“Oh look now, we're too late" Andrea complained as they saw people going in and out of the mall.
“I can't believe people actually leave their house so early in the morning just to come to the mall," Aiden uttered in disbelief. They all got out of the car.
“We have a lot to buy today and a lot of shops to visit. Why don't we split in two?" Claire suggested. Rose and Aiden abruptly turned to her while Andrea gave her a knowing smile.
“You are right, I'll go with you while Rose will go with Aiden" Andrea said.
“That's absurd, why do we have to split up" Rose voiced out.
“To cover more grounds obviously and Claire and I have a lot of clothes to buy, like we are literally going to all the shops but if you'd like to come with us, be my guest" The memory of the last time Rose accompanied Andrea to the mall flashed through her head, she didn't want to experience that again. Andrea smiled as if she could read her thoughts.
“You see? Going with Aiden is a better choice for you" She grabbed Claire's hand.
“See you guys when we're done and Rose, don't be shy to spend Aiden's money, he's going to be a billionaire after all" She waved at them and practically dragged Claire into the mall. Rose shifted from one feet to the other, trying so hard to avoid eye contact with Aiden.
“Shall we go in?" He asked from behind her. She nodded and walked ahead of him. He jogged up to meet her.
“I thought you were comfortable around me?" Aiden questioned.
“That was before I started feeling things I've never felt before" She said to herself.
“I am, I just... Just don't want you to waste your money on me" He chuckled then grabbed her hands and led her into an expensive looking shop. Rose gulped as he felt a tingle where their hands connected.
“Pick whatever you like," Aiden told her as they stood in front of different bags, shoes and clothes. She shook her head.
“They all look expensive," She whispered. He smiled and walked towards a collection of Fendi bags. He picked up a white one and examined it.
“Have this one" He told her. She slowly walked towards him and checked the price, what she saw almost made her vomit blood.
“500$!!! For what? A bag?" She half yelled. One of the female workers walked up to them.
“Is there a problem?"
“This bag is too..."
“We'll take this one" Aiden interjected. Rose looked at him incredulously.
“It's too expensive," She complained. He pinched her cheeks.
“If you keep being cute, I'll buy anyone" She quickly shut her mouth but she couldn't stop the blush that crept up her cheeks. He patted her head with a smile before turning to the worker.
“Please, show us your shoe collection" The worker smiled flirtatiously at him.
“Is she your girlfriend?" The worker asked straightforwardly. Rose looked at her in disbelief.
“Are people this forward in real life?" She asked herself.
“Yes" He pulled Rose to his side “She's right in front of you" Rose froze at his words.the worker's face fell, she turned to Rose and looked at her from head to toe and a smile appeared on her face again, she obviously didn't see Rose as a threat.
“Come with me sir" She said flirtatiously. Rose rolled her eyes at her and turned to Aiden to see if he was looking at the worker but he was staring at her with a smile. She quickly bent down her head as soon as their eyes met.
“I told you to stop being cute, it seems I'll have to buy the whole shop then" She stared at him with wide eyes as he grabbed her hands and followed behind the worker.
“Show us the new shoes that were brought in today" Aiden demanded. The worker nodded and showed him the new collection.
“Why don't you choose from one of these?" He suggested.
“Don't say you can't. come on please, pick one, I want to do this for you" Rose gulped and looked towards the shelves of shoes. She looked for the cheapest one but it wasn't even as cheap as she'd hoped. She took out a white and blue Nike converse shoe and showed it to him. He took it from her.
“You want only this one?" She nodded vigorously. She wanted them to leave this place as soon as possible. He took her hand and led her to a chair.
“Sit" He ordered softly. She stared at him in confusion but did as was told. He bent down and grabbed one of her legs. She gasped and snatched it away from his grasp.
“What do you think you're doing?" She whispered. He smiled at her.
“Let me do this, please" He murmured softly and motioned for her to give him her leg. She looked around the shop and noticed everyone was looking at them. Some with Envy, some with disdain while some were in awe. She turned back to him and saw he was still staring at her with something in his eyes she couldn't identify.
“Okay" She murmured and slowly moved her leg towards him. He smiled happily at her and helped her wear the shoe. He was so gentle and loving that Rose Felt it was getting intimate. She couldn't help but blush when she heard some customers talking about them.
“Wow, what a nice boyfriend, how I wish mine was like that" one said.
“He's so handsome, I wonder where she saw someone like him," Another girl said.
“Yeah especially when she's average, I mean I don't see anything special" one said. Rose frowned then turned to Aiden. She couldn't deny the fact that she looked average compared to him, he was the most handsome guy she had ever seen, so why was he behaving like this towards an average girl like her when he could have any girl he wanted? She sighed.
“I kind of like this feeling," She said to herself.
