I was with three guys on this car. They were all quite as we leave. While I couldn't stop myself from thinking about a lot of things.
I looked at the guy who's sitting beside me, the same guy I spoke with earlier. I was very hesitant to ask because they're too quiet.
"Ram I think miss wants to ask you something," the guy from the passenger seat said.
I looked at him and smiled a bit before looking back at the guy beside me. He's already looking at me too.
"I just want to know your connection with Lucas?" I asked a bit shy.
The guy in front and the guy beside me looked at each other for a while. I waited for his answer but they remained silent. I sighed and faced the window.
"We're working under him, Miss."
I wasn't expecting for Ram to answer me but he did. I looked at him questionningly.
"How come?" I asked.
Both of them exchanged their looks again before Ram answered my question.
"We were his friends miss. I'm sorry, that's all that we can tell," he explained.
I didn't say a thing and focused on the window on my side. I feel my head hurt a bit with all the information that I got. Isn't Lucas, Samantha's driver? If he is, why are these men working under him? Ram said that they are his friend but he also said that they work for him. How it can be when Lucas is only a driver?
I didn't notice that I fell asleep. I just woke up with someone softly waking me up.
It was Ram.
"Miss, we're already here."
I nodded and fixed myself right away. I looked around and saw a big house in front of us. The guy from the front seat guided me. I thanked him for that and I was about to get my things but the other men got it already.
We entered the house and we were greeted by the maids. I was busy looking around when someone greeted me directly. She looks so beautiful and perfect. She's wearing a long purple silk dress with her long black hair neatly tucked behind her ears. She's smiling at me widely.
"I'm glad you're here now," she stopped and turned to face the men I'm with. "Thank you for bringing her here, Ramiel. I already prepared some food for you guys, it's in the garden. I'll take care of her," she said. She turned to me again after she spoke with Ram. 
"Sorry, my brother's really worried so he asked those men to accompany you here. I already know what happened so you don't have to tell me anything about the problem. I also hope you won't be confused. I'm Harriet. Lucas is my younger brother. Welcome to my home," she said happily and hugged me.
I didn't know what to do. And unfortunately, I was still confused even though she hoped I wouldn't.
"I think we should also eat, it's already 11:00 o' clock. Lucas also called earlier and told me that you haven't eat anything yet when you woke up and leave to go here. Let's have our brunch. Come, feel at home. Veronica, right?" she smiled and waited for my answer. I smiled also and nodded at her. I suddenly felt embarrassed with all that is happening. I still don't understand why I have to be here. Aside from they really don't know me, I'm also causing them trouble.
"Are you really that quiet? Lucas said that you aren't. Don't tell me you're shy?" she asked while still smiling. 
I couldn't answer because we already reached the dining area. Her house is really beautiful. The furniture is elegant and the colors only plays with with and beige.
"Please don't be shy. Make yourself comfortable," she smiled even more and offered me the seat beside her. I accepted her offer and smiled at her too. A lot of food is prepared in front of me.
I wanted to be even more shy but I also don't want her to feel uneasy because of me. I already caused them so much trouble, it makes me irritated to myself. This should be my problem but here I am dragging them into this.
"I'm sorry. I'm a bit shock about everything. Thanks for welcoming me here but please don't trouble yourself too much. This is more than enough already," I said.
"Oh please, don't be sorry. I'm really happy when my brother asked me if he can bring you here. And this isn't trouble for us. Just make yourself comfortable," she said, her voice somehow reminds me of Lucas. They both speak so calm it makes me calm too. 
"I-I don't that he has a sister," I admitted shyly. She laughed a bit and nodded to me.
"I know. He never really mentions anything about his family. That's why I was also shocked when he told me he wants you here. Anyways, you should eat. For sure you're already hungry. You haven't eat anything from breakfast yet so go. I don't want my brother to be mad at me," she joked. 
I didn't say anything and just do as she said. I still feel guilty about everything but more than that, my mind couldn't forget about the things that I just discovered today. My heart feel heavy knowing that all this time, I don't really know Lucas personally and deeply. With everything that I discovered about him, I feel like the one I already know is different from who he really is. I don't even know a thing about his family except now that I met his sister.
I remained silent most of the time and only talk whenever Harriet is asking me something. She's really jolly and welcoming. She kept on telling stories about him and I only listened. Maids are just around waiting for her instructions and ready to abide with her requests.
After we finished, she guided me to her living room and she continued talking. I tried my best to talk to her aswell. But I still couldn't stop myself from thinking of the questions in my head. Who really are you Lucas? And why did I never asked about him? Why didn't I feel the need to ask about him?
"Would you mind if I ask you something?" She asked after a while. I felt nervous but I nodded at her.
"Are you with my brother? I mean, are you two together already?" she asked and laughed a bit awkward, "I mean, I'm just wondering. Ah, he hasn't told me anything yet but I'm really curious. Sorry for asking," she explained.
I couldn't answer right away. Why does she think that we're together? He isn't even courting me? How could we be together? Also, she knows the reason why I'm here, is it okay that her brother will be with someone like me?
