Chapter 65 Interrupted

Ehaan's father interrupted.
“Aldelram. Take your wife home before she'll start creating more ruckus in here that can possibly ruin the night of our guests.” He told Galen's father to take her wife home before she'll fully lose her mind. He is concern for his guests and it's a form of controlling more damage to the situation.
Galen's mother started glaring with flames on her eyes. She started ranting in an impassioned way at him. “You think I'm crazy? Just because she said it?” She still includes Amelia in the situation. That woman finds her crazy.
She scoffed dwelling on her hatred to being treated unfairly. "That woman is fooling you all. She has y'all under her hands. That witch is a great one for seducing my husband. Again.. For the second time.” Her eyes then rolled in a specified bore at the thought of Azaiah's mother.
Galen's father put her in a strong hold hoping to stop her from saying more foolish things in her mouth. Hi grip strong.
“Enough, Corvina. You're actions are embarrassing.”He still managed to not shout at her. “Stop this madness already.” His words are firmly said to his wife. His voice flat.
Her eyes changed. She looked hurt at what her husband said to her. She was making twist with her gripped hands. “You're hurting me.” She croaked. She then tried to cry. But stopped herself midway and throw a glare to his husband.
Galen stepped in to stop his father. His mother squirmed and went to hold him. She hugged him. His father shook his head.
"I aplogized for tonights commotion, Montez.” He called the man using his surname instead." We'll go now.” He gestured at Galen that they should leave.
Galen nodded his head at his father while still wrapping his arms on her mother. He stared at Cloud. Cloud nodded at him. Calli beside Cloud made an expression urging him to go.
He then walked out while his mother is in his arms. They went to the parking lot. His father opened the car door. Galen encouraged her to went inside the car.
His eyes were on the parking lot. He saw Azaiah on the car. The window was open. She was crying. Something inside him tugged. He then went inside the car immediately after seeing her leave. His father was eyeing him as he was seated. They met gazes. He then break it off and stared at his mother who's silently crying.
He recalled the exchanged of words that happened between his mother and Amelia. He's more worried on Azaiah. His mother's words hurt her. He was reminded of what spwed out of Amelia's mouth after his mother said the insults. He doesn't care about what Amelia said. He would like to view it as a spur of anger moment that's why she was able to say something like these. His mother's words hurt her and her child. And she was putting a fair fight even it ended up hurting his mother and him too because she's his mother's son.
Him untightening his tie a bit. He's feeling like he was in a choke hold.
They were home.
His eyes lingered towards his mother. His mother, she'd calmed down.
The maids were there upon their enter. He went to the woman that's standing near him
"Should warm the water up for my mother to bathe in.” He said at to the maid.
Her mother lightly hold his hand. “I can do it.” Her mother said, stopping the maid from going upstairs. She went to follow and the maid escorted her in their room.
Galen sighed exhales through his mouth. His chest moved into a lowered level. Massaging his the bridge of his nose, he's feeling the stress because of the disturbance.
He wasn't able to notice his father walking towards his. Be lifted his head to turn it to the side. His father looked calm this time.
"We need to talk son.” He was asked by his father that they need to talk.
Galen nodded his head.
His father situated to post himself to his seat. Hands clasp together looking like he was ready to scheme something. He stared at his son who's in front of him.
“I know that you've always like that girl.” He started talking. “I've stopped you back then because of what happened to your mother and I's past in connection to her mother.” He looked like he's trying to remember the days. “I tried to stop you early because I don't want you to get involved.”
He despised Amelia. "I hated her mother.” That was his reason when he stopped his son from befriending Azaiah as to which his son couldn't resist. He still did what was reprimanded of him.
“She fooled me. And our families.” He continued. He stopped and check on his son who's listening.
"But I can see how things are differ this time. You and her were different from us.” He saw
his son's action towards Azaiah.
He leaned his head towards his hand for support." But this is not the right time for you and her.” It's not the right time for his son to pursue the girl.
“You shoud try to forget her for a bit. In order for her to not get dragged to the mess that's happening to our family.” His wife was acting insanely. Her mind is not in the right state. Her head is all over the place and she's behaving strangely.
“She would definitely not like it if she she'll know about your plans of pursuing Amelia's daughter.” What's worse is her trying to intervene. Who knows what she'll do to Amelia's daughter, Azaiah.
“How about Azaiah's mother? Aren't you afraid of her disliking me?”
Galen's father shook his head. “I know Amelia isn't like that.”
Galen silently agreeing. Amelia is well-composed. She can aim higher especially when it comes to reactions. She isn't someone driven by emotion. She's stragetic and full of objectivity. She has a sense of good judgment. In between the good and the bad. She knows how to act accordingly.
He went to bed thinking about Azaiah again. He was worried about her.
He sighed. With his arms being laid open on top of the bed he was staring at the ceiling with a throbbing head. He thinks he got the headache from what had happened earlier.
He can't help it. May be intentional or unintentional he hurt Azaiah.
“She deserves someone better.” He shook his head after hearing himself. It's either him or anyone else. His eyes were pointing glares at the ceiling upon the thought he had.
It can't happen. It won't happen.
He gave himself the silential reassurance.
