“What the fuck man, why are ignoring her?,she's going to notice" Steven complained as Aiden walked away from the cafeteria because he saw Rose there. Aiden sighed before turning to Steven.
“Where's Grey and Dylan?" Steven shrugged.
“I don't know, I didn't see them today" Aiden nodded.
“That's better" Steven raised an eyebrow at him as he said that. Aiden waved it off.
“I kissed her...well like a peck" Steven's eyes widened.
“What??!" He half yelled, causing people to turn towards them.
“What are you looking at?" Aiden boomed out. They all scrambled. He turned back to glare at Steven.
“Sorry" he mumbled “But wait... Isn't this something you have always wanted?Why are you ignoring her?" Aiden groaned.
“She pushed me away and ran to the bathroom"
“Yikes," Steven murmured. Aiden glared hard at him.
“Jeez!!" He raised his hands in surrender “But wait, You shouldn't jump to conclusions, Go talk to her"
“So I can get rejected the third time?, no thanks" Aiden walks away. Steven sighs before following behind him.
“I might have pushed him away and ran to the bathroom" Rose confessed as they sat down for Literature. Claire and Andrea widened their eyes at her.
“Why did you do that?" Claire asked. Rose groaned.
“I was embarrassed," Andrea sighed.
“Knowing my brother, he probably thinks you didn't want the kiss and you rejected him" Andrea muttered. They were silent for a while.
“Do you like my brother?" Andrea asked intently.
“I don't know.. but... I don't want him to think I rejected him" Rose murmured.
“Alright, all you need to do is talk to him and tell him you didn't push him away because you didn't want the kiss but because it came as a shock" Claire told her. Rose scratched the back of her head before sighing.
“Alright, I'll talk to him when we get home" They nodded at her before they all turned their attention to the teacher.
Grey gritted his teeth as he listened to the conversation.
“So Aiden already made a move huh?" He chuckled silently.
After literature class, Grey walked up to Aiden's locker and luckily for him, Aiden and Steven were there.
“You guys didn't even bother to look for me" Aiden rolled his eyes at him while Steven smiled and patted his back.
“I thought you didn't come to school," Steven replied.
“I've been around. I heard many things today, you guys want to hear some?" Aiden ignored him while Steven nodded at him. Grey smirked.
“Literature class was pretty boring till Rose and her crew entered the class" Aiden abruptly turned to Grey and narrowed his eyes on him. Grey maintained eye contact with him.
“So you made a move huh?Aiden?" Grey Taunted. Aiden clenched his jaw.
“You better not do it again, she was disgusted by it" Aiden froze at his words. Steven turned to look at Aiden before turning back to Grey.
“That's enough," He muttered. Grey didn't glance at him but rather stared into Aiden's eyes.
“What?I have the right to advise my friend, don't I?" He teased me. Aiden clenched his fist.
“She said she didn't know how to tell you to stop, that's why she just pushed you and ran away to save you from embarrassment" Grey continued. Before Grey could react, Aiden raised his fist and punched him right in the face. Grey fell down to the ground. By now, everyone in the hallway was staring at them.
“Thanks for the Info" Aiden said with a mocking smile before walking away with Steven behind him. Grey looked at the crowd surrounding him.
“What are you looking at?" Scram!!!!!!!" He yelled. Everyone dispersed.
“Mother?!!We are home!!" Andrea yells as soon as they get into the house. Emily walks out of the kitchen with an apron and a spatula.
“Oh, you guys are back early, how was school?" Aiden nods at her before walking up to his room.
“Is something wrong with him?" Emily questioned.
“You should have been in the car, super awkward" Andrea said. Rose sighed before looking around.
“Where's Liam?" She asked.
“He said he was tired so we went up to the room" Emily told her with a smile. She nods before going up to her room.
She closed the door slowly before walking towards Liam. She sat on the bed and caressed his head.
“Is something wrong Liam?" He groaned.
“No, let me sleep" She sighs.
“You normally don't sleep by this time"
“I'm just tired, don't worry about me" He said softly. She bent down and kissed his forehead before tucking him well with the blanket.
“Sleep tight" She leaves the room. As she walked in the hallway, she came across Aiden's room. She contemplated telling him now or later. She inhaled before knocking on the door. When she got no reply, she knocked again but this time more firmly. Aiden doesn't fail to show his surprised face when he sees her.
“Why are you here?" He questioned. She breathed in.
“I want to talk about yesterday," Aiden sighs.
“Look, I didn't mean to....."
“It was a mistake" He interjected. Rose stared at him with wide eyes.
“What?" She uttered.
“I got caught up in the moment, it won't happen again" He said through clenched teeth.
“Oh" She muttered. Silence passed between them.
“I'm glad you see it that way" She finally said. He nodded slowly.
“I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship?" He asked. She shook her head.
“No it doesn't. I'll be leaving now" She turned around and walked away. Aiden runs his hand through his hair before going back into his room.
Rose cussed at herself as she climbed down the stairs.
“I knew he didn't like me," She said to herself.
