TANIA'S POV
I held my breathe as she stared down at Alexis's hair. She didn't see it did she? I watch her stretched out her hand to Alex's hair and I momentarily freezed, preparing for her outbursts...
"How did this happened to you Alex?" She asked as her eyes stared down at a particular place in worry. I looked down and noticed she was looking at the slight cut at the back of Alex's neck, slightly below her right ear. I heaved a sigh of relief in my mind and quickly let her hair fall back, covering the mark. I made it fall in a way that Elle could still see the scratch on the other side.
"That was my nails, I had scratched my neck unconsciously one night at my aunt's last week. I don't know the mark is still visible." Alexis said staring at us from the mirror.
"Oh sorry. Be careful with your finger nails next time okay?" She nodded. "I'll treat that for you Immediately Tania is through with your hair. You shouldn't have any scars on your body." Elle said as she walked back to her closet. The way she loves this kid...
I stared down at the hair strands in the comb, there's only one way to find out why she's having the same birth-mark as Elle. I looked up and saw Lia staring. I gave her a meaningful look and she was quick to understand.
"Rosy weren't you saying something before?" Alex asked gently.
"Oh, was I? I must have forgotten." I smiled at her from the mirror.
"Something about ponytails." She reminded.
"Ah yes ponytails. I think you're still pretty with your hair down Alex. Ponytails aren't necessary." I said quickly, while brushing her hair.
"Thanks," she smiled.
While she's here, I'll have to make sure her hair still remains down always. Untill we've figured out why she's having that birth-mark, Elle mustn't see it. She might break down on seeing it like this. Lia and I have to find out first.
I stared at the hair comb again, DNA must be carried out.
VERA WOOD'S POV
NEW YORK CITY
"...yes Mrs Cosmos. Yes, I'll have the package delivered to you soonest. Thank you." I stared out the car window and my eyes caught something. I was still talking to one of my business clients.
"Of course Mrs Cosmos, Elina would take care of it. Yeah, goodbye." I hung up.
"Stop the car!" I said to the driver. He did as instructed and I wind down the tinted glass window and stared at the large Led bill board displaying on the highway.
That kid isn't supposed to be there, she's not supposed to be anywhere near that Diva Scott not to talk of as a member of her dance team. Just a month I've been gone and all my hard work is trying to crumble. I can't and I won't let that happen, that would be the end of me.
"Bruno place a call to Evan, I want him at the company right now." I said to my PA beside me.
"Yes ma'am." He replied curtly and got to work.
"Drive straight to the company, I'll head home later." I said and the driver started the car and pulled back into the highway.
Evan's got some explaining to do.
DANIEL'S POV
I sat with the guys in Jay's studio as we listened to Roe lament. What exactly is his problem? He's got no difficulties in this situation, all I see is prayers answered. It's totally understandable to be shocked, yeah we all are. I mean, Lucia's best friend turned out to be the crown princess that left home as a child. The one he was ignoring before but then he surprisingly fell for her and this bomb blast came along.
"I'm telling you Roe, you've got no problems here. Didn't you say your dad mentioned that you were originally supposed to be betrothed to the older daughter, the crown princess? Well then see this as a prayer answered. This is good news, the one you love happened to be the crown princess whom you're supposed to be with from the start. The only thing is that you've got to tell your dad about this, tell him you found the crown princess and you are in love with her, then all this is settled." Jay said to him voicing out my thoughts like he could hear them.
"I agree with Jay, this obviously is no big issue. The only problem would have been if Arianna loves you now_well, we hope she doesn't. You'll have to meet with the sisters and talked this issues out with them, then you'll call your dad and notify him of the latest. Remember he said the only way out was if you'd fallen in love with another British princess, well luckily you did. And Penny isn't just a British princess, she happens to be the same one your dad was talking about_the crown princess." I paused and stared at him. His expression was already liting up, he's getting it. "Dude, you should thank your stars Arianna came along today. You might have never known about her family if she's hiding it." I added and Jay nodded in support.
"See bro, problem solved." Jay said kicking him gently. Roe smiled and laughed out happily.
"What would I do without friends like you? You guys are the best!" He shrieked jumping up and throwing his arms on us since we were sitting on the same couch, Jay and I that is.
"Glad you know that." I said smilingly, with mock pride.
"That's why we are Bff's bro." Jay smiled. My phone rang and I stared at the caller ID, hmm Dad. Did he finally did as I instructed? Well let's find out.
"Guys I'll take this." I said to Jay and Roe who were busy laughing, and I stood up.
I walked away from them a bit and picked the call.
"Jordan," he said.
"Is it done?" I retorted, not even bothering to greet him. He's trying to ruin me so why bother?
"Look, I'm sorry okay? I won't repeat such ever again, do not cut me off please you're my only son and I can't bare to loose you." He said softly and I couldn't help but smile.
"Dad you're the one trying to push me away. The question is, have you terminated that pronouncement you made with Mr Caden?" I asked.
"I tried to but..." I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
"You couldn't right?" I completed, anger clear in my voice.
"Listen to me first, son!" He yelled and I sighed again.
"Alright."
"My friend John called me earlier today while I was busy thinking of how to tell him. I was very glad he did and before I could tell him, he told me that they aren't interested in the proposal anymore."
"Are you kidding me?" I asked in surprise and excitement. But what made them have a sudden change of heart? I'm sure this is all Mr Caden's doing, that daughter of his is too stubborn but who knows? A miracle can happen.
"No Jordan, his words I quote: the kids don't love each other Edward so it's better we don't force them. That's what John said and I was extremely relieved." My mouth fell open slightly. "the point is you're free to date whoever you want now. I'm sorry for trying to impose someone on you before, that was insensitive of me. Hope I'm forgiven?"
"Of course dad," I let out a surprise laughter. "But how? Why was he the first to call? I'm surprised because Lucia I know will not agree easily to that. So what happened?" I asked curiously.
"Really? Well John said his daughter likes someone else." Dad explained and I was shocked.

"Wow that's nice." I said.
"So tell me about her son," He said and I found myself blushing.
"Who?" I asked feigning ignorance.
"Oh please don't do that with your old man." He said and I chuckled.
"You heard about her already?"
"Oh well it's all over the internet, one personally uploaded by you. She's really beautiful but I can't help thinking she looks familiar, like someone I know." I smiled. He mustn't have done any research on her, that's why he's clueless. But familiar? Someone he knows?
"She's very popular dad you should know her. She's the daughter of Timothy and Elizabeth Scott." I explained.
"No wonder. She looks so much like her mom."
"That's true."
"Her parents and I attended Oxford University, Elizabeth was a junior then." He said and I noticed the smile in his voice.
"Wow I see, you're smiling right now dad. Were you close to her mom, like close close..." I asked and he chuckled.
"Silly boy what are you thinking. We weren't really close but I and Timothy Scott were course mates in the business department back then. And her mom was the hottest and most popular girl on campus and that's just it." He said.
"Hmm," I said playfully.
"Don't get any ideas Jordan, I was already with your mom right from highschool." He said laughingly.
"Oh right." I laughed.
"Well since you won't tell me about her, do well to introduce her to me in the nearest future." He said.
"Sure Dad. How's everyone or you aren't home?" I asked as I glanced sideways at the boys. Jay was now playing softly on his guitar, while Roe was typing smilingly on his phone.
"Yeah I just arrived Spain few hours ago for a business meeting."
"Ok Dad. Thanks again, I'll say hi to Mr Caden later."
"John is on his way here right now, you know it's a business meeting. Ah, I think I'll meet my future in-law, Timothy and say hi on your behalf too."
"Dad! Isn't that too early?" I shrieked. "Well don't say anything about us to him. Let his daughter do that herself."
"Aye aye lover boy. Will do as you instructed, I'll talk to you later. Got to go now." He said.
"Alright then. Goodbye Dad." I smiled and hung up.
"Guys!!!" I shrieked happily as I walked to them. "I'm free, you're not gonna believe this but it's true." They looked up at me.
"And what could that be? Your dad broked the supposed engagement?" Jay asked smiling and I chuckled.
"Well it was Lucia's Dad that broke it off. He said Lucia likes someone else. Isn't that surprising and amazing?" I asked grinningly.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Roe exclaimed in surprise.
"I think this week's just full of surprises. Ah, Saline will be mine in three days, great right?" Jay said smilingly.
"It is man." I replied with a smile.
"Yeah yeah, I'm hungry guys. I was too shocked that I forgot I needed to have lunch, even when Ferdinand offered me those mouthwatering pizzas I declined. Now I'm regretting that decision, the point is, I'm hungry. Extremely, Dan take me home. Let's go home!" He said and Jay and I laughed.
"Well I need to call my babe and fill her in. Just a minute." I gave him a boyish grin before walking off.
"Dan I said I'm hungry!" He shouted.
"I said a minute Roe."
"That'll take forever, I'll faint before then." He yelled. "Jay let's go home right? Aren't you hungry?" Jay chuckled.
"Sorry, I'll have to practice for one more hour."
"What?!" He shouted.
VERA WOOD'S POV
"What do you mean he isn't around?" I barked at Bruno furiously he flinched and bowed lowly.
"I'm sorry ma'am, Evan is in Kentucky right now." He said with head bowed.
"What?!!!" I yelled standing up from my seat immediately. I began to pace up and down my office furiously and in thought.
How can? A little more time and my plans may get thwarted. I can't let that happen, I can't bear to be exposed after all my hard work, that will be disastrous. Very very disastrous. No I can't let that happen.
"Place a call to him immediately, let me speak to him." I said to him.
"Yes ma'am." He said and immediately placed the call, on the third ring Evan picked up.
"I said I'm not around now. Don't you..." His angry voice was saying, I quickly snatched the phone from Bruno.
"Listen to me Evan. I'm giving you two days and if you don't get here by then, be prepared to face my wrath." I yelled.
"Ah! ma'am...Madam Vera it's you?" He asked foolishly with a shaky voice.
"No it's your ancestors! Evan!! Do not test my patience!!" I yelled at him.
"Ah....I can never try that...I'll be there as...as you've instructed." He said.
"Good!" I said and tossed the phone back to my personal assistant before returning to my seat.
"Get me Elina." I said to him and he nodded and scurried off.
