At 5:00 o'clock in the morning, we decided to leave. I took a bath first while Gail was busy preparing her things. When I finished, she's already done with her thing. I wore a simple shory and t-shirt. Gail is wearing simple clothes too. And guess what? Gail and I have a matching slippers. I laughed when she gave it to me earlier. She said, she saw it on a store along the way. We look like sisters. And she likes that so much. 
After we finished we decided to go outside. Everyone's there waiting for us. The sun is almost rising so we made sure we left before that. 
I am with Ram and Gail on a car. While Lucas, Uno, and the other men is on a Van. I don't know why he decided to be with the others but I refused to ask questions. 
"Vy, tell me the truth," Gail said in the middle of silence.
"Do you and Lucas have a problem?"she asked raising an eyebrow. I glanced at Ram who's still looking at the road.
"Nothing," I answered simple.
"Tell me the trurth. What happened while I'm away? You think I won't notice? He's been ignoring you eversince he picked us up at home," she said continuously. I am trying to signal her to stop so Ram wouldn't hear her. He might misunderstood us.
"Stop with your signals, Veronica. When I asked him on my condo in Manila, he didn't answer. I asked him again earlier when we arrived, he refused to answer again. And then, at breakfast he looks I don't knos, mad or whatever. He looks problematic and mad at you," she said pointing it out.
I rolled my eyes at her, she doesn't care who could hear us. She's not gonna sgop unless I'll give her answers. I glanced at Ram again who still looks unbothered and uninterested of whatever we're talking about.
I took a deep breathe and look at my friend, "We're fine. I just don't know what the problem is. We already talk about it Gail, but I couldn't understand it yet. I'm confused that's why I couldn't answer your questions."
"You know what, sometimes you really are out of your mind," she rolled her eyes at me and looked at the window.
I didn't say anything anymore. I just put all of my attention on the window and watch the scenery. Now, I'm starting to think of the conversation I had with Lucas last night, again. 
We were quiet until we reach the port. We rode a huge yate going to their Island.
Lucas guided me while Ram is guiding Gail. I felt his hand find its way on my waist and I felt shivers. I glanced at him but he's looking away. 
I looked at Gail and she's already looking at me teasingly. I shook my head in disbelief. They're both crazy I guess.
The sailing is comfortable. Gail is busy taking pictures while I remained silent while enjoying the view. Lucas is behind me, with his hand still in my waist.
I missed how he act this way. He's like protecting me and ready to guard me anytime.
He slowly gathered my hair and put it on my right shoulder. I could feel him nearing me more. And then he put his chin on my other shoulder like he used to do when we were in Batangas.
I closed my eyes and feel the fresh air, it's even more relaxing now because he's so closed to me.
I felt his arms around mine, hugging me after a while of staying on our first position. This is one of my favorite move of him, hugging me from the back. I felt secured and safe. It feels like no matter what happens, no matter problems I will be facing he's behind me ready to guide and protect me whenever he needs too. 
"I wanted to stay away from you, I wanted to put myself on my place but I couldn't help myself from coming close to you. I'm sorry but I can't let him take you away from me. I won't let him," he whispered that made me shiver. 
"I'm so damn, damn in love with you," he said as he make me turn to face him. He looked serious but soft at the same time. He's like the Lucas I first met, the Lucas I used to ignore because of my unnamed fear.
I didn't know how to react or say. Everything that he said echoed in my eaes. He's in love with me! 
He's fucking in love with me!
I leaned on the railings and held on to it, still looking at him. I bit my lower lip and looked away at his eyes. It makes me weak. He leaned closer to me and softly held my chin and make me look at him.
He smiled and chuckled, he looked like he's shy and nervous at the same time. But then, it didn't make him less handsome. It even made him look hotter!
"I know you still love your ex, I don't care though. I'll make you love me, I'll make you fall in love with me so damn hard like how I am to you."
He looked at me directly in my eyes as he said that. I don't know why but I couldn't help myself but smile. I looked away and looked at the scenery. I turned around so he's behind me again. He hugged me from behind and it made me smile.  
Lucas is in love with me and my heart never felt this light until I heard him say that.
"You're too quiet, should I be nervous?" he asked and buried his face on my neck from behind. I smiled even more when I realized I'm used to that. 
"It's so beautiful here," I whispered. I couldn't think of better things to tell him so that's it. Instead of us talking more about what we he just said a while ago. 
I don't know why but I felt even more at ease hearing him say those ghings but then, maybe it's because I wouldn't have to guess anymore. I smiled when I glanced at him.
"I'm still jealous that you still love him but I understand, I'll wait till you fall in love with me that you wouldn't even remember you loved someone else first," I felt his hug tightened. I chuckled softly, he looked at me intensely and kissed the side of my lips.
I looked at him shocked. He's already smiling a bit, trying to stop himself from smiling widely. I pushed him jokingly and he just laughed at it.
