The next day I know I won when Wyatt didn't bother me with the CT scan. Grant fetched Gael early in the morning and we talked about Gael's pneumonia.
"How's your forehead?" Pia asked as she entered my office. "I heard Chase talking to Jaxon about you. He's worried about you, Reese."
"I know." I said to her and looked at my door when it opened again revealing Wyatt and Jaxon. "Why are you guys here?"
"Where's your car keys, love?" Wyatt asked so I got it from my bag and threw it to him. "Thanks. We'll get going."
"Hold up. You're using my car?" I asked and he nodded. "Why not use your car?"
"I want your car." He said before he closed the door.
"What will he do with my car?" I asked and rolled my eyes.
"Going to the police station and reporting the car who bumped into your car." Pia said, which made my eyes widen. I told Wyatt to leave it alone. I stood up to follow Wyatt but Pia stopped me. "You need to go to the OR now. You have 10 minutes."
I didn't have a choice but to proceed to OR. I have two surgeries so when I came back Wyatt was already there. "We'll eat lunch, let's go." He said and held my hand.
"Love, let me rest for a while. 'Di pa nga ako nakakaupo hihilahin mo na agad ako." I said and he just looked at me before carrying me which made me shout. "Wyatt put me down." I said when he walked out of my office. "Wyatt put me down. Nakakahiya." I said when all of the people were looking at us. I just pressed my face on Wyatt's chest since I know he doesn't have a plan to put me down.
"PDA." I heard Leon say and our friends laughed, which made me remove my face from Wyatt's chest and see all of them sitting. "Need talaga na ganyan?"
"Put me down already, love." I said and he did put me down. "Nakakahiya. I don't think I'll be able to lift my head again whenever I walk in the hallway." I said and they laughed.
Wyatt bought food for me and we ate with them. "We'll drink at our house. I can't let Leon drink outside mahirap na baka makipag suntukan na naman." Wyatt said and Jaxon chuckled. "Tell your boyfriend that we're surgeons and our hands are important, Tianna."
"Kanino nakipagsuntukan?" Tianna asked and Leon chuckled nervously, while Wyatt and Jaxon laughed. "Leon answered me."
"I'll answer you." Jaxon said and chuckled. "Ex mo."
"Bakit ka nakipagsuntukan sa ex ko?" Tianna asked Leon and he just shook his head. "Leon naman. You can just stay still and not do anything."
"He's bad mouthing you, mahal. Actually he's—nevermind." Leon said and shook his head. "Forget about it, Tianna. It's already done and it won't happen again."
"Has anyone heard anything from Bethany?" Joanna asked and all of us shook our heads. "Is she that busy?" She asked and sighed.
"Try asking Jerome later." Jaxon said to her and she nodded.
"I need to go." Wyatt said which made all of us look at him. "I need to go to the OR." He said then looked at me. "I'll get going. Don't forget that you have a surgery 30 minutes from now. I love you." He said and kissed me before standing up and walking away.
We stayed for 20 minutes before all of us decided to go. I proceeded with my surgeries then after it I proceeded with paper works. After I finished my paper work I put on my bag and went to Wyatt's office. "Continue working. I'll wait for you." I said and sat on the sofa. I rested my back on the backrest of the sofa and closed my eyes. I woke up when I heard Wyatt talking to someone.
"I don't eat dinner with my patient's family. You should leave. I'll talk to them if you can't." Wyatt said to Nurse Liza. "I have to meet someone important."
"Chase. They said that they want to thank you over dinner. You should go." Nurse Liza said, which made me sighed and they looked at me.
"My love. Should we go?" Wyatt asked, which made me shake my head. "Love, Mom is already waiting for you. She said she has something to give to you."
"You can tell her that we'll go there tomorrow. You should have dinner with your patient's family. It seems necessary." I said and took a glance at Nurse Liza. "Can you leave us?" I asked her and she just looked at me and didn't move. "Chastille, give me my keys."
"Your car isn't here. Jaxon and I sent it to the repair shop." He said, "we should go, we still have plans."
"Eat dinner with your patient's family. I'm going to ride with Jaxon and Pia." I said and he sighed. "I should probably get going." I said and rolled my eyes.
"Love, you're going with me at my parents house then we're going home. Mom will get mad at us if we don't show up tonight because she has something important to give you." Wyatt said as I stood up.
"Chase your patient's family is waiting for you." Nurse Liza said and there I lost my patience.
"Is his patient's family more important than his mother? And can't you respect his decision? For god's sake it's not his responsibility to eat with his patient's family." I said then looked at Wyatt before going out to see his patient's family waiting outside. "Are you waiting for Dr. Hudgens?" I asked and they nodded. "I'm sorry but he can't have dinner with you today. He had an important dinner with his parents."
"It's fine. But you aren't the nurse who we walked to a while ago." A middle aged woman said.
"Good evening, Dr. Solis." A patient greeted me so I greeted her back.
"Love, why did you leave me? You even leave your bag on the couch." Wyatt said when he got out, which made us look at him. "Mom called again looking for us, especially you. We should go, she's already threatening me that if we don't show up she'll not attend our wedding."
"Talk to them first." I said to him and looked at his patient's family then my phone rang which I quickly answered. "Mom, I know that you and Tita are together. Can you wait?"
"Anong oras na Graciella Reese. Malamig na ang pagkain." Mom said and sighed. "Go here immediately."
"I'm sorry I fell asleep because I don't feel that well but can you guys wait a bit longer? We'll be there." I said and I heard Mom and Tita giggling. "Why act so upset then let me hear giggles? What's the thing Tita will give me that 's so important?"
"She'll probably give you our family heirloom. Do you remember the jewelry that has tanzanite stones that I showed you? She'll probably give it to you." Wyatt whispered to me which made my eyes widen.
"I'll give Wyatt our family crest. So be here." Mom said which made me nod. "I'll drop the call. Be here."
"I can set up lunch tomorrow." Wyatt said to the family so I told him that he had a lunch planned with his friends. "That's fine, love. We can adjust our plan tomorrow."
They talked for a while before we went to his parents house. When we arrived we went straight to the kitchen and all of the food was already prepared but before I could even sit down I felt nauseous which made me excused myself and vomited on the sink.
"What's wrong, Reese?" They asked me but I didn't answer them since I don't know either.
"I just felt nauseated." I answered them and sat on my chair. Wyatt was just looking at me without talking so I didn't talk too. We ate dinner as we talked about our upcoming wedding and other things. They gave us the family crest before we went home since our friends are already at our house since I gave my house key to Pia. "Love, are we fine?"
"Yes. We are fine, Graciella." He said without taking his eyes on the road. "What made you ask?"
"Something just feels off." I said and shook my head. "Are you ready to be a father?"
"I don't know." He answered, which made me scared. "We're still very busy." He said and I didn't talk anymore until we got to our house. "I'm not allowing you to drink, Graciella." He said as we walked inside our house so I just nodded since I also don't feel like drinking.
"Bethany!" I shouted when I saw Bethany sitting and about to run to her when Wyatt held my waist. "Let go, love. I'll go talk to Bethany. I missed her."
"No running." He said and I nodded before he let me go but still I ran to Bethany and hugged her. "You didn't listen to me, Graciella."
"How are you? I missed you." I said to her and she chuckled.
"Jerome hid me from all of you." Bethany said, which made me look at Jerome who's carrying a baby. "You're a godmother. You can't say no."
"Bethany, you hid your pregnancy from us!" I said as I walked towards Jerome to see the baby. "Is it a boy or a girl?"
"She's a girl. Her name is Athena Eleanor, you can call her Lea." Jerome answered me as he gently gave me the baby. "Hawakan mo maigi. Wala kang pamalit d'yan." He said and chuckled. I sat beside Wyatt as I looked at the baby.
"You looked so amazed, love." Wyatt said and chuckled. "She's so tiny."
"Yeah. It feels so good holding a baby." I said and looked at Wyatt. "Do you want to hold her?"
"No, love." He said so I let him and just stared at Lea. "Where's the velvet box you were holding, love?" He asked so I looked beside Bethany, they all looked at it and Pia got it and opened it.
"Is this tanzanite?" Tianna asked so I nodded. "You guys are very rich."
"Be careful with it." I said then looked down at Lea. "You're so beautiful."
"Kukunin kong ninang si Reese. Sobrang yaman." Pia said which made me chuckle.
"You should get Wyatt, not me. It's from him." I said and Wyatt immediately disagreed.
"Get my mom. That's from her." He said and chuckled. "Can I have it now? We'll get scolded if we break that. That's our family heirloom." Wyatt got the box and then excused himself.
"Let me have her." Bethany said when Lea cried. I watch her and I can't help but be amazed. "You look so innocent, Reese." She said and chuckled.
"When do you and Chase plan to have a child?" Leon asked, which made me look at Wyatt who just arrived.
"After the wedding like you said." Wyatt answered while looking at me. "Did you drink your vitamins a while ago?" He asked so I nodded.
"When is the wedding so we can make ourselves free." Joanna said,
"24th of december." Wyatt answered her. "We'll send invitations soon."
"Answer us honestly. Do you guys really plan to have a child? It looks like you guys don't have a plan." Jerome said, "baka gusto nyo na lang maging rich tita saka tito."
"Lagpas na kayo sa calendar next year. Galaw galaw." Tianna said and they agreed.
"We have plans on having a child. Children to be exact. 3 boys and 2 girls." Wyatt said, which made them quiet while I chuckled. "It's a lot isn't it?"
"It is." I said to him, "Should we start today?" I asked him jokingly and he glared at me. "Kiss, love." I said and pouted but he just flicked my forehead, which made me glare at him. "The last time you declined to kiss me is because Nurse Liza kissed you. So tell me, Chastille. Did she kiss you again?"
