Byul was really tired of being wrapped around his fingers. After the deed was done, he can only feel himself crumbling away. Where was his pride? He never imagined that he would be so disappointed about himself like this. Perhaps, it was because of his stubbornness that lead him to such ending but seeing how the situation turned pretty much out of his own grasps. He just don’t want to do a single thing anymore. Problem is, he had no way to take back the words he hurled to him in the past and he could never recover from the humiliation he felt. It was pathetic and he can’t even say anything at all. The only thing in his mind right now was to either forget everything and move on or cling to his crumbling resolve. No matter how much he put on weight to his hatred, he can only feel the undeniable guilt slapping back. Well, it doesn’t really matter. So long he never let go of his remaining pride… That morning, they prepared for the next action to take. The zombies still haven’t reached the building yet but they’re probably surrounded by them now. Byul gaze down the surface of the building. The zombies are yet to approach but he can already feel the hopelessness weighing in his heart but contrary to what he was feeling right now, the bastard’s seems to be laid back. His attitude was carefree and his face don’t even have a shred of feeling and emotion. He just stared at him like a total gigolo. Byul can still see the flickering desire in his eyes as if he wasn’t in the least bit satisfied after banging him like crazy. He really can’t believe that in this world, he’d see a blatantly shameless man. Stanley slowly avert his gaze on his lips and in this very moment, Byul felt his nerves on the verge of exploding in anger. He really wanted to punch him so hard he’d never get up. Byul just heaved a long sigh, few thoughts came in his mind as he finally think of a wonderful idea. At this point, how can he not notice his ability greatly improved? Didn’t those numbers increased by half? Though, the phenomenon was still a huge mystery to him he was thankful at least. He never thought he’d level up with the current status he had but anyways he did. “We don’t have time. You should probably go down now and clear a path.” Byul immediately started to urge him. How can this bastard be so lax? He probably didn’t bat an eye to their numbers. Byul was a bit envious of him though. In all dangerous situation they’ve ever been, he never, not even once did he see Stanley flinched. He must be confident about his ability. After identifying their escape route, Byul and Stanley went down the stairs. The zombies was still ten meters away from the building and judging by their sense of sight, they won’t be found out when they don’t make a sound. Byul carefully look at the area. Since it was raining last night, they didn’t get to take a closer look at the building and right now he was slightly disappointed that there wasn’t even a single vehicle. The two of them walk for a bit and found out that they unexpectedly ran into a dead end. Byul palmed his face in regret. The back of the building instantly lead to pile of rubbles and the route was cut off in all sides. In order to escape, they have to charge in the den of zombies. Well, they can probably climb the rubbles but it was still uncertain what the other side looks like. After reaching the point of nowhere to go, Byul glanced at Stanley. He want to blame this guy again but he held back the goddamn urge to kill this man. It was probably the best to leave him alive as a meat shield. With a long thinking, the two of them finally decided to climb the rubble. Upon climbing, Byul took the opportunity to use his skill and moved a few zombies to lure the chasers away. Seeing that a commotion started in the distance, Byul and Stanley immediately climb up and ran into the other side of the debris. Few zombies detected their movement and immediately followed after them, hungrily crawling all over the rocks as they tried to grab onto their feet. The hike was exhausting and after crossing the huge pile of debris the two of them were trap in the center of a ruckus. Coming from all sides, the zombies sensed the movement on the rocks and started crawling aggressively as they stick their nose above. It was an obvious trap and they just fell for it indiscriminately. Byul and Stanley was obviously furious in this situation. Leaving them with a complete, inescapable route the two were fuming with anger. There’s no other way around but to kill and get killed. It’s either that but they definitely won’t choose the latter. Facing a dangerous situation, Byul shook. There’s a strong urge of betrayal and selfishness in his heart and seeing the situation had turned against them it’s only reasonable to have a sacrifice. Seeing his image wavering, Stanley already realized the rotten thoughts running in his mind. If he died here, he would die too. This fool he won’t realized that because of his stupidity so if ever there’s one wrong move and he sensed his betrayal, he won’t hesitate to call off their alliance. No way, he’s gonna die here letting him slip away in his hands and not when he finally grasp his weakness. He would never allow himself to die! No matter what happens! He would never let him escape! Even if it means dragging him to hell with him! When they reached the other side, Byul didn’t hesitate to ran away. Stanley also didn’t waste any time to escape. Seeing that the fool got ahead of him, he was slightly angry. He still felt that Byul has the lingering determination to leave and escape from his grasp and he hated that so before Byul ever get to leave his sight, he dashed away and captured him in his arms. Byul was scared shitless making him immediately shoved him away but Stanley didn’t let go, instead he carried him in his arms and ran away in great speed. Byul turned red seeing himself getting snatched away. The wind softly hit his face as the man carrying him just calmly look ahead. He really wanted to ask and complain if this was a different situation but right now he only felt powerless. What was this prick thinking? If they’re going to ran they can do it separately why does he need to carry me? “Hold on tight.” Stanley whispered to him. “Is there a need to do this?” “I prefer having you in my arms than to have you running away.” Those words and phrases hit his sensitive spot. At that moment, Byul only felt hot and angry. “Don’t f*cking delude yourself.” This damn bastard when did he learn to suck up? Did he hit his head and lost his mind in this mess. If not then why is he bootlicking me? Damn prick. I can’t believe him. No matter how much he thought about it. He can’t come up with a conclusion as to why he’s acting strange. It’s fucking uncomfortable. It’s frustrates him so much knowing the possibility of him no longer having the control over his own feelings. What is it that changed? Was it the sex that made him act this way? He never wanted anything to do with him anymore. Just once is enough but they did it twice, no actually it was the third time they’re bodies collide. It’s only a few times and yet this bastard acts like I’m his precious lover. He was never his lover and he never planned to be one. No matter how much he thought of them being together, it was only impossible. Him and me, we’re nothing else. Not friends or anything past that. All those negativities lead him drowning in the illusion of despair and he clearly know himself that he won’t be with anyone else and he would never feel affection towards anyone. It was him, his selfish pride and the only thread that he could cling to. Even if those line got erased, he would never allow himself to be with him. ‘Damn jerk. As if I’d let myself submit to him.’
