to bite him off and momentarily glance at Byul who was now in the middle of running away. It wasn’t that long til he was already fuming with anger. Fuck that idiot! He really didn’t hesitate to leave him out! Didn’t he definitely hear him say he’ll wait! What the fuck is he doing now?! With his mind off the gutter, Stanley quickly evade the zombie’s hug. He was trying to break free from the encirclement but the amount of zombies was just too much. Even if he created a path for himself, the number just keep on increasing. It was already like this yet the fact that he was going to be abandoned after saving a selfish runt almost drove him nuts. Stanley gritted his teeth. He only have half of the time left to break free from the zombies grip. If he don’t get away in that period then he will surely become a steaming meal. With a hateful glare, his eyes swept across the layer of zombies. The whole scene was blocked by them and he could barely see the staggering figure on the beach. In his heart, he was burning with rage and his guts, he had that deep regret. The image of that guy cowardly running away made his blood turned cold. He never thought that such a rotten person existed! Maybe, it was really a mistake to save someone else… He should’ve just left him in the cold if he knew he would unhesitatingly abandoned him now! With his thoughts running wild inside, Stanley had just landed a solid punch in front of him. The zombies in that side instantly got knocked on the ground with their guts splattered all over. The blood hit his face but Stanley was feeling so angry he didn’t have the time to care. The punching and kicking didn’t stop and just by hitting with his fist, Stanley eventually feel exhausted. It was that very moment. He already knew he’s f*cked. The man had just withdrawn his fist when a part of himself just snapped within. It was that second, when he finally lost his rationality. Stanley staggered a bit, sensing all the blood on his body has climbed up to his head. It wasn’t because of exhaustion but because he felt his mind had just gone empty. The temperature of his body rose and the itchy feeling of repulsion overlapped with his negative emotion. Fuck it. He was so angry that he didn’t realized he already lost it. Stanley quickly threw a punch on the zombie in front of him. He then grabbed the other one with his other hand and shoved it off making the zombie’s fly a meter away. After sensing the other was intensely approaching him, Stanley flashed an evil grin. He’s face turned hideous and his eyes were soon filled with resentment. As the punch lands, Stanley slowly cleared his way. It didn’t take long when he finally saw the staggering figure near the boat. With his hateful eyes, Stanley quickly finished the remaining corpses and soon walked towards the shore with a dark face. Byul had just reached the boat by now. He dragged his limping feet and slowly hopped inside the boat. After having himself in, Byul sat down to rest. He then decided to take a look at the ongoing slaughter when he was immediately reprimanded by a hand as the very person drenched in blood pressed him down. The sudden action almost made his heart jump but then he saw the familiar face glaring straight in his eyes. The murderous aura was very strong and he could feel the anger brewing inside his heart. Although, he didn’t understand why, Byul felt himself getting stabbed just by his sharp gaze. Stanley tightened his grip on his hand and in a very dangerous tone he said to him: “You ungrateful piece of shit! I saved you the night before so how could you just leave me to die?!”
