"Good morning." I greeted him as I sat down. He's already awake and watching tv. "What time are we going?"
"9 am." He answered which made me look at the clock to see that it's already 8. "Drink water before going to the bathroom." He said as I stood up. I got the water on my side table and went to the bathroom. "It's okay if we're gonna be late!"
"No. It's not okay!" I shouted, then drank water before proceeding to take a shower. When I got out of the bathroom it was already 9 and Wyatt was already dressed. "You're late already."
"It's fine. Wear white sneakers, it compliments your white shirt." He said when I was about to wear my black stiletto. "And we'll do a lot of walking so wear sneakers." He added so I did.
"Wyatt, did you see my bag?" I asked and he raised it on the air. "Is everything already there?" I asked and he nodded. "Then let's go."
When we arrived at their meeting place we're already 45 minutes late. "What do you want for breakfast? You still haven't eaten."
"I'm not hungry. Let's go to your friend." I said and tried to drag him with me.
"Let's order a donut and coffee. You need to eat." He said and gently dragged me to the counter. He ordered before we went to his friends. "Sorry we're late."
"Parang hindi pa kami nasanay." Jaxon said then look at me. "Good morning, Reese."
"Meet my friends, Gracie." Wyatt said and introduced his friends one by one. "And oh that's Piara. You know her right?"
"Yeah. Hello. I'm Reese." I introduced myself to them then went behind Wyatt because I'm getting shy, while he just chuckled. "Let's get our order." I whispered to him.
"You're so cute." He said and laughed. "We'll just get our order." He said to his friends then we walked and got out of order then we sat down on their table. "Give me your bag." He said so I did then he opened it and got a wipe which made me look at him curiously. "Let me wipe your hand." He said and held my hand so I let him.
"So are you guys together?" Pia asked so I shook my head. "What? You guys look like a couple." She said and Jaxon whispered something to her while their friends chuckled.
"Don't mind them and just eat, Gracie." He whispered to me while I looked at him to see him glaring at them which made me chuckle. "Graciella, eat already."
"Why do you sound angry? Ang aga-aga." I said and got the donut on the plate and put it in front of his mouth. "Take a bite and smile, Wyatt."
"Graciella Reese, don't baby me." He said but still took a bite which made me chuckle. "It's delicious. You should eat it."
I ate the donuts and sometimes he asks for a bite even though he's busy talking to his friends. "Painom, Wyatt." I said when I saw him sipping coffee and he did. "Thank you."
"Anything for you Ms. Minor." He said which made me punch his shoulder. "You're punching me now. You leveled up Ms. Minor."
"Shut the fuck up, Chastille." I said to him and all of his friends gasped. "Oh I said it out loud. I'm sorry." I said and covered my mouth while Wyatt laughed.
"Bro, he fell harder than we thought." I heard Gavin say which made me look at them. "You gotta give advice to your friend, Kelvin."
"Gavin." Wyatt called him which made them stop and look at our direction. "Keep on eating, Reese."
"Why do you guys keep on calling each other with different names? Can you guys settle with one?" Pia said so I nodded.
"You call me Reese, while I'll call you Wyatt." I said to him and he glared at me. "You'll call me Reese, okay?"
"No, Gracie." He said and gave me a cup of water. "Drink."
"Hey Chase!" I heard a girl calling him which made me turn my head in the girl's direction. "It's been a while."
"Graciella, drink the water already and stop drinking coffee." He said to me without minding the girl which made me look at him with arched brows. "What? I'm just telling you to drink water, don't look at me like that."
"Mitchel. You're here." Kelvin said and looked at Wyatt. "Since when did you come back?"
"Graciella Reese, just drink the goddamn water." Wyatt said, which made me look at him out of shock since he doesn't really curse at me. "Fuck. I'm sorry. Just drink the water already." He said when he seemed to realize what he said then he sighed.
"It's fine." I said and got the water from her hand then looked away. I drank the water until I was choked by it.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he gave me his handkerchief. "You should've drunk the water slowly." He said as he patted my back.
"I'm f—Chase." I was cutted when a girl named Mitchel called him.
"Not now, Mitchel." He said to her without looking away from me. He was about to talk when a phone rang. He got my bag and pulled out my phone. "Excuse me, I'll just talk to Mom." He said and stood up and walked away while the girl sat beside me.
"Did Chase get a new phone?" Jaxon asked when Wyatt walked away. "And who are you?" Mitchel asked and the guys called her. "What? I'm not doing anything wrong." She said when I'm about to answer so I just told him that it was mine. "And you let him answer the call?"
"There's nothing wrong with it. And you heard him. It's tita theresa." I answered him and looked at Wyatt who just arrived. "How did the talk go?"
"Mom said that tita Lucia wants to have lunch with us, especially you." He answered me and looked at his friends. "I'm afraid that we can't eat lunch with you guys."
"It's fine. You and Reese should enjoy today. You and Reese didn't watch the movie yesterday. You guys should watch it today. It was good." Gavin said which made me look at him then to Wyatt. "We're supposed to watch it together yesterday but Chase said that you're tired so you guys went home."
"You didn't say that you're watching it with your friends too! I should have come home without you yesterday." I said to him and he just chuckled and went to my side. "Why does your aunt want us? Especially me?"
"Cira might want to see you? And oh, tita mentioned chocolates to me. I told her you love chocolates." He said which made me nod. Cira is tita Lucia's daughter.
"Chels. Look, it's Ate Reese and Kuya Chase." I heard Isabella's voice which made me look around and waved when I saw them. "It's really them. Let's go."
"Hi Chels." Mitchel greeted Chelsie but she didn't mind her.
"Do you want to hang out with us, Ate Reese?" She asked and then looked at Wyatt. "What Kuya? You can't decide for Ate. If she agreed then she did and if not, so be it."
"I can't go with you girls. Maybe next time." I said to her then look at Wyatt who's started to tease his sister. "Stop it, Wyatt. You girls should get going and enjoy yourself." I said and they bid their goodbye while we decided to go shopping.
"You and Chase are really just friends?" Pia asked, we're walking together while the guys are walking behind us with Mitchel. "You guys seem more of a couple than friends."
"Maybe because we grew up together and that it makes us naturally do things couples do." I said to her and looked behind us to see Wyatt frowning then looked back. "Do you know what's their relationship with Mitchel? Wyatt looks grumpy since she arrived."
"I heard she ruined Chase and their other friend's friendship. So maybe that's the reason why Chase is grumpy." She said which made me look at Wyatt again and this time it was a stare.
"Look forward, Graciella." He said as he walked faster while I looked forward. "What's the problem?"
"Nothing. I just want to know if you're okay." I said and he chuckled and gave me a big smile. "That's better than frowning."
"You're the best." He said as he put his arm on my shoulder. "I'll tell you about Mitchel later. I know you're already wondering." He whispered so I nodded. "Anyways, what color of sneakers should we get this year? Please do not answer white."
"Let's go with mint green then we'll buy a purple one on my birthday." I said to him and he agreed. We bought sneakers and his friends bought too but in the color white. "Another display." I said as I got the paper bag from the cashier.
"This won't be just a display in your room. You need to wear this to our family gathering. We'll have one soon." He said and I quickly disagreed.
"I'll wear a stiletto to our family gathering since I'll be wearing a dress." I said and looked at my wrist watch. "Chastille, it's already 11:30. We're gonna be late again."
"Not really. The driver just arrived." He said and let me see his phone. "I guess this is the end of today? Let's hang out some other time. Boys night."
"With girls and drinks? I'm going." Kelvin said, while Gavin punched him on the shoulder. "Are you going, Chase?"
"Probably not. Someone is going to be jealous." Wyatt answered him then looked at me and chuckled, which made me glare at him. "But really no girls. My minor will be mad."
"Fuck you, Chastille Wyatt." I said to him then bid goodbye to his friends and Pia before walking away but quickly stopped and went back to him when I realized that I didn't know where to go. "Where's the car?"
"This is what I told you last night. See? I can't have a girlfriend until you turn 18 because you're very dependent on me. You don't even care about your bag and phone." He said which made me roll my eyes. "We'll get going. I'll see you guys again soon." He said and gently dragged me with him.
It only took us 10 minutes to arrive at the restaurant where we are meeting tita Lucia. "Good afternoon, tita." I greeted her then looked at Cira. "Hello Cira."
"Ate Reese! We bought you a lot of chocolates." Cira said and told me to sit beside her. "Let's taste it."
"We'll eat lunch first, Cira." Tita said as the waiters put the food on the table. We ate as we talked about things. "Are you guys really just friends?" She asked as Wyatt wiped my hands.
"Yeah. Wyatt said that he'll get himself a girlfriend when I turn 18. That'll prove that we're really just friends." I said and looked at Wyatt who' laughing.
"Why do you need to wait for her to be 18 before having a girlfriend, Chase?" Tita asked him and he looked at me mischievously.
"My minor is depending on me. My girlfriend might get jealous and fight with her. I can't let someone hurt Ms. Minor." He answered her and chuckled while I tried to punch his shoulder but he's holding my hand. "Stop hurting me."
"You sure care about Reese more than other people. Why not date her?" Tita said and Wyatt coughed so I gave him water. "Are you okay?"
"Yes, tita." He answered her and then drank water. "Gracie likes someone, tita."
"I like someone? Who?" I asked him confusedly. "Chastille. You know that I don't talk to boys."
"Why not date him, Reese?" Tita asked which made me look at her then look at Wyatt before looking away. Well, it's not a bad idea.
"How would Ate Reese date Kuya if he said to her that he'll date someone when she turns 18?" Cira asked and chuckled. "But the thing is who's this specific person that Kuya wants to date when Ate turns 18?"
"Maybe it's your Ate Reese." Tita whispered to Cira but we still heard it anyway. "You and Chase really look great together, you guys also get along well. You two should really date each other."
"We'll talk about it later, tita." I said and looked at Wyatt who's glaring at me but I just smiled at him and he also smiled. "For the sake of looking good Wyatt, keep smiling." I said and chuckled.
After we finished eating, Wyatt and I watched the movie we should've watched yesterday before going home.
"I'm wondering why they keep telling us that we look good together." I said and looked at him who's laying in my bed. "Do we really look good together?"
