"Are you against it or not?" She complained as she raised her left eyebrow.
He massages his temple using his right hand, as if he's having a headache on the situation.
"I am. But your excuse doesn't make sense." He then put his hands on the pocket of his trouser.
"You're right." She took a sigh. She then leans at the wall near the entrance of the balcony.
"But do you have any other plan?" She crossed her arms over her chest while looking at him.
He looks at her with a serious eyes. "I tried to convince them." He started.  
"But it just made the things worse, now they want it as soon as possible." He continued then look away.
And there's a silence for a moment. Rue tried to think of another way of solving their problem while her fingers are fidgeting on her arms. Trying to think of any other way just to convince her father regarding with the marriage.
After a moment of thinking, her fingers stops on moving and looks at him. "We can't just let it happen without trying harder, right?" She acknowledge and sounded with determination.
He suddenly looks at her. "Do you have a good plan now?" He said while looking at her with furrowed eyebrows.
"We will talk to them and pretend that we're not against the marriage." She concluded with a serious eyes.
Since they don't allow them to interfere because they're opposed to the marriage, she's thinking that they might have it delay if they both pretend to reconcile.
His brows are still furrowed as he continues on. "Are you sure it will work?" He's referring to the plan they had in mind when she told him her idea.
"That's why we have to pretend that we're in a good relationship." She added while looking at him directly at his eyes.
He stares at her for a while. While she's waiting for his answer, she noticed that he also has a dark red eyes with a curly long lashes.
Some royal blooded with dark red eyes have 3 abilities. But commonly, they only have 1 or 2. It depends if it's hypnosis, reading minds, or controlling elements.
After a few seconds, he didn't even utter a word and she couldn't read what he's thinking.
She tried to interpret his response. "Don't tell me you have a fling or something?" She looks at him lifting her left eyebrow.
His brows twitched a little when she asked this topic.
"Just to make sure that no one will put a grudge on me after this." She said as she shrugged.
He doesn't want to answer it but her eyes is staring at him and waiting for his answer.
"No." He answered her, looking away from her.
She let out an 'ah'. "I see, you've never had any relationship before." She said while giving him a mischievous smile and slowly nodding her head.
He rolled his eyes. "You're impossible." Then, he added in a low voice, "It's not like that." He looked away again.
She chuckled with his reaction and thought it was a cute side of him.
"So you like someone else?" It sounds more like a question than anything but it felt like a statement too.
He looked back into her eyes trying to understand why she'd ask such a question but she doesn't look as if she has ulterior motive.
He remained quiet for several seconds while staring at her and after a couple of moments.
Then, he finally speaks up.
"It's none of your business." He said in an annoyed voice as he looks away.
She frowned. 'This man is giving me an attitude?' She thinks to herself. And she can tell that he doesn't want to talk about it.
But with her observation of his reaction, it seems like he does like someone else.
"Fine... I won't ask you who you're interested in anymore." She says with annoyance in her voice as she rolled her eyes.
And there's a moment of silence with an awkward atmosphere. She waited for him to speak but he didn't say a word.
'Now he's too quiet.' She ranted in her mind.
"So can we proceed to the plan now?" From leaning to the wall, she's now standing with a straighten back.
He looks at her while she's fixing the alignment of her gown, that emphasized her slim body. Her hair is bun,, it shows her flawless back.
While he's staring at her, he couldn't deny the fact that it fits to her perfectly. Also her bared face with natural red lips, she's indeed gorgeous.
 
She raised her eyebrow when she noticed that he's staring at her intently.
'Is he still not sure go with the plan?' She thought in her mind.
Little did she know, he's mesmerized with her beauty. He then snap out from his thoughts and realized that he had been checking her.
He didn't look away to be not obvious but instead he slowly nod. "Let's give it a try then." Fortunately she has no idea what's going on his mind.
"Give it a try on what?" A woman suddenly speaks while slowly walking towards them.
They're eyes turned into a woman wearing a navy blue off shoulder gown with a half tied hair. They didn't notice her oncoming presence since they're too engrossed in their conversation.
Then they both look at each other with a meaningful look. Demitri slightly shook his head at her, making sure it's not obvious to the woman who just came.
Rue tried to compose a words, what she would tell to her. Because it's her bestfriend, she know she can't lie to her easily.
"Stop being nosy, Danna." Demitri said straightforwardly, not minding his blunt words.
He is years older than Danna, that explained his rudeness or he's just rude. These are the thoughts that crossed on Rue's mind.
Danna's face frowned. Even she's already used to his rudeness, it didn't fail to provoke her. She then ignored him, and turned her gaze to Rue.
Rue couldn't move at her spot, she also can't tell if she's mad at her or what. Because she just shooed her away when she tried to convince her to return home.
