"Ow!" Eleanor winced loudly in pain as she sat on the bed as gently as she could. "Sorry, sorry." Gwen said, letting out a heavy breath. "Dear gods, that was not easy at all." "Sorry," Eleanor apologized, staring at her with concern. "Nah, it's okay. Ehh, I'll go get something for you to eat now." "Okay." Eleanor replied as Gwen stood up from the bed and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her. "Hmmph." Eleanor let out a deep breath, staring at the window. It's really hard being this way, she can't move freely like she used to, for the fear that she might hurt her head. That princess is definitely a very wicked one. She never expected her to do this. The prince still doesn't love her so what's the point of this. Eleanor suddenly remembered when the prince came to her yesterday. It's a relief he doesn't hate her, she actually thought he'd be happy that she's dying. Her hand unconsciously went to her forehead where he planted a kiss yesterday, rubbing it softly. He still loves her, it was so obvious. And maybe she also loves him, she actually does love him. But it's so risky. She hasn't admitted her feelings for him and this is already happening. Sabrina would definitely kill her if she finds out. Or maybe the prince can protect her. Like in those fairytale books she reads, the prince charming wouy always protect his lover and they always live happily ever after. Eleanor slapped her forehead lightly at her silly thought, she winced immediately as she felt pain spread around her head. Dear gods, she almost forgot that. This is real life, not those fairytale books. She might end up dead and there would be no justice. Eleanor groaned loudly, angry at the fact that she was confused. Is this what falling in love feels like? She really loves the prince but it's hard staying away. It's hard trying to pretend like she's not. Maybe she should risk it, maybe she should confess her feelings to him. Maybe he can actually protect her, and maybe everything would be fine. Like they say, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Eleanor took a deep breath, resting her head against the headboard. She's sure to be having grey hair at her young age, from how much trouble and thinking she's been into. Eleanor chuckled at her silly thought. Immediately, the door went open and Gwen stepped inside staring at Eleanor in confusion and suprise. "What's making you laugh?" "Nothing, I was thinking." Eleanor replied, twisting her fingers together. "About what?" Gwen asked and closed the door, walking fully into the room. She dropped the tray of food on the table and drew out a chair to sit. "About what has been happening." "Hmm." Gwen hummed and began uncovering the plates. "What is that?" Eleanor asked, staring at the weird looking brown soup with her face scrunched. "Oh, this?" Gwen asked, pointing at the soup. "It's a soup made by Madam Helen, she said it'll help you heal faster." "Oh... Okay." Eleanor replied, though her eyes were filled with uncertainty. "Actually, I'm not supposed to tell you this but... Ehhh.. Madam Helen added some of your herbs to it." Gwen revealed. "What!!" Eleanor yelled in shock, her face scrunched in disgust, staring at the soup like it's her worst nightmare. "Come on, eat up." Gwen urged her, her lips stretched into a grin. Oh dear gods! * * Queen Ariel stood in the balcony, staring around the palace and the entire kingdom. She heaved out a deep breath when she heard footsteps behind her. "Mother." Sabrina called as she approached the Queen, she stood behind her and took a quick bow. "Sabrina, how have you been?" The Queen asked turning to stare at for a few seconds before turning back to keep staring around the palace. "I've been really good mother." Sabrina replied with a smile. The Queen nodded, not saying a word. "Really happy huh? You know, I don't need a sorcerer to tell me you were the one behind that slave's accident." The Queen revealed, turning to stare at Sabrina with her brows quirked. "You know quite well, mother." Sabrina agreed with a smirk. "Why did you do it?" The Queen asked with a serious look on her face. "Huh?" Sabrina furrowed her brows in confusion at the Queen's sudden change of mood. "Yes Sabrina, why did you do it?" The Queen asked again. "Well, Mother, I had to. I heard those two slaves talking about him. He kissed her mother. He kissed her!" It was the Queen's turn to stare at Sabrina with shock and suprise evident on her face. "What.. what did you just say?" "Yes mother. He kissed her, he told her he loves her! He kissed a slave mother and even told her he loves her!" Sabrina yelled in anger. "Oh my god." The Queen muttered under her breath , her eyes widened in shock. "I had no choice, mother, I had to do it. I was so mad mother, he's getting married to me not that stupid slave, so why would he do that. All that attention and confession was supposed to be for me, not that thing!" Sabrina yelled in fury, tears already clouding her eyes as her chest heaved heavily. "I.. I don't know what to say Sabrina. This is really absurd." The Queen was confused, as she was still in shock at the new information. "And what happened to 'everything would be fine!' What happened to 'I'll do something about it' what happened to all of it!" "I'm truly sorry Sabrina, you have every right to be mad. You know what, I'm going to tell the King about it. I'm sure he'd do something about it." The Queen reassured her. "They're all empty promises, mother. You gave me your word mother but yet.. yet? Nothing has been done." Sabrina said tearfully. "Trust me this last time Sabrina. I'll do something about it and even if I can't, the King will." "Just this last time." Sabrina said, using her hand to wipe the tears off her face before she turned around and walked out of the balcony. Ariel took a deep breath, resting her hands on the railings. Can Luciano really do something like that? Ariel wouldn't lie, she finds it really hard to believe all that Sabrina said. She knows Luciano well and she trusts him, right? She shook her head to get rid of all thoughts. Sabrina might be lying, maybe she just wants them to hurry up with the wedding preparations. She trusts her son, he'd never do something like that. He would NEVER.
