JAY'S POV
I sighed softly as I removed my gloves and rubbed my temples. I can't stop thinking about the dude from before, he suddenly wants her back? There's no way I'm gonna let him. Just two days and that's all it takes before I announce her to the world officially as my girlfriend.
She left few minutes ago because she got a text from Rosy and it's an emergency. I was alone sitting on a bench under a tree just outside my faculty building. I dipped the gloves in the pockets of my black leather jacket and brought out my phone. We've been planning for her surprise birthday party and so far everything was going as planned, we just have few things to do before the D-Day. I noticed someone sat beside me but I didn't care who because I was busy with my phone.
"Finally I got to meet you alone." The person said and I turned around sharply.
"Goldie?" I asked wide eyed.
"Hello Jay." She cooed.
"What are you doing here?" I asked stunned. Dan shouldn't see her, he'll be so pissed off.
"If mountain refused to go to Mohammed, Mohammed must go to mountain." She said smirkingly.
"How have you been Lee Jung?" She asked and I just stared at her, wondering the kind of person she turned out to be. What's giving her the courage to show up before me? I better answer her before she shows her face to Dan or Diva.
"What do you want?" I asked glaring at her.
"Well, Let's see..."
ALEXIS'S POV
I watched Candy as she fiddled with her food while staring uncertainly or maybe curiously at Hector who was smiling at her. It's still hard to believe that she's also my best friend. My beautiful blonde haired best friend. I'll forever appreciate the day I met Diva along that hallway, my life has been filled with pleasantries and so much fun since then, I even got to see her childhood photos and her Mom. Her mom is so beautiful, Black Diva is her exact replica.
"Candy you ain't hungry or you don't like your food?" Hector asked as he stared at her.
It was lunch time and we were having lunch at the cafeteria. Candy insisted on coming with me to school today and when my driver dropped us, the way students crowded us on sighting her was unexplainable. The little sister of DSD's Saline and the last daughter of America's Best surgeon is in our school, even the seniors came out to stare... Many wanted to touch and talk to her but she clinged unto me tightly. I don't think she makes friends easily, the way she's still looking at Hector sceptically. I smiled, I'm glad I got to meet her and be her friend, she came from New York just to meet me and be my friend, how can I not love her? She's kind and sweet like her sister but that's when she's relaxed with someone. She's also a good dancer but she isn't in any dance group yet, she'll join DSD later, she told me. Many students were still staring at us and Candy didn't answer Hector, she just stared at him. She haven't said a word to him since I introduced them.
"Candy..."
"Hey it's Candace to you." She said cutting him off. He stared at her surprised.
"So you can talk?" Hector said with an amused chuckle.
"No I can fly!" She retorted and I stared at them both in amusement. I'm even the youngest amongst us.
"Why are you so m...." I touched him gently and he smiled.
"Candy it's okay you can trust Hector. He is nice too, like your other friend Zoe." I said smiling at her. She told me about her childhood friend Zoe, he's Tania's younger brother.
"Sorry Hector, nice to meet you." She said quietly and smiled. Hector smiled widely.
"Same here, so can I call you Candy now?" He asked and she nodded.
"Okay. Alex who's Zoe?" He asked looking at me.
"Candy's best friend back in New York." I replied as I took a bite from my burger.
"Okay." He said and continued eating. I looked at Candy she's still not eating.
"Candy what's wrong?"
"I don't like french fries, I'll prefer sandwiches." She said simply.
"Oh okay! Shall we change it then?" She nodded. Candy is more of an introvert than an extrovert, she doesn't talk much.
"Come," I said and stood up. "Hector we're coming." I said to him. Candy picked up her tray and stood up too. She smiled as she interlocked our hands and I smiled too as we walked to the counter.
I finally have a female bestie but she'll leave soon, either ways am glad I met her....
CILIA'S POV
Hurriedly, I climbed up the stairs and pulled the handle of Nia's door and the door opened. I stepped In quickly only to see she and Kim sitting on her bed and staring with extreme shock at a document in her hand.
Don't tell me it's what I'm thinking...
I hastily ran to them and snatched it from her loose grip, I ran my eyes through it quickly and I instantly collapsed on her bed, dropping the paper beside me.
"Is this a dream of some sort? I mean, how can this be? We were there when that child was buried Lia, so what...what does this mean?" Nia asked lost in thought when she finally found her voice.
"Or did Diva's dad ever cheated on his wife?" Kim asked in confusion.
"Oh no! That's not even an option, Alex looks so much like Elle, her birthday is the same as Ariel's, the birth-mark beside her left ear is the exact family birth-mark of Elle's mom. Even Elle have it in on her back. Don't even think about it, Elle knows all her relatives and none of live in Sacramento." I said and Kim's mouth hung open.
"No wonder the kid never packed her hair in a ponytail, is she aware of the mark?" She asked in wonder.
"She's not." Nia said.
I stared up at the ceiling lost in thoughts, the familiar birth-mark, the birthday and now DNA results proved them to be siblings but how? There's more to this than we can think of, is it that the child never died? But then a dead child was buried. I was there, all our families were there so how...jeez except...wait! Someone must have planned it all but who and why? I hastily sat up and faced the girls, Kim's still in shock..
"Girls! There's only one way to find out what happened." They stared at me curiously. "Elle must not here or suspect a thing of this till we are sure about it all." I added
"Okay so what's the plan?" Kim asked.
"Hurry up girls, let's go find Mrs Hanna Joe." I said.
They nodded and quickly stood up, Nia carefully wrapped up the DNA test and kept it somewhere safe, where no one especially Elle would see it. Kim ran to her room, then came back well dressed then we all ran out....
JADE'S POV
"Don't forget all I told you Jade, Elle's open hearted and I know she'll forgive you." She said as we walked down the hill and I smiled.
She just lifted my heavy burden, I feel so light now and I now know just exactly what to do to get Elle to be my friend again. I looked sideway at her, she was pulling her beanie down with a shy smile as she walked along side me.
"Thanks so much for today Jasmine, I'll do all what you've said." I smiled at her and she smiled back but she suddenly missed her step as she was looking at me and she was tripping but I caught her by her waist on time. She stared at me with her eyes widened in shock and I looked down at her pink lips.
JASMINE'S POV
I was busy blushing happily as I walked down the hill with Jade. I can't believe I spent up to three hours sitting and talking with him, my governor's son.
"Thanks so much for today Jasmine, I'll do all what you've said." He said smiling at me and I smiled back as I stared into his silver eyes.
This Jade is soooo handsome, his eyes is mesmerizing. I was still lost looking at him I didn't know when I missed my step and was tripping but he caught me on time with his hands around my waist. My eyes widened and his eyes moved down to my lips, while I watched his... Wait what is he doing?? He is learning closer to my face...Ahhh Jasmine, you're in trouble... I'm falling for the person who's trying to recover from heartbreak. What's wrong with me??
We were still in the same unexplainable position and the funny thing was that I couldn't do a thing as I just stared at him. This same situation that made me fell for him, I'm in that same position again... I watched him carefully and the next thing I knew was that he balanced me immediately and hugged me tight. It happened so fast and there I was thinking he wanted to kiss me? Hah...I must be dreaming, governor's son kiss me a commoner but why is he hugging me now?? After a while he released me and held my hand then we walked down completely. I just stared at him nonplussed.
"Thanks for not letting me fall." I said while twirling a strand of my hair unconsciously. He smiled and released my hand.
"You're welcome Jasmine. Uhm can I have your number. I mean...uhm ju.. just in case of ehm...to check on you and well...tell you when it work." He stuttered and I smiled.
Why's he stuttering? Well of cause he can have my number.
"Sure." I smiled.
JAY'S POV
I frowned as I stared at her, my ears are trying not to believe what she just said.
"You're joking right?" I asked as I stared at her. My hands were tucked in my pockets.
"I'm not. I'm going to walk up to Dan and say hello ex-boyfriend, what's this I hear about your first love? Wasn't that supposed to be me?" She said smirkingly. "How does that sound, not bad right?" She asked innocently.
Oh my God! Is this the Goldie I once knew? Even then she lied to us, betrayed and cheated on Dan. I can't believe the reason she wanted to see me was to tell me she wants to go see Dan and ask him such questions, after all she did to him. She's not going to see him because she wants to apologise, she came here just to ask a stupid question? How can she be this heartless??
I stared at her and angrily ran a hand through my hair. Why am I even bothered? Let her go, I know Dan would handle her properly but Diva, is she prepared for such? I mean they only started dating few weeks ago and after Lucia's troubles this one shows up... Oh well what am I saying? Diva's very tough, I know she won't let no one intimidate her.
But the way this girl hurt Dan so badly, he won't like to see her...
"Did you even ever loved Dan?" I asked eyeing her angrily.
"What do you think? Hahaha." She laughed. Do I look like a joke? "You of all people should know that I did and maybe I still do." She said.
What?!! No please don't...
"Why then did you hurt him so bad? Why did you do that?" I don't even know why I'm asking her.
"Isn't it obvious? I saw a bigger catch and I fell in love with him, first it was just because of the fame but I gradually fell for Xavier. Even though I regret it in a way. Just tell me where Dan is." Goldie said callously and my mouth fell open.
Is this girl normal? How can she say something like that like it's a norm without a hint of shame?
"Dan doesn't need to prove anything to you, you're a huge disappointment. I thought you came here to apologise sincerely, but no, you came here to ask such stupid questions. I just pray you don't go to Dan and say such. You're pretty terrible..."
"Jay I said I'm sorry to you already, didn't I? I know I'm terrible, I've hurt even my own family because I wanted to be famous. I know I'm bad and selfish, yes, and I don't need you to tell me that. I'm only going to ask a simple question not going to take him back, the world recognizes her as his first love which is an Insult to me because I'm the first girl he ever dated. If she's his first love then what was I? I can't even ask again..." She was saying and I just shook my head in wonder.
"Well I'll advise you to save yourself the stress of going to meet him. Why? you're his past now and thankfully he's fine now after you almost ruined him but at the same time, you brought him to his rightful woman. We all thank you for that." I said scoffingly.
"What do you mean?" She asked as she looked at me.
I noticed her love for gold colour was still the same, right now she's wearing a white gown but on her wrist was a gold bracelet. Anything she wears must have a touch of gold even if the slightest. Obsessed much...
"I'm telling you this because I don't want you to go and embarrass yourself. Well like you were told, Dan once had an accident which made him lost his memory for a while at age 16. Before that time, Dan was already in love with a little girl he met at a beach in New York but he never got the chance to talk to her and that was when he was 10, I know because I was there. He didn't see this girl again until six years later in Los Angeles during a school sports competition, he also didn't get a chance to talk to her. Two weeks after that, he forcefully drove himself all the way from New York City to Los Angeles with the aim of going to see her but then the accident happened and he lost his memory. When he later gained back his memory, he remembered everything except her. I was so bothered but I let him be. Three years later he met you. Remember the first time you guys met, it was at the Music concert in Spain, I was the lead singer of sparkles band then and you well...do I need to remind you? The point is Dan met her again and I don't think you need to be told who it is?" I said as I stared at her.
Her eyes were wide opened and red like she would cry anytime soon and she looked really shocked. Good thing it's a quiet environment.
"Diva Scott?!" She said. I smiled.
"Yes that's her, don't feel too bad Goldie, you had your chance but then you drove him away and luckily he met his woman again but did you know what reminded him of her? What made him recover his memory completely?Wait! didn't you ever wondered why you were never referred to as his first love?" I said smirkingly. I'm really enjoying this, her tears dropped and I gave her my hanky.
"Stop Jay, just stop." She sobbed.
"No Goldie, you were curious weren't you? Wait, I'm not done with my tale yet." I smirked and continued. "It was the photos he drew of her that helped him recovered his memory, she was the first girl Dan ever drew." I said and her eyes widened more. "Don't worry, you didn't see them because they were with me till I returned them to him recently. I helped him remember her because like I wanted, he finally met her again. Diva Scott is Dan's first love." I ended. Tears streamed down her cheeks ruining her makeup and she wiped them.
"So I was...I was just..."
"Oh no Goldie, don't feel like you were used. No not at all, he did loved you but you almost ruined him. You were loved, cared for and respected, Dan gave you everything, he never cheated, he loved without restriction but all you did to pay him back was your evil backstabbing. Not only did you cheat, you lied, you told Dan you never loved him when you did, you hurt him terrible just for material wealth. You even had the guts to say it to his face, Hah... you're wicked? I hope you know that right?" I said with a slight raised voice as she sobbed more. "Did you know what he went through those six months before coming here? Dan was miserable yet you never thought to apologise properly, you didn't call, you didn't text all those months you never came. And then now...now when he's finally happy again you want to come and provoke him, why are you so heartless?! Do you want God to punish you? I don't even know why I'm talking to you..." I scoffed and stood up. This is ruining my mood, I need my baby...
"Jay please..."
"Well, since I've answered your question you should leave, do not show your face to Dan if you're not gonna apologise. And let me warn you, Diva's no easy girl. Don't mess with her!" I turned to walk away but her voice stopped me.
"I'll go find Dan and hear for myself. I'll apologise to him but he's got to explain this to me. I won't believe anyone until he say so himself!!" She said, I scoffed.
"Goodluck doing that then, let's see if he'll have your time. Don't come after me again Miss!" I turned back and walked away leaving her there.
I trust Dan.
Honey where are you? I need you to crack me up cuz I'm so pissed off right now.

KIM LISA'S POV
"Where's Mrs Hanna?" Saline asked one of the maids Immediately we stepped into the house. Diva really tried, she upgraded their lives and now the little one happens to be her sister. But how? That's what we're here to find out.
"She isn't In at the moment ma'am," the girl said.
"What!!" Rosy and saline exclaimed together.
"Ok then, where's she right now?" I asked as I stared at her.
"She travelled."
"Oh no!" We all exclaimed.
"Is everything Ok?" The girl asked perturbed on seeing our expression.
"When will she be back?" Rosy asked.
"Tomorrow I think." She said.
"Okay thank you, girls let's go." Saline said and we turned back and walked out of the duplex as the workers all bowed.
"Uhmm what do we do now?" I asked as the guard opened the Jeep and we stepped in.
"Well we'll have to call Mrs Hanna, Lia you have her contact right?" Rosy said as she leaned her head on the headrest.
"Yeah I do, I'll call her on our way back. But let's go back home before Elle returns and becomes suspicious." She said and I nodded in agreement.
"Ryan take us home." I said to the driver, the guard was sitting by his side already.
"Ok ma'am." He started the car and we drove off.
I'm having the feeling that the person behind this might want to come after Alex again, now that she's popular and even close to her blood without knowing.
Mrs Hanna return soon please, you're the only one that can tell us what went wrong.
