"They said so, so I guess we are." He said and hugged the pillow. "But I think we do look great together. We aren't this close if not."
"Maybe we do look good together but that doesn't mean that we should date each other." I said as I watched him cover his face with the pillow. "I mean friendship is more great for the two of us since our families are friends." I said and sat beside him.
"Layuan mo ko." He said which made my eyebrows arched. "Anyways, did you already have an outfit for tomorrow? It's family day."
"I don't." I answered him and tried to remove the pillow from covering his face but he's hugging it too tight. "Can you still breathe, Wyatt?"
"I still can, Reese." He said, which made me roll my eyes. "I'm bored."
"Let's sleep." I said and lay beside him and then hugged him. "Let me hug you. I feel like you need my hug because you felt so stressed because of Mitchel a while ago."
"Stressed with her? Not really. I was more stressed because you didn't listen to me about drinking water." He said and removed the pillow in his face. "You're sometimes frustrating."
"No. It wasn't me who's frustrating you. Nung dumating si Mitchel bigla ka na lang naging ganon. So tell me about her." I said and he started telling a story and what he said was the same as what Pia said. "Why would she ruin your friendship with the other guys?"
"I don't know." He answered which made me pinched him. "Graciella, nananakit ka na naman. I don't know the reason." He said and yawned. "Let's sleep. Go hug a pillow."
"What if I want to hug you?"
"Just hug a pillow. You didn't let me hug you last night." He said, which made me chuckle. "And you should start practicing not hugging me. You'll turn 18 soon. I'll start dating someone."
"Stop bringing that up, Wyatt." I said when I suddenly felt irritated with the idea of it. "Akin na yung unan." I said and got the pillow in his hand then faced the opposite side of the room then hugged my pillow. "Hug a pillow, Chastille. You'll start dating someone soon and you should stop hugging me." I said when I felt him hug me.
"What if I date you?" He asked, which made me roll my eyes. What he's saying is impossible. "I mean it's better to date you than someone I just met and I really love being with you."
"Tigilan mo ko, Chastille." I said and removed his arms from hugging me. "Akala ko ba matutulog tayo?"
"I want to hug you so stop removing it. You can sleep." He said which made me sighed and faced him. And as usual his smile is so big and his eyes are sparkling even though he looks a little bit tired. "Yes, I know that I'm handsome."
"Yeah, you are. Let's sleep Wyatt. You look tired." I said and watched him close his eyes. "Sleep tight, Wyatt." I said and patted his head.
I fell asleep too but woke up when I heard a knock on the door. I gently removed Wyatt's arm on my waist then stood up to open the door. "Someone is looking for you, Reese. He also talked to me and your father. He said that he'll court you. Who is he?" Mom said, which made my eyes widen.
"What? I'll follow you, Mom." I said and walked to Wyatt and woke him up. "Someone is looking for me, Wyatt. I don't know who it is and it's a guy."
"Who dares to visit you?" He asked as he stood up. "Why do you have a visitor?"
"Mom said that he said that he'll court me." I said and he sighed. "Do you know who that person is?"
"How could I know?" He asked as he put his arms on my shoulder. "Tell me if you don't like him. I'll save you."
"Save me from what?" I asked and chuckled but he didn't answer. When we got to the living room everyone was there. When I saw everyone it meant my family and Wyatt's. "Good evening."
"So who's trying to court Ms. Minor?" He asked which made me pinched him. "Nananakit ka na naman. Sana hindi mo na lang ako ginising."
"Mas nauna ka pang magtanong sa akin, Wyatt." I whispered to him and he just chuckled. "Why did they let him in in the first place?"
"Do you want me to ask?" He asked so I shook my head. "Who's trying to court my minor, Mom, Tita?" He asked and all their eyes went to the familiar guy who's sitting between my father and Tito.
"Jerome?" Wyatt and I asked in unison. "You're the one who's trying to court my minor?" Wyatt asked, which made me pinched him.
"Stop addressing me as your minor for god sake, Chastille." I said and he just chuckled. "What's with you, Jerome?"
"I'm just trying to annoy Chase." Jerome said, which made me sighed. "I do think it's effective. Look at his face." He said so I did and Wyatt is glaring at him.
"You just ruined our sleep. I'm really annoyed." Wyatt said to him and sighed. "Kaya hindi lumalaki si Gracie dahil lagi mong iniistorbo yung tulog." He said so I tried to pinch him again but he held my hand. "Love language mo bang manakit? Kasi kung oo mahal na mahal mo naman ako."
"Syempre mahal na mahal kita. Ikaw ba naman 'yan." I said before sitting on the sofa and he sat on my lap. "Chastille, you're heavy." I said but he didn't mind me.
"Why are you really here, Jerome?" Wyatt asked him as he leaned on my shoulder. "I'm still sleepy."
"I'm really here for you. You aren't answering my calls." Jerome answered him. "Let's talk." He said and they both stood up and walked away.
"That's Chase's friend not yours?" Mom asked so I shook my head.
"It's our mutual friend." I answered mom as my eyes followed the two. They look so serious while talking. I wonder what it is.
"Do you plan on having a boyfriend, Reese?" Tita asked so I shook my head.
"Wyatt is enough of a headache for me, tita. Ayoko nang dagdagan." I said and chuckled. "And oh he'll be jealous."
"Gracie. I need to meet the boys." Wyatt said as he walked towards me. "I might stay there for a night."
"Mas nauna ka pang mag paalam kay Reese kaysa sa akin ah." Tita said and Wyatt just chuckled at her then looked at me again then leaned forward.
"Please get my things ready. Don't miss me, Ms. Minor." He whispered and chuckled so I kicked him but he didn't stop. "Call me when you need me. Take care and don't do stupid things."
"You're the only one who's doing stupid things, Chastille. Umalis ka na nga." I said and pushed him away from me. "Kahit wag ka na bumalik."
"Okay. Sabi mo 'yan ha." He said and bid his goodbye to the others then walked away without saying goodbye to me! "And mom, I forgot to tell you that we'll be drinking. Is it okay?"
"Sure. You're already 18 so you can drink but drink responsibly." Tita said to him then look at me. "Are you fine with him drinking?"
"I'm hungry." I said and stood up then walked away. I heard them laugh but I didn't mind them. When I arrived at the kitchen I searched for food and I didn't feel like eating any of it.
"What do you want to eat? I'll order it for you before I go." Wyatt said which startled me. "Tell me what you want already."
"I can order it by myself. You can go now." I said and pulled out my phone. "Don't drink a lot. You can leave now."
"Give it to me." He snatched my phone then put it in his pocket then got his and started ordering. "Ice cream?" He asked so I nodded. When he's done ordering he put his phone in his pocket then got my phone and gave it back to me. "I'll get going. Eat a lot. I won't drink a lot." He said and patted my head before running away.
I went back to the living room and watched with them until someone called me. It was the driver of my food. I was smiling as I put my food on the table then started eating and stopped when Wyatt called.
"How's the food?" Wyatt asked when I answered the call. "Do you like it?"
"It's so good and yes, I do. Thank you." I said then chewed the french fries in my mouth. "Are you busy?" I asked when I heard the boys in the background.
"Not really. They're just preparing our drinks." He said and I heard someone shout 'talk to your girlfriend some other time' which made me raise my eyebrow. "Shut the fuck up, Bry!"
"You didn't tell me that you have a girlfriend, Chastille." I said and stopped eating.
"What? I don't have a girlfriend. You'll believe someone you don't know more than me, Graciella?" He asked and cursed.
"You're dead, Bry. He's talking to his best friend." I heard Jaxon's voice and laughed.
"Chase has a girlfriend? Why don't we know about that?" Tita said which made my eyes widen. I forgot that I'm in the living room with them. "Do you know his girlfriend?"
"He doesn't have a girlfriend, tita. I'm just joking." I said and I heard Wyatt laughing. "Call me before you sleep, Wyatt. I'll drop the call and finish my food." I said and then dropped the call.
They kept asking me about it but I didn't answer them and just kept on eating. "Reese, do you know that I like you for Chase?" Tita said, which made me choke on my food and coughed. "Are you okay?" Tita asked as she gave me a glass of water, which I quickly drank.
"You like me for Wyatt? Why?" I asked but I didn't get an answer just their chuckles.
"I like Chase for you too. You guys get along so well." Mom said which made my eyes widen. "Why do you look so shocked? We wouldn't let you guys hang out in a lock room with just the two of you if we don't want you guys together."
"I don't want to hear any of it anymore." I said and stood up. "And I'll talk to Wyatt about this. You guys won't see us together again." I said and walked away as I dialed Wyatt's number but he wasn't answering and when I called again he's on call with someone else so I just sat on my bed and stared at the wall. I wonder who Wyatt's talking to. I was about to turn on the tv when my phone rang and it's Wyatt.
"Graciella. Where are you? Tell me and I'll go fetch you." He said, which made my eyebrow furrowed. "Answer me, Graciella Reese."
"Chill, Wyatt. I'm in my room. What happened?" I asked and sighed. "Sino kausap mo kanina?"
"It's good that the guys hid my key." He said and sighed. "I was talking to Mom a while ago. She said that you walked away from them and they don't know where you went. Is there a problem?"
"I'll tell you tomorrow. Just enjoy yourself right now, Wyatt." I said and lay in my bed. "Don't be late tomorrow, okay?"
"Yeah, I'll be early for you. Goodnight, Gracie. I love you." He said and cut the line. What's with him?
I called him again and he didn't pick it up so I decided to just text him my reply. It should be just 'goodnight' but the second I see is that I texted him 'I love you too' but it's fine since I really did.
He replied with 'there's no girls here', which made me chuckle. We kept on texting and teasing each other until I fell asleep.
The next day Wyatt was nowhere to be seen. He's also not answering any of our calls so I decided to call Jaxon.
"Reese? Why did you call?" Jaxon asked as soon as he picked up the call.
"Where's Wyatt? He's not answering our calls." I said and he said that Wyatt is still asleep. "Where are you guys? Can you send me the address? I'll go and fetch Wyatt."
He did send me the address so I asked my driver to go there and when I got there Gavin and Kelvin greeted me. "I'll bring you to his room." Gavin said as soon as we entered the room a girl's perfume was smelled and there's a freaking girl on Wyatt's side!
"Chastille Wyatt Hudgens!"
