Kicking his ball

“Andrea!!!!, We are going to be late" Aiden shouted from the dining table. None of them had seen Andrea this morning.
“Let me go check up on her," Emily said. As she stood up, they saw Andrea grudgingly climbing down the stairs.
“My God, you look awful," Aiden teased. She glared hard at him before turning to Emily.
“Mother, I'm sick," she pouted. Emily quickly walked up to her and touched her forehead.
“Oh my dear, you're burning up. Let's go to the hospital" Andrea hurriedly shook her head.
“Mother I don't want to go to the hospital, let me just rest a little" She whined. Emily sighed.
“Fine but I'll stay here and look over you" Emily said firmly. Andrea shrugged and walked towards the table and sat down.
“Sick people don't eat you know?" Aiden said with a raised eyebrow. Andrea narrowed her eyes at him before turning to Emily.
“Mother!!!Aiden is bullying me!" She complained.
“Aiden, shut up and eat your food" Emily said. Andrea smirked at Aiden triumphantly whereas Aiden just rolled his eyes.
“Are you Alright?" Rose asked worriedly. Andrea smiled at her.
“I'm alright, don't worry, just a simple cold. By the way, where's Liam?" Andrea asked.
“He's using the bathroom," Andrea nodded. Aiden stood up and grabbed his car keys.
“Well then, let's go Rose" Rose stood up and grabbed her bag. She walked up to Liam who was just climbing down the stairs.
“Be good in the hospital alright?, I'll come check up on you after school" He nodded at her as she kissed his forehead.
“Are you going to be okay without Andrea?" Aiden said as he drove. He was trying to create a conversation with Rose.
“Hmm I'm like being alone" She murmured. Aiden frowned.
“That doesn't sound like fun," He said thoughtfully. She shrugged.
As soon as they got to school, she got down from the car and walked quickly towards the school entrance. Aiden stared at her as she walked away.
“Hey Aiden" Steven came up behind him and smacked him on the back. Aiden turned to glare at him.
“Are you nuts!?" He questioned. Steven rolled his eyes.
“Relax, I was trying to snap you out of the trance you were in" Steven replied cockily.
“I wasn't in a trance" Aiden mumbled.
“If you like her so much, why don't you ask her out?" Steven suggested. Aiden shook his head.
“She already friend zoned me" Steven grimaced.
“Ouch....but you can keep trying," Steven smiled at him. Aiden sighed loudly.
“Anyway... where's your sister?" Steven asked.
“She's not well so she stayed at home. I have a feeling she's faking it but who am I to judge. Let's go in" Aiden turned away before he could see Steven's frown. Steven followed Aiden behind silently.
Rose sat in her literature class all alone. Claire didn't come to school too today but she wasn't that bothered about it. She took out her pen and book and scribbled on it. Too engrossed in what she was scribbling, she didn't notice that someone sat next to her.
“Hey" the person beside her said. She flinched a little before lifting up her head slowly, towards the person.
“Do I know you?" She asked curiously, she could have sworn she had seen this face before.
“I'm Aiden's friend, Grey" He announced. She nodded slowly with understanding.
“Hmm nice to meet you Grey" Then she turned her attention back to her book. Not up to ten seconds later, the teacher walked in, Rose turned her attention to her. From the corner of her eye, she could see Grey staring at her with a smile but she ignored him.
“Would you please stop staring at me?I'm trying to listen to the teacher," Rose whispered harshly.
“No I can't"
“Why not?" She turned her attention back to the teacher.
“Because you're beautiful," Grey said simply. Rose choked on her spit before turning to Grey.
“Is there something you guys would like to say to the class?" The teacher spoke before Rose could say anything.
“No ma'am, I was just asking her about a novel," Grey replied.
“Well since you brought that up, I will need the whole class to create a manuscript of a tragic comedy drama and I'm going to assign you a partner" she said then turned to Grey and Rose.
“Since you guys seem to be close, you guys can be partners" Rose's eyes widened. She was about to protest when Grey spoke.
“Sure ma'am, we'll do it" Rose turned to glare at him.
“Good, now focus on my lesson. The rest of you can pick whoever you want" The teacher said and returned back to her lesson. Rose tried her best and succeeded in ignoring Grey throughout the lessons.
As soon as the bell rang, she picked her bag and was about to dash off when Grey held her hand. She turned to him.
“What are you doing?" She dragged her hands away from his. He smiled at her.
“We have an assignment together, isn't it better for us to work on the plot now?" She rolled her eyes and proceeded to walk away.
“Ok that means you want to fail then?" Grey taunted with a raised eyebrow. She groaned before turning to him.
“Meet me in the cafeteria at lunch time, don't be late" she turned away and left. He chuckled before walking out too.

“I'm so hungry, I feel like I've been starving for days" Brian whined as they walked to the cafeteria.
“You are always hungry," Aiden added before turning to Grey.
“By the way, where's Steven?" He asked.
“He said something came up at home and he had to leave urgently" Grey replied. Aiden nodded as they entered the cafeteria.
“Where do you guys want to sit?" Brian asked. Just then, Rose walked into the cafeteria.
“You guys go ahead, I have an assignment to work on" Grey said and walked towards Rose. As soon as she saw him, she rolled her eyes, pulled out her chair and sat down.
“Oh oh, it seems Grey is already kicking his ball" Brian whispered to Aiden as Aiden glared at the scene in front of him.
