FINAL CHAPTER
DIVA'S POV
I watched with teary eyes as mom and dad alighted from the jet and ran towards Alexis who had immediately taken off after them. Yeah, it's noon already and we are back in Sacramento at the Jetport precisely.
Aunt Hanna and I had successfully explained it all to Ariel and she was initially stunned of course, but now she's clearly excited and happy to know she has parents and we are siblings.
The Jetport was filled with cars and vehicles of newsmen and reporters as they hung around taking the scene and broadcasting live.
My closest friends were here also, Carl, Jade, Jasmine, DSD crew, Kim Lisa, Emerald and Roe, Lucia, Katie, Even Arianna, Jay, my bestfriends and of course, my heartcode, Daniel. He was standing right beside me with his arm wrapped over my shoulders while I leaned on him.
I couldn't stop thanking them all again, they really tried a lot. If not for them all I might have lost Ariel the second time without even realizing it.
Aunt Hanna and her husband were beside us as she sniffed tearily on seeing the awesome reunion. Mom just released her after hugging for what seems like forever and Dad picked her up and swirled around with her in his arms as she let out bubbles of laughter.
We already made plans with Aunt Hanna to change the name on the grave of the child from ARIEL LIANA SCOTT to ALEXIS MILAN. Although the grave was in our home in LA.
I laughed and wiped my eyes, it's finally over.
I remain grateful to Aunt Hanna for walking down the science hallway on that day with Ariel as Alexis then. That very day was the day my life changed for the better, the day God said to me; your life can be much more fabulous.
I met my lost sister whom I thought was dead and also met my soulmate. I'll be forever grateful for that day....
I turned to Dan and hugged him tight, burying my face in his chest.
TWO MONTHS LATER
NARRATIVE
NYC DANCE COMPETITION
"....and for our final participants, we give it up to the Dazzling Stars Dancers!! DSD!!!"
Screaming and cheering followed immediately as their millions of fans screamed their names. Ever since Ariel was declared the lost but returned daughter of the Scott's, their fans increased double the numbers they once were. They were no doubt, now the leading dance crew in America.
The five girls all dressed up in same outfits with only slight difference to Diva's own since she's the leader, had their backs turned to the viewers on stage.
Immediately their music/beat of interest was turned on, they skillfully turned to the stage and began performing several incredibly dance styles, which none of the onlookers had ever seen before. Many squealed and screamed in pleasure as they beheld the scene. No doubt they were the best so far and are definitely winning this award too as America's best dance crew.
Kim Lisa and Saline nailed it with their extremely skillful breakdancing. Rosy and Black Diva did great at locking and popping. Together they did the up rock too and Alexis wrapped it up with a boogaloo dance style.
When they were through, Everyone stood up and cheered, screaming and clapping enthusiastically.
Timothy and Elizabeth Scott weren't left out in the jubilation as they blew kisses to their daughters who laughed and returned them. The idols weren't left out either, from their VVIP section, they laughed, waved and cheered their girls too. Kim Lisa's friend, Jian and her boyfriend were present too and they weren't left out in the cheering, neither was Carl and the rest of their friends.
Their director and manager felt proud of yet another achievement from the girls.
As they finally walked downstage to the waiting arms of their love ones, although not yet announced, the winning crew was clear to every sensible individual present there.
UP DSD!!! UP DSD!!! UP DSD!!!! The crowd cheered....
DIVA'S POV
~Few hours later~
I smiled as Dan and I sat atop his car, watching the rise and fall of the waves.
After the competition, my parents had flown back to LA with Ariel, I would be returning later with the girls.
Dan decided to bring me here to this not so quiet beach in New York city for reasons best known to him.
"So how are you preparing to return back to school JD love? summer holidays will be over in a week." I asked as I looked sideways at him while sipping from my apple drink. He smiled as he stared into my eyes then he took my free hand in his.
"In as much as you'll always be with me, it's fine. I'll be glad to return to school with you by my side." He whispered and I blushed and looked away shyly. I'm always shy when with him.
"You know, this is the exact same spot we met fourteen years ago. Same period of the year, same beach." He said and that was when I realized he was right.
"Oh my goodness! You are so right honey. This is the exact spot a little boy of ten interrupted my quiet and got me really interested." I said, smiling as I looked into his eyes and memories of the incident flashed. His beautiful looks and mesmiring eyes were still the same, how can I forget?
"And this was the exact same spot an eight year old girl, stole my heart away." He said smiling too as his eyes bored into mine.
"Thanks for bringing me here." I whispered. He smiled and looked away.
"Can I ask you a question?" He asked.
"Sure. Anything." I said.
"What will you say or do if someone proposes marriage to you?" He asked. I looked down at the water thoughtfully.
"Well it depends on who's asking and I've got to graduate from school first before getting married." I stared back at him. "But no one's ask...Wait, Dan...you are..." I stuttered when I realized what he meant, he stared back at me. His eyes burning with undeniable love and affection for no other than me.
"Yes sweetheart. I want you to be my fiancée from now till after your graduation and then as my wife from then on. I can't bear losing you to anyone else. I won't survive if anything..."
"JD love?" I called in surprise and excitement, Interrupting his boyish whining.
"No one's ever gonna take me away from you and that's a promise. My love for you is till infinity, you know that. I love you so much and I know you love me too. So yes! If it'll make you happy, I'm saying yes right now to marrying you." I said and his face broke into a surprise and pleasant boyish grin.
"Really?!" He asked.
"Yes really." I smiled and before I knew it Dan had me in his arms and was swirling me around in excitement. I couldn't hold back my laughter....
Was I so light?
He stopped swirling and I wrapped my legs around his waist.
"Yes?" He asked again as he looked with slightly raised face at me.
"Yes Honey! But that's till two years, you'll have to let me graduate in peace." I looked down at his face and he smiled.
"Thank you beautiful." He said as he leaned up and kissed me, which I gladly reciprocated wrapping my hands around his neck, as the wind toyed with our hair.
