“You’re not eating that? You’re not letting it pass down your palette?” Calli’s teeth appeared as she smiled at Galen, still remembering the old days when he used to look like that although he is older now.
“You can have this.” He pushed the plate on her.
She shrugged in return in dipped her spoon at the dessert. “Well- what happened? I never see you look so problematic until now?”
He didn’t respond at her. He was fuming inside when he saw the scene yesterday. All of his ability to think rationally was out in the window. He didn’t like it.
“They hugged each other.” It came out wrong. His eyes went big when he realized it.
Calli’s smiled grew wider at him. “Really?
And? You did not try to break them apart?”
She was shaking her head after her words. “I think you should’ve done it. I’d like to hear that from you next time, Galen.” She ended it in a soft voice.
“It reminds me of the old days, when you were jealous.” Her eyes sparkled upon her mention of it.

Flashback
They put their bags on the chairs. Calli waited for them to end their practice. She got Galen what she promised; she brought him to the alfresco restaurant she knew.
“What do you think of the place?” She’s settled. She stared at the boys while both of her arms are on the table. Her cheeks being held by both of her hands, her eyes stared at the person in front of him.
“I like it.” Martin answered.
Ehaan and Cloud only stared at him in return.
“What??” He raised his tone at them.
“The question is not for you, dude.” Ehaan answered.
Cloud rolled his eyes at Martin. Martin frowned at him. Calli was giggling.
“I’m sorry.” She was still in giggles. “The question isfor all of you.”
“Really?” Ehaan raised his brows in question. “I thought it’s meant for a specific someone.”
His eyes went towards Galen.
He was silent. Exasperation came inside him. He couldn’t nudged what he saw as something unpleasant. His heart still harbors loyalty and is loyal to one person. It’s only beating eratically for Azaiah,
Calli’s soft gazed are on him. And Ehaan is currently eyeing him, his gaze too is soft.
Cloud was busy looking at what’s on the menu. While Martin is making bickerings at him with his utterances.
“He’s having problems.” Ehaan said.
Calli nodded her head at him. “Do you think he needs help?”
Ehaan’s face turned serious. “How about you? You don’t need any form of assistance?” He simply asked.
But Calli’s expression showed that she did not get him. “What do you mean? I…” She stopped to access. “I don’t have problems, Ehaan. I am not problematic.”
“And Martin is.” Cloud intervened with his words for Martin.
That stopped Martin from blabbering. “A what?” He didn’t clearly hear what he said.
“Order anything you like. I’ll just pay for it.” Galen was tired. The air’s fresh because it’s an open place. But this couldn’t help him. He needs some time alone.
“You sure?” Calli liked what he said. She began scanning and starts looking for what she wants. “I’ll get what I want then since you’re going to pay for it.”
He simply tilted his head and gave her a slight nod. He wasn’t feeling the need to fill his stomach with something. He stared at the trees instead. His mind is now starting to wander elsewhere.
His father saw how his mother is with a man. It was sudden. And Galen is trying his best hide the emotions that are trying to cloud his vision. No hint of his feelings are shown in his eyes right now. It looked cold.
“Leave me alone.”
His mother is wriggling her wrist. Her other hand trying to pull the tight grip of his father's hand wrapped around her wrist. Ajax stood there and watch the scene that is in front of him.
His father acted like she did not hear her protest and pulled her along with him and went straightly to the car. Pulling her wrist back. Ajax waited. His father opened the car harshly. His eyes went towards the stray cat. Then he went to looked at their family driver who looks like he's been done with whatever is going on between his parents.
“We are you going? Get in the car!!” It sounded like a roar out of his father's mouth.
Ajax remained unfazed even after the shout. His mother—she starts weeping. She then harshly put her hands on her face and removed her tears with her fingers. She's staring at the man in anger.
“Is this what you've been waiting for am I right? Why are you so mad about now that I do the same thing you've been doing behind my back for years? You have no right to be mad about me being with a man. I love him..”
She was wailing at him, dramatically.
“Yoiu are not in love with him!” He shouted back at her with an equal anger. His face is red, and the nerves on his forehead is obviously peeping wanting to get out because of his anger that he felt.
Then they started arguing. And Ajax doesn't know what to do with it.
His dad was questioning and his mother's answer.
“Aren't you happy I'll be finally gone and that you can finally pursue Amelia.” She scoffed at him. She purposely said her name to taunt him. She had the right to accuse him with such insolence.
“Leave her name out of this. This is between us.” The man is trying to fight the urge of trying to raise his voice at her once again.
The woman scoffed. She then went towards the car and turned her back at the man without saying anything. Harsh breathing came from his father's mouth. And Ajax stared at them before he followed her mom through.
The ride was silent. They were all sitting in the car waiting to arrived at their destination. His mother held is hand. It was a firm hold.
“Galen you should stay away from her. She is no good for you. She is not for you, my child. There is someone else that is better.”
Quivers came while she was muttering her words. She was clenching her teeth letting it mesh to bump each other in anger.
Galen had a tight look on his face. He knows who she is reffering too. He stared at his mother in disbelief. He needs to not dragged Azaiah in this type of mess.
