Our friendship has been through a lot too, there were times that our opinions are not aligned but then, our differences couldn't break us. We see each other as a family. And I'm lucky to have her. So lucky to gain this kind of relationship with her.

My phone suddenly rang. I set aside what I'm doing and answered my phone. It's Rica.
"Hmm?" I answered.
"What do you mean hmm? Have you seen it already?" she asked a bit exaggerated.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"Seriously? You haven't?" she asked worriedly.
"What do you mean, Rica? I don't understand. What's going on?"
Sudden volt of worries dawn on me. I don't know what's happening yet here I am panicking.
"Don't access any of your social media accounts okay? And as much as possible please don't go out. If you can, just file a leave. Take time to rest and don't mind the work here, we got this. I'll let you borrow my computer so you could work there. Go plot your leave now and I'll explain everything on him after this call. Just make sure you won't open your accounts okay? Get well soon," she said continuously that made me worry even more.
"What the hell is happening, Rica? I'm getting anxious."
I heard her sigh before answering my question, "Just do as I say, Vy. I'll talk to Gail so she can explain it to you. Just don't open any of your social media accounts. Listen to me or else, I'll fucking blow your house up!" 
She sounded so serious so I assured her that I'll listen to her.
"Okay, okay I won't. Please tell Gail about it now so she could explain it to me already. I don't know what's happening but I'm really worried here."
"Good. I will tell her now. Finn will bring the computer there, later. I'll also talk to our boss about this so you stay there. Just please Veronica, don't entertain anyone for the meantime. Shit, this is making me dizzy. My head hurts, fuck. Anyways, I'll hang up for now. Will text you later, don't go anywhere."
I couldn't say anything as she already hang up the call. I'm getting more anxious as time goes by but I have to take note of everything that she asked me not to do. Whatever that is happening, I hope it won't get worst. 
For sure this isn't any simple problem. Hearing Rica's frustrations and knowing her personality, this is surely something bad. But what could it be?
I continued what I'm doing after sometime, trying to overthink about what's going on. After cooking, I prepared the table and decided to go upstairs to take a bath. Taking a bath somehow helps me clear my mind. I just couldn't shrug the thought off my head, knowing that the last time that Rica became this serious was when Kley, our teammate was accused of doing something illegal by one of our clients. Though, it was proven that Kley is innocent. I hope this goes well, too. 
After finishing my bath, I decided to go back to the kitchen and clean. After some time, Gail came. She looks exhausted and angry but she managed to smile to me when she noticed that I'm staring at her. I smiled at her too even though I already wanted to ask her about what happened. 
We ate together and started a to talk about her day. She just shared what she's done earlier this day and we manage to laugh at her stories. When we finished, she told me to wait here as she get changed.
"We'll talk after I change," she said before turning the room.
I nodded in silent and sighed heavily. I decided to do the dishes as I wait for her and when I finished, I waited for her on the couch.
"Vy, what if we just stay on my house for the meantime?" she asked all of a sudden.
I turned to her and raised an eyebrow. She's now wearing a more comfortable clothes than earlier.
"Why?" I asked when she didn't say anything.
"For your safety," she stopped and sighed. "Come on, pack your things. I'll call our driver so he could fetch us here. I'll also call my mom to inform them about this. Also, give me your phone," she said seriously.
The urgency and the tense is written all over her face. Her voice sounds weak and frustrated too. This is really not good.
I stand up and decided to asked her directly, "What's going on, Gail? Why are you so worried? Rica asked me to not open my socials but I don't understand. What's going on? I can't think straight, I'm worried about your reactions."
She looked away and tried to calm herself, "I promise I'll explain everything to you when we get home. For now, please don't ask and do what we asked you to do. I'll explain everything to you okay? We really just have to leave this place. Go pack your things and give me your phone."
Shit. 
"Gail," I called in frustration.
She turned around and calm herself again.
"It's Xavier, Vy. Now, pack your things. We have to leave now. I'll explain it to you as soon as we get there okay? Trust me," she said trying to assure me.
I wanted to argue but hearing her almost pleading for me to do what she asked me to do, I remained silent and packed my things. 
I still don't know what to do but one thing is for sure, Xavier fucked up.
What the hell did you do, Xavier?
When I finished packing some of my things, Gail's driver came to get my things. We closed my apartment and headed to her home. She handed me her phone as soon as we get to their car.
"Call him," she said.
She didn't tell me who but all of a sudden, Lucas came across my mind. He hasn't texted nor called me today. And now, something bad is happening. I haven't talked to him yet.
She sighed and put her phone on my lap, "He texted you, Vy. I can't let you use your phone right now for safety reasons, so better use mine."
I remained silent after that. If she meant Xavier, then I don't want to talk to him right now. If she's the reason behind all this urgency then I don't want to talk to him. And if Gail meant Lucas, I can't talk to him. I don't know what to say. I'm not even sure if we're okay. He hasn't texted me, maybe he's busy or he's mad? I don't know.
