He held out my hand and guided me to my room. He's quiet and serious as I am. When we reached my room, we remained silent. Good thing he didn't stay so long. He kissed me on my forehead before he left. I pushed myself to my bed and breath heavily.
I know what he said earlier, though it wasn't direct, I know. I understand it. But I'm still confused. I feel sad and hurt at the same time whenever I think of what he said.
He's ignoring me because he doesn't want me to be confused. He choose not to talk to me. He's mad at Xavier for not seeing what he's seen to me. I sighed. He's mad because he thinks I don't deserve all of this. He wants to take me away from Xavier but he couldn't because he thinks I still love him. He's willing to hide me, and he wants to ask for his chance but couldn't ask because he doesn't want to burden me. He doesn't like to put me o ln a situation that might cause me trouble. 
"This is even harder, Lucas. Can't you see?" I whispered to myself. I made sure that I am fully covered with my blanket. I feel comfortable this way.
If he likes me then why can't he just like me? Why can't he just let me decide?
I'm pissed. But I don't know if this is for Xavier, Lucas, or myself. I'm so pissed I want to cry so bad. I couldn't sleep and I didn't even notice the time. I just know that it's already 2:00 am when I felt thirsty. I decided to go out to get myself some water.
The light is already dimmed in the whole room. I guess he's already sleeping soundly. I straight ahead to the kitchen and get some water. When I finished, I decided to rest on the couch in the living room. I laid down there and hoped that Gail would arrive soon.
And I was right. Because before 3:30, Gail and the other men arrived.
I greeted Gail right away but I was shocked to see Lucas with them. But I made sure I wouldn't make it a big deal to me. I put all of my attention to my friend.
"Do you want to eat? I'll cook for you guys," I said after we hugged each other. I feel at ease now that she's here.
"Yes please! My butt hurts with all that hours. And I missed your cooking plus I deserve a good food," she excitedly said. I laughed at her excitement and headed to the kitchen.
"What do you want to eat?"
"Well, what's available to cook here? I don't mind anything, as long it's your cooking. I'm really so pressed lately, I really need to eat delicious foods from you," she said.
I smiled at her and started preparing the ingredients. 
"Alright. If you want, you can rest first in my room. Did the men you're with already ate?" I asked.
She shooked her head before answering, "Nope. Well, we ate but it's all light meals. You know, I don't want to waste time with stop overs. Can you cook some heavy meals? I think, I'm craving for Caldereta. Can you do that? Also, I don't want to rest, I'm good."
I get excited when I checked the ingredients for Caldereta and everythings available. 
"I can cook Caldereta," I said to inform her.
She continue telling stories about everythung that she went though while we're away. While Lucas and his men is busy discussing about something in the living room. 
Gail keeps on asking about what happened to me so I told her everything. But we made sure our voices are only enough to hear each other.
I finished cooking even before I could tell her the recent conversation I had with Lucas. Gail helped me with aaranging the table for everyone. Good thing the whole room is huge. And even the things we needed is almost complete. So whenever we're short of something, Gail would just request to the receptionist and it would be given right away.
While I was transferring the Caldereta, Gail called the others to eat. It's already 4:00 in the morning so this would be our breakfast already.
She returned with eight men. She's bragging about my cooking that made me blush.
"Vy cooked Caldereta. She's really a good cook so make sure you'll eat a lot!" she exclaimed.
"Wow. You're a good cook, Vy? This is great for today. We've got so much to do," it was Uno who said that.
I offered them the food in the table. I noticed Lucas staring at me.
"You should eat too," I said when he sat near me. He didn't say anything nor get his food even though everyone is already busy getting their own food. I remained silent watching everyone while I put some food on my plate.
Gail pouted on me. I raised an eyebrow on her. She then signaled that Lucas doesn't have a plate yet while he remained staring at me. I rolled my eyes at Gail but she just pointed at Lucas with her lips. I shook my head at her, she's weired now, too?
Everyone is already eating and continuously commending my cooking. While I couldn't start eating because Lucas keeps on staring at me. I thought he's keeping his distance? Why is he like this now?
I sighed and started to get some plate for him. I saw him in awe with what I did but I didn't react. I continued putting some food on his plate quietly. I don't undrstand him so it's better if he'll just eat. 
"Eat your food, Lucas," I said in a low voice after I finished putting food.
"Okay," he said and started eating.
I couldn't stop myself from rolling my eyes with how he's acting again. I started eating and listened to everyone's stories. 
So this hotel is owned by Lucas' friend. That explains why we got this huge room without proper reservation. And even the requests that we made that they abide right away. He's really rich. 
As time goes by, the thing I refused to believe is starting to dawn on me. And until now, I don't know how would I react and feel if that's true.
When we finished eating, everyone commended my food. Gail is already comfrotable with everyone, especially with Uno. They have so much in common so sometimes, they argue but ends up laughing it off.
