Luciano stared at his father intently before answering in a cold voice. "About Sabrina." Axel cleared his throat sitting up on the chair. "What about her?" "I'm rejecting her." Luciano stated firmly. "Huh?" The king quirked his brows at him questioningly. "Yes father. You can find me another bride other than Sabrina. I'm rejecting her, there's no way I'm marrying a bitch like her." "Don't speak of her in such a manner , Luciano!" The king snapped immediately. "Sabrina is a nice girl, well raised and of very good behavior." "Very good behavior, you say. Look father, there's no way I'm getting married to a slut like Sabrina!" "Don't say that Luciano! Sabrina is no slut! You would not speak of her in such ma-" "And how do you know that?!" Luciano suddenly snapped, cutting his father off. "How do you know she's no slut father?! Come on, don't tell me that! Everyone knows who she is father! She's every man's wife! That girl has no good legacy father! So there's no way I would marry her." "All those are rumors Luciano. Sabrina is none of those things you call her. Look at her, she's happy and smiles all the time-" "Don't be deceived by those smiles, father, they are mere facades." Luciano snapped angrily. "I've made up my mind, father, I'm never getting married to her." "You should have said that a long time ago, Luciano. The decision has been taken. You're marrying Sabrina whether you like it or not." "This is-" "I believe this conversation is over Luciano. Now leave." "It's not over father, I-" "It is. Get out." Luciano glared daggers at the king breathing heavily. "This is not over." He concluded, turning around and storming out of the room. * * "How do I look?" Sabrina asked her maids, twirling in front of the mirror. "You look beautiful Princess." Berta complimented keeping her head down. "Just beautiful?!" Sabrina snapped, eyeing her disdainfully. "No! Sorry my princess! You look gorgeous and you look prettier than every maiden I've ever seen, including me!" Sabrina smirked at herself in the mirror, twirling a strand of her blonde hair around her finger. "Very soon, just very soon, that would change. I'd be referred to as the Queen." She chuckled humorlessly and left the room with her maids trailing behind her. She climbed up the stairs to the upper floor. She walked into the hallway leading to Luciano's room. She walked straight to the door and was about to push it open when one of the guards standing there stretched his hand out obstructing her. Sabrina glared hard at the guard and tried to open the door again but the other blocked her way. "What the hell is wrong with the both of you?" She snapped angrily glaring daggers at them. "The Prince didn't tell us he's expecting anybody. He wouldn't like to be disturbed now." Sabrina chuckled humorlessly before speaking through gritted teeth. "Well, I wanna see him so get out of the way before I report such insolence to the King." Killian and Evander glanced at each other unsurely before Killian let out a sign and finally opened the door. Sabrina smiled and walked into the room, her maids waiting outside. * * Eleanor had woken up today with a headache. She had worked hard the previous day and had gone to bed totally worn out. It felt like the arrival of the Princess only brought much work. She felt a little better when Madam Helen gave her some herbs that helped reduce the pain. She'd be forever grateful to that woman for all the help she has rendered to her and all the people of Narva. Madam Helen reminded her of her mother, her ever caring mother who is always ready to give up the whole world for her. She really misses her mother. If she did not die, she would have been here to encourage her. She would have been here to tell her that everything would be alright. She would have been here to give her those heart warming smiles. She never imagined ever living without her mother, but she just has to take whatever life throws at her. Currently, she's at the Prince's room. She has finished sweeping and arranging the room. She heaved a sigh of relief and walked to the middle of the room and stood still bowing her head. Cleaning the room has never been easy for her. Ever since she got here, the prince stood by the table with his back resting on the wall and his left foot staring intently at her. It wasn't one of his usual glares, he heard this look that she can't quite understand. It was like he's trying to look into her soul to see and read all of her secrets. While she was cleaning, he would severally let out signs and would look at her with little concern in his eyes. And each time she tries to look at him to try to figure out what he's thinking, his face suddenly becomes expressionless making it hard to even read anything. She can't quite understand him. He's just hard to read. Eleanor bowed her head awaiting his command. "About what happened the other-" He started but what cut off when the door went open and Sabrina stepped in. She stopped on her tracks, staring at the both of them like she was inspecting them. She turned away from Eleanor and walked towards Luciano with a smile on her face. "Luciano," She called in acknowledgement. "What do you want?" Luciano asked in a very cold voice glaring hard at her. "Ugh, don't be mean." Sabrina snickered, waving her hands dismissively. "Is it bad if I come to see my husband to be?" She raised her brows at him questioningly. "Get out. I'm busy." Luciano growled. "Busy doing what?" She turned around and stared at Eleanor. "Oh, the slave." She walked to Eleanor and stood in front of her with just a few meters separating them. "Who the hell are you?" Luciano stood off the wall and walked to the front of the table and stood still staring coldly at Sabrina. "She's none of your business Sabrina. Now leave." "You're pushing me out because of this wretched slave? Huh?" She turned to face Luciano, quirking an eyebrow at him. "You're really sending me out because of some god forsaken slave, a stupid slav-" "Eleanor," "Huh?" She turned to face Eleanor, who was staring at her eye to eye. "My name's Eleanor not slave." She repeated, staring boldly at her. "You don't talk when I'm talking you damn slave." She raised her hands in the air to smack Eleanor's face when she felt a large hand grip hers. She turned in shock to stare at Luciano who held her hand, staring down at coldly. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" He hissed out staring down at her. Sabrina dragged her hands from his glaring at him. "Doing what somebody else should have done to this wretched thing." She replied through gritted teeth. "Leave while you can Sabrina." Sabrina's chest heaved as she breathed heavily trying to control her anger. "This is not over." She glared at the both of them before storming out of the room
