"Don't you think we should tell the prince about this?" Gwen suggested with a glint of hope in her eyes. "The prince?" "Yes of course! Prince Luciano." "But what would he do?" Eleanor asked in uncertainty. "Come on." He might do something about it. He has been helping us for the past few weeks. He will surely help us now." Gwen insisted, holding her hands reassuringly. "You think so?" Eleanor asked in uncertainty. "I'm sure of this Eleanor, come on. Go!" Gwen urged. "Okay." Eleanor replied, nodding vigorously. She was right after all, he has been helping them a lot, he would do now. Even if it's just for a little while. * "Are you really gonna do it?" Ariel suddenly asked out of the blues, making the king knit his brows in confusion. "Do what?" He asked, utterly confused. "Are you really gonna kill her?" She asked, wiggling her brows at him. "Why're you asking that?" "Huh, I thought that was just a fake threat. You're not really gonna kill her, are you?" She must've thought it was a mere threat. Hell! She never thought he was so serious about it. "I would do anything to have my son back Ariel, even if it requires destroying an entire kingdom." The king spoke vehemently. Ariel nodded slowly before shrugging her shoulders. Not like she cares anyways. Besides, she also planned on making that slave suffer. It's all for their son. There's no problem with that. * Eleanor squeezed her fingers together as she climbed up the last flight of stairs leading to the hallway, to the Prince's room. She was scared. Well, maybe because she had a lot of negative thoughts running through her mind. What if he can't do anything about it and she ends up being killed? What will happen to the remaining people of Narva? Would they ever be free? Oh dear gods! Please help her. Eleanor muttered a few prayers under her breath and took in a deep breath summoning all the courage she could and walked into the hallway, headed for the Prince's room. Eleanor rubbed her palm tiger as the guard pushed the door open for her. She walked into the room, heaving out a deep breath as he shut the door. "Hey." Luciano looked up from the book he was reading, flashing her a warm smile. Heavens know she would have burst out laughing at his unusual smile if her life wasn't on a thin line now. "Hey." She replied in a low voice, walking further into the room. "Are you okay? You look worried." He closed the book before him, turning his full attention to her. He could easily sense there was something wrong with her, even though she tries to hide it. Her face was pale, she looked scared and it worried him a lot. These past weeks, he's done everything in his power to make her happy again, to see her smile. Now seeing her sad and scared broke his heart. "Well, maybe because I am." She replied, shrugging her shoulders and let out a sat chuckle, sitting on the chair opposite him, with her hands folded on her laps. "Hey, what's wrong?" He leaned against the table, stretching out his hands on it. Eleanor swallowed a heavy lump down her throat before replying. "It's.... It's the king...I mean your father...he.." She closed her eyes, taking in a deep shaky breath as she stutt helplessly out of fear. "What did he do?" Luciano's voice changed into a deep cold voice. No wonders she was looking so scared and pale. He must've said something to make her this way. "He..he." She swallowed a heavy lump down her throat as tears began clouding her eyes, small sobs already escaping her throat. "He said he would kill me if I don't get to make you renounce your love for me." * * Sabrina whistled to an unending song as she stood in the balcony of her room, staring around the castle and the village. There was a tingling sensation running through her veins. She was happy and bubbling with excitement she coiy barely contain. Well, it was obviously because one person, who has always been a pain in her neck, was finally getting what she deserves. And she? She finally gets to live in peace and assurance that her plan is working perfectly. She stretched out her hands, smirking triumphantly as the maids handed a cup of red wine to her. They would serve her. The entire kingdom would serve her, just like the little puppets behind her . They would listen to her. She would be feared by all. Her name would linger on their lips with fear. They would do just as she says, because she would be their queen. Queen Sabrina. No one would stop her. Whosoever that would try to, would end up just like that greedy slave would, just in a few weeks time. * * Luciano went gobsmacked for a moment. Of all the thiy he thought his father might use to threaten her,he never thought of that. "What?" He almost couldn't believe his ears. This was outrageous. "This is serious Luciano, he threatened to kill me. He said, ``If I don't get you to renounce your love for me within two weeks, he'll kill me." Eleanor cried out, unable to keep the tears at bay. For the first time in a long time, Luciano felt his heart clench in pain. His father knew exactly what he was doing. He was putting them in a trap. He was putting them in a situation where they had less choices. "Luciano please, you have to do something." He stood up from his chair and walked to her, moving her chair to face him as he crouched down before her, taking her hands into his. "Luciano." Eleanor called in a low voice, almost like a whisper. "You love me right?" She sniffed when he nodded. "You have to do this. If you love me, you're not going to let me die." She said, looking straight into his eyes. "This is the only way to protect me, you have to do this." She added, as guw expression was less convincing. Luciano stared into her eyes affectionately, raising his hands to move her hair from her face before he took her palm into his, squeezing it softly. "Every love story always has conflicts, and every love story has a happy ending." He squeezed her hands once more before adding in a determined voice. "I'm not doing that Elly, I'm never renouncing my love for you."
