She went to the veranda. She entered the hotel and saw him sitting. She was wearing a white dress, with pearls on her neck. Her long hair is on loose. She smothered it with her fingers. With her stilettos that had pearls in it too. She walked towards him.
Ajax lifted his head. “Azaiah.” He said it almost breathless.
She finally smiled at him. But it's civil. She went closer and Ajax is supposed to stand. But she stopped him.
"It's okay.” She said before Ajax can do something. She pulled herself a chair. “This place looks good.” She looked around and gave compliments about the place.
“Indeed. This place is beautiful.” Ajax said something too.
She stared at him. Comparing what he looked and now. She smiled. He's features are more upgraded. Ajax stared at him. A little bit nervous.
“Shall we order.” She said.
“Oh yes.” He said. A bit husky.
They opened the menu. She stared at the food. And ordered one. Ajax was staring at her she looked at the waiter and called him through a gesture.
They said their orders.
And now there's another silence that followed them.
"I'm sorry.” They both said.
Ajax looked at her. “Ladies first.”
Azaiah leaned her head and smiled. "I'm sorry about what happened. It was disrespectful as I disregard your request to talk to me.”
"No Azaiah. I completely understand.” He can't get his eyes off her.
She then remembered the times on how she wanted to get over him while meeting his stare.
“I'm sorry too.” He said. It was him who is supposed to apologized.
“I understand that you have your own reasons on doing it to me. If we only talked... You know I would've listened to every single one of whats haunting your head.” She said it in a cut throat tone.
She took a soft inhale while straightening herself sitting pose. "You were never that honest in stating your reasons. Distance was your greatest answer. You could've told me everything but you didn't.” She caught herself exerting too much emotion. She stilled on her seat.
Looking him straight in the eyes she said. “We were friends, Ajax Galen.” She called him by his name.
Ajax eyes turned a bit reddish. “I'm sorry, Azaiah.”
“You left me, in the dark Galen. You've added more salt to the wounds. It deeply scarred me.” She then smiled. She remembered her strength.
“But I've healed them. But the scars were still there. But I just want to let you know. That I loved the scars. Because it showed me how resilient I am despite being hurt.” She added.
“Azaiah.” He calls her name. He said it almost too gentle.
“But Galen. I'm okay with you apologizing. But I don't want to hear your reasons now.” She said honestly.
Ajax was now rooted in his seat. His expression looked sullen.
“I would love to keep it that way. Let's not open the gateway to what's been done. It was all in the past Galen. We shouldn't dig it up and bring it to the surface. Now that things are completely different in our lives.” She stared at the waiter, smiled and say thank you.
“But I want a fresh start.” She managed to croaked it enthusiastically. If only Ehaan is here. Her mind said.
Ajax was pursing his lips. He was thinking and then a look of him agreeing appeared on his face.
“So, let's introduce ourselves again to each other embodying the self that we have now.” She said while smiling.
Extending her hand she stared at him.
"I'm Sigrid Azaiah Macaluso.”
Ajax looking a bit sullen but still managed to smile to her enthusiasm.
“Ajax, I'm Ajax Galen Sullivan.”

Ehaan wa inside his office together with Martin and Ajax, and Calli was there too.
Azaiah entered and went in. She saw them. And she smiled before her eyes landed to Ehaan.Ehaan stood from his seat. And went to her. She went to him and he pulled her close. Planting a kiss on her head she stared at him and gave him a kissed on the cheek.
Ajax's eyes were on them. Calli and Martin looking at each other.
“I've had the wedding plans in here.” She said casually. She handed it to Ehaan.
“I'm sure you did your best.” Ehaan looked at her proudly.
“It was all blood, sweat, and tears Ehaan.” She answered him.
Ehaan nodded.
“Am I?” She stared at the people and back at him. “Interrupting something?” Her voice is sweet and calm.
“No we're just reading the papers. And sharing ideas.”
Azaiah nodded. “Then I'll have to go. Cloud and Evie are waiting for me.”
Ehaan nodded.
She then smiled at them. "I'll go ahead. And walked towards the door.
Martin smiled and Calli too. She eyed Ajax and he just stared at him his gaze seeping through her. She smiled before walking out.
"We should probably extend our congratulations. Martin started.
“Uhh yes. We should.” Calli let go of the papers. She was happy, hyper.
Ehaan stared at them and grinned. Ajax is rooted in his seat. Then his eyes were on him.
Ehaan then stared at them. “There's no need. Its not us who's getting married.”
Calli looked like she's processing things. And then smiled again. “Oh, oh I thought.” She stared at Martin. "I'm sorry Ehaan.”
“Yeah, sorry duded. I thought it's the two of you who are getting married when she said about the wedding plans.”
Ehaan smiled and went to his seat. “If only.” He said something in his breath. And looked away and stared at the glass window that has the full display on what's outside the tower.
Ajax stared at him. He looks like he's in deep thinking.
"But you two have plans?” He uttered and stared at Ehaan who looked at him too with a surprised reaction.

Cloud and Evie were helping Azaiah with the designs. Evie was asking about Ajax. Azaiah share some things.
Cloud just listened.
“You didn't give him the chance to explain.” Evie whined. Her tone is pitchy.
Cloud stared curiously at the two girls waiting for their next exchange of words.
“Evie, if he wanted he could've.” Azaiah said. “And besides I have been waiting for him to talk and say it back when we were younger.”
“But don't you need those answers? You need those to have closure and to gain clarity. A chapter isn't closed if it doesn't have a clarity.”Evie said.
Cloud and Azaiah both stare at each other. Azaiaha laughed and Cloud suppressed a chuckle.
“Since when did you became philosophical?” Azaiah smirked.
Evie made a face. “Oh c'mon. You could've gave him a chance to explain it. No matter how lengthy it is.”
“I don't need it anymore, Evie.” She said seriously.
Evie smiled. “If that's what you want. Besides you're fine now. Look at you. You're successful independent, and rich.” Evie chuckled.
“But the riches will be multiplied if you're with someone who's rich too.” She added.
“Evie” Azaiah said.
“She is insinuating something.”Cloud cleared.
Azaiah smiled. Evie chuckled sheepishly.
A landed slap on the shoulder came to Cloud.
“Oh honey, you're keeping notes on me huh.” Evie smirked.
Cloud scotted to the other side. And frowned at her.
She went to him and pinch his cheeks. “You're really cute.” She squished them.
Azaiah laughed at them. Oh wait. She said to herself. She then remembered something.
“I saw Casimir. He gave me these. He wanted to give them to you.”
Evi raised her eyebrows. “Really?” She said. She squinted her eyes and opened the box. “Oh wow. It's the earrings I've been wanting to buy last week.”
“We saw each other on the shop.” She explained. “I wasn't able to buy it. Since I've been repridmaning myself to buy expensive stuffs these days.”
“Why are you even doing that?” Azaiah asked. “You got money.”
“Oh Sigrid. I have been wanting to get a degree on business. And I wanted to go back to school.”
Azaiah'S face lit up. “Wow! That's a nice plan. I'm happy for you Evie.”
Evie made some flippings of her hair. She then shrugged her shoulders. “I know right. I've been wanting to do that. Since I really wanted to have my part in co-handling our business with my sister.”
Azaiah nodded and smiled at her friend.
Cloud was silent.
Evie stared at him and linked her arms on him. “You don't want to congratulate me?”
Cloud stared at him blankly. He face a bit cranky. “Congratulations Evie.” He said in a monotonous tone.
Evie untangled her arms on him. "Where's the happiness?”
Cloud went on serious mode and looked at her. “Let's go to the shop.”
Evie squinted at him. “What???”
“To the shop were the jewelry is bought. ” He pointed at the box that was given to Evie.
“This” She showed him the box.
Cloud nodded.
“Why?”
“Because I want us to go there and buy you a new one.” He said.
