I woke up the next morning with Gail's voice. She's waking me up for some reasons.
"What?" I asked, my head is a bit heavy for staying up late.
"Lucas called me, I don't know where he got my number but it's not important anymore. Fix yourself. He'll bring you somewhere. The media is still looking for you, they're still waiting outside your company building and you apartment. Now, there's also some media outside, but dad is already talking to them. Go, fix yourself. You'll go once they leave," she explained in a hurry.
And where will Lucas bring me? And why do I have to go with him? Isn't he mad at me? He hasn't talk to me since that day.
"Come on, Vy. Quit being confused. Hurry, Lucas might be here in any moment," Gail is still tensed so I decided to do as she say.
"Where are we going? Gail, I thought he's mad at me? Why is he helping me now?" I asked as I started to fix myself.
"I don't know yet but that's not important right now. Just hurry up," she said and picked up some of my things and put it on my bag.
"Aren't you going with us?" I asked before entering the bathroom.
"I'll be there, but you two will go first. We have to confuse the media. Go, hurry up," she said and smiled at me with assurance.
I nodded and continued to fox myself. I hurriedly took a bath. After that I wear almost the same clothes as Gail. She's already waiting for me. 
"Do we have to do this? What's happening outside? How did they know that I am here?" I asked worriedly.
She smiled tiredly, "Xavier posted a photo of us. Media assumed that you're with me that's why they're here."
"He's really out of his mind," I said. Gail shrugged and tap my shoulder.
"Let's go downstairs, Lucas is here. Use his phone whenever you want to contact me okay? I'll call you through his phone also, from time to time."
She kept on instructing me as she helped me with my things.
"Gail, what if we just stay here? I'll just face them. I don't want to drag other people on this anymore," I said.
"Vy, stop it. If you face them, it won't fix anything. You'll only risk yourself there. Don't worry, I'll take care. I'll bring some of our bodyguards with me so you wouldn't worry about me, okay?" she said convincing me.
I felt guilty even more. I can see she worries so much about me. I sighed. This is all my fault. I keep on dragging them into this situation.
"I still haven't known Lucas but I feel like I can trust him with you. Compared to your ex, I feel like he seems better. Just make sure to call me if something happened okay? Tomorrow morning, I'll be there. Be safe okay? Don't worry too much," she said. I nodded right away to assure her that I'll do everything she said.
I was keeping my breath when Lucas and I looked at each other. He was sitting on the couch waiting for us. When he saw us, he hurriedly help with my things. 
He looked at me seriously for a while before facing Gail, "There's still media waiting outside when I got here. We have to go outside together. Veronica will follow after we got their attention," he explained.
His voice was firm and full of authority, far from what I was used to.
"You think they would follow us? What if they saw Vy?" Gail asked worriedly.
"I'm sure they'll follow us. Some of them might think that we're just distracting them but still, they will follow us. They would think rather think that it's either Veronica or it's you who will go to see her, so they'll still follow us. Also, she won't go alone. I asked Ram to be with her. We'll stick to our plan, we'll go together on your condo so they will wait there. I'll leave you there when your bodyguards arrives, then I'll go where they are."
I remained silent as I listen to them. Lucas looked at me for a while before looking at Gail again. 
Gail nodded at him. I didn't know that they already have a plan like this.
"Are you sure we could trust them?" Gail asked and pointed the guys who will be with me.
Lucas nodded right away and it assured Gail, "Everything will be alright, okay? Call or text me from time to time."
I hugged her back when she hugged me, "I will. Please take care."
They finalized everything and after some time, they decided to leave. I secretly looked at the windows to see the media. A lot of them has tried to go near Lucas and Gail but they managed to stopped them with the help of Gail's bodyguards. Lucas opened the car door for her and hurriedly hopped in also. They left and as planned, the media followed them. I turned to face the guy, Lucas meant to be with me for this plan. Some of the men proceeded outside to prepare for our leaving. Two of the men are busy with my things and some are here with me.
"Veronica, Gail told me to give this to you. This would be your phone for the meantime. Her number is saved there, the guy's number is also there. Take care," the oldest maid of Gail's family come to me and handed me this phone. She also hugged me that gave warmth to my heart.
"Take care, I'll be praying for your safety."
I smiled at her and nodded, "Thank you. Please let Tito and Tita know that I am really grateful for their help and I'm sorry for all the trouble."
I bid my goodbye after that.
"Let's go, Miss?" It was the man named Ram. I nodded and followed him silently.
Who is he? Aside from his name, I don't know anything about him. Is he Lucas' friend? If yes, do they really have to wear black and boots. I sighed, do they really wear those things normally? Some of them looked older than the one I spoke with. Ram and Lucas looked like they're in the same age.
"Where are we going?" I asked a bit shy when we started to walk towards the gate. Everyone is already prepared. There are two cars waiting for us. The first one is the car Lucas and I used when we visit Batanggas. The other one is new to me, it is also bigger than the first one.
"To the house of Sir Lucas' sister, miss." 
Ram's answer was plain and direct but I feel like my mind stopped functioning. I entered the car as they guided me and continued to wonder about the information that I just got.
Lucas has a sister? And why are they calling him sir? I thought they are his friends?
