As soon as Rose fell asleep in his arms, he stood up with her in his arms and proceeded to carry her back to her room. As he raised his head, he came face to face with his mother and sister. He signaled for them to be quiet.
“We heard her scream. Is she alright?" Emily asked worriedly.
“She will be" He said and walked right past them, towards Rose's and Liam's room. He opened the door softly so as not to wake up Liam then gently walked towards the bed and laid her down.
After he had laid her down and tucked her into bed, he stood there and stared at her face that was illuminated by the moonlight. He caressed her face softly before planting a kiss on her forehead.
“Goodnight" he whispered before moving away from her. He stared at her for a while before walking towards the door and leaving the room. He walked towards his room and was surprised to see his mother and sister there, waiting for him.
“Why are you guys in my room?" He walked towards the bed and plumped down on it.
“We wanted to ask what happened," Andrea declared.
“I don't know what happened. When I got there, she was on the floor so I ran towards her" he said with a yawn.
“I guess we will have to ask her tomorrow," Andrea said softly.
“No, don't ask her anything. When she's ready, she will tell us." He said firmly.
“This issue is clearly serious, we can't wait till something bad happens before we question her" Andrea grumbled. Aiden turned to glare at her.
“Your brother is right, she just needs our love and care right now. Let's give her time" Andrea frowned but didn't say anything in return.
“Now go to your room, I want to speak to your brother" Andrea shrugged before walking out of the room. Emily turned to a curious looking Aiden.
“What is it?" He questioned. She moved towards his bed and sat on it.
“You seem to care about Rose," she said softly. Aiden sighed.
“Of course I do, I mean you guys do too" she shook her head at him.
“Not that kind of care, I mean care care" Aiden stared at his mother without answering.
“I know we don't know anything about her but it seems she has been through alot and....."
“I'm not going to hurt her mother" he cut in. Emily smiled at him.
“I know, that's why I'm worried about you".....


“Today, we have physical activities. I hate physical activities" Andrea groaned as they all sat on the table to eat breakfast.
“You are just too lazy," Aiden retorted. She poked out her tongue at him.
“You are just saying that because you love playing basketball and having all those girls chant your name" Andrea fired back with a smirk. Aiden glanced at Rose who was quietly eating her food for a brief second before returning back to Andrea.
“I'm not doing it because of the girls you dumbass" he countered. Andrea rolled her eyes but didn't say anything to him instead she turned to Rose.
“Are you alright Rose?" Her voice was full of concern that it made Rose feel uneasy, she wasn't used to people being concerned for her. She briefly turned to Aiden and saw that he was staring right back at her. She averted her eyes quickly and hid her blush behind her hair.
‘What is happening to me?' she asked herself.
“I'm alright, excuse me I need to use the bathroom" She quickly stood up and ran towards the toilet. Emily turned to glare at Andrea.
“You drove her away now, how is she ever going to open up to us?" Andrea frowned.
“Jeez!!! I was just concerned" she grumbled. Liam smiled at them.
“Don't worry about it, she's fine" Liam assured them. Aiden turned to Liam. Although he was very young, he seemed very smart and responsible for his age, he was happy someone like him was there for Rose.
“What is wrong with you Rose??!!" She asked herself for the millionth time. She stared at herself in the bathroom's mirror. Her cheeks were pink and were slowly Turning red with every thought of Aiden. She slapped her face.
“Stop thinking about him dammit" she cussed herself in her head.
“All men are the same remember?, Don't fall for his trap Rose" she scolded herself. After she had regained her posture, she took a deep breath and opened the door and came face to face with Aiden. She stared back at him with surprise.
“What are you doing in front of the bathroom?Do you want to use it?" She asked him.
“No, You were taking too long in there so I decided to come get you" She stared at him for a minute then she sighed.
“Aiden, let's forget about what happened yesterday, I was in a very weak state and just needed comfort," She said in a hurry. What surprised her was that Aiden smiled back at her.
“You told me not to leave you last night," he said simply.
“I wasn't in the right state of mind, I don't even remember half of what I said" Her heart shook as she spoke. It was a lie, she remembered everything but her admitting it is just like throwing herself down a pit and she wasn't ready for that.
“Do you know that your attitude only motivates me?" He said with a smirk, she glared at him.
“Why won't you leave me alone?" She asked desperately.
“Because yesterday I promised myself I wouldn't, simple as that" He declared.
“Well...now I'm telling you to break that promise" he chuckled.
“I didn't make a promise to you, I made a promise to myself" she scoffed at him.
“You get on my nerves" she said in her monotone voice. Aiden smiled brightly at her.
“Glad to hear I struck a nerve"....
