Chapter 36

Over time, Stanley finally managed to calm himself. After such intense repentance, he felt more annoyed than better so he didn’t linger in the issue anymore. He never felt so empty before but thinking up to this point, he slightly resent himself.
Byul just walked over and gave him a hateful glance. Can’t he just move on? Taking the matter so seriously. They’re not even that young anymore.
It was about to be noon and the two of them was currently in the middle of nowhere. The boat was still running and he don’t know how to figure it out after fiddling with the controls for a while. After starting it up, he thought he’ll less figured out the next but being overconfident could really led to failure. After busting his brain cells for a while, Byul eventually gave up. Why is the control panel so difficult to understand? In games, he would only pressed one or two and it would be fine. However, the game was like the total opposite of reality and all in all, he only knew how to start the engine and nothing else…
With the current dilemma, he was so embarrassed that he couldn’t bring himself to ask the other person in the boat. Well, who would? After harshly stomping over his feelings like that? Even if he didn’t feel anything earlier, he still have a bit of shame residing in his heart.
So in this situation, he rejected the idea of pushing himself to ask.
As the sun slowly rose to peak and the heat already intensified. Byul suppress the urges in his heart and went inside the control room to stare at the buttons helplessly. If someone were to look at him, they’d tell him he lost his mind. Deep in his heart, Byul wished that there’s only two buttons to press.
“What are you doing?”
The little sound almost give him a shock. He didn’t even realize Stanley just followed him inside. The b*stard just hurled himself a seat and looked at him with a blank face. Byul gritted his teeth. Why is it that in this moment he felt as if he’s mocking him?
With such carefree attitude, Byul couldn’t suppress the urge to strangle him straight. But then, such urge was pressed down in his heart.
“Nothing. I’m not even trying to do anything.”
Although, he didn’t give him a clue of his current condition. Stanley asked him the question he didn’t want to hear the most. He really wished that juncture didn’t happen but it came earlier than expected.
“Where do you plan to go?” Stanley wrinkled his brows. He was pacing back and forth since earlier and it seems to him that he didn’t know what to do…
Though he felt somewhat funny inside, he won’t tell him that.
Byul with a heavy feeling in his heart managed to reply in a blunt tone: “Just straight ahead.”
“In the middle of nowhere? The nearest island is situated in the left. You have to turn that way or else we’ll end up in the center of the ocean.”
With the responsibility casted to him, Byul clenched his teeth. He still haven’t given up his pride so in a very stubborn tone, he said to him: “Our destination is ahead so don’t f*cking command me to divert the boat.”
Sensing his total discomfort. Stanley raised his brow. It was rare for him to felt awkward and mad but even if he insisted on going straight, there’s really nothing there. Stanley knew that just by sense, since the direction of the wind blow in the west, the nearest island should be in the left. What’s the point of arguing with him when in the current situation, they have no fixed destination to go? Could it be just him berating him or he simply didn’t know how to operate the boat?
There comes the awkward silence.
“Pft!”
Stanley burst into a loud laugh. Who would’ve thought he would be so prideful to the point of not asking him for help? Damn, that was f*cking adorable.
A slight blush appear on Byul’s cheeks and seeing him getting all shy and angry confirmed his suspicion. Stanley just let out a profound smile and went over to his side. The sudden contact almost made the other person staggered. Stanley raised a brow and just give him a sideway glance.
After finding out one of his weakness, Stanley was simply satisfied. He never thought that in a whim, Byul would start the boat when he don’t even know how to control it.
Stanley just stayed calm, suppressing the urge to mocked him greatly in his heart. At some point, even if he did get hurt before, the current situation made him feel a bit better.
After the matter has been resolved, Stanley turned the yacht to the left with ease. He then set up something and somehow managed to cool off the room. In such precision, Byul felt somewhat envious and resentful of his skills.
The idiot let out a cold humph and just sat comfortably in his seat. Since he couldn’t come up with another excuse, Byul just treated it as passing matter and buried the embarrassment in his heart. At least, they’re just even in this point.
When the two finally reached the island, Byul was extremely amused. It wasn’t that lively but there are signs of recent human activity in the shore. After reaching the land, Byul hopped outside the boat without a second thought. He didn’t even bother to look back and see what his companion was doing.
Stanley was extremely irritated with that and just swallowed his rage deep in his heart.
Only then did Byul realized that he existed and immediately turned his head back to him. He slightly scratch his cheek and said in a very low tone: Thanks for saving me then.”
Stanley was still angry but after hearing those words, he was stunned for quite some time. All the anger in his heart immediately fade away as if it never happened. He just slouched his back and went down from the boat, with an indescribable feeling in his heart, he calmly said. “So long that you’re fine.”
