LUCIA'S POV
I waved John goodbye after he had dropped me off at home. I watched his car drive out of the vicinity and I smiled, then turn around and walked into the Mansion.
On getting to my room, I dropped my bag on the couch and fell down on my bed facing the ceiling.
My life has been filled with pleasant colours since I met John. After what I did through campus radio few days back, I feel like a heavy burden was lifted off me. I feel light-hearted and so happy. However I still need to apologise personally to Diva for everything, I've not just gotten the time yet...
I raised my phone to my face and noticed I've got a voicemail from ex-bestfriend Elina. What does she want? Why can't she just forget about me? I made to ignore the voicemail but on second thought decided to check it. She's never sent me a voicemail before, this is the first time so far and since she's so persistent, I should hear her out.
I tapped on the voice message and it began to play..
'Hi Lucia, I know you don't wanna have anything to do with me but I've got some information about Diva Scott that you'll find very useful to you. If you wanna know more about this info, call me when you get this voicemail so we could arrange a way for us to meet and discuss about it. It's not something that could be conversed on phone. Call me if you're in.' It says and I sighed.
Diva Scott? What are you up to now Elina?

JAY'S POV
Several thoughts ran through my head as I cupped my mouth in extreme bewilderment.
How could this be?? CEO of VK'S Pharmaceutical involved in such unspeakable crimes? Oh my God!! What do I do now?
I ran my hands through my hair in confusion. Geez!! This clearly means our suspicion was right. The kid is Diva's blood and from the look of things, she's in danger. How do I explain this to the girls? I mean, Diva isn't aware neither did she ever suspect Alexis could be her sister. They clearly buried a baby nine years ago so what could be wrong? What am I missing?
Wait, this woman said nine years ago and nine years ago Diva lost her baby sister. And that man, he was supposed to inject a baby to death so what happened? Did he took another woman's child and killed her instead?? Damn! This is so confusing... Should I tell Saline? What can she do? She'll just panick and run to Diva. No! I shouldn't bother the girls, I and Dan can handle this situation as Roe's traveling. I should tell them...
I was turning slightly to my side but I nearly jolted out of my bed on seeing them beside me already, staring with shocked faces at my laptop. I must have been so lost in thoughts I didn't noticed them earlier.
"Are you kidding me Jay? How on Earth will someone do such and why??" Roe asked in astonishment as he collapsed fully on my bed. I and Dan exchanged meaningful glances.
"Let's handle VK'S pharmaceutical first before informing the girls." Dan said and I nodded.
"We have to carry out an investigation on whatever happened nine years ago, that man there will be our lead. We get him and we get her!" I added vigorously.
"Should I postpone my trip so we get this sorted out?"
"Roe you don't need to. What will you say to Emerald or your father?" I said glancing briefly at him.
"I wouldn't dare miss this bro. Don't worry about Penny and my father, I'll settle it. Diva's already family, I don't mind helping out." Roe said and we smiled.
"Thanks bro." Dan smiled at him before turning back to the laptop.
"Mark's gotta get the boys!" He said determinedly and we nodded in support.
CILIA'S POV
The kids hug each other again whilst I and Elle leaned by the car and watched them. Moments later they separated and I noticed Candy placed something quickly on Alexis palm and I smiled. They are both so adorable, brings back childhood memories of the girls and I. I'm really glad Alexis turned out to be family though she doesn't know that yet...
"I'll escort you in now, Miss Candace." The escort lady my dad sent said to pick Candace said and she smiled.
"Goodbye Babydoll." She said and I chuckled and squatted a little while she wrapped her arms around me and I did same, kissing her hair in the process. Babydoll is what she calls me.
"My lollipop, I'll see you soon alright? Goodbye and say hi to Mom and Dylan; if he's around." I said and released her.
"Bye now, I love you." I kissed her cheeks and she smiled and kissed mine too.
"Goodbye. Remember you promised Elle, bring Alex home for summer holidays." She said looking up at Elle. Elle smiled and ruffled her hair.
"Of course I will, now come give me a hug." She squatted down and Candy hugged her, she patted her back gently.
"Have a safe flight dearie, we'll see you soon." She said as they disengaged.
"Bye!" Candy turned around and walked with the escort lady and some guards. She turned and waved at Alex who smiled and waved back before she was helped into the Jet.
"Let's go." Elle said and a guard opened the car door and we all stepped in.
I glanced sideways at Alexis, she was staring out the window as the jet took off into the sky. I folded my lips and brought out my phone and quickly texted Tania as the car left the jetport vicinity.
'Any update love?' I sent.
'Yes. The nurse caught on CCTV footage goes by the name Evan Gomez. He's presently in New York City, the agents monitoring him said he was at VK'S Pharmaceutical company few minutes ago and is heading home presently.' She replied and I smiled.
'Have the agents take him. We need to question him.' I sent.
'They'll do just that.' she sent and I went offline.
VK'S Pharmaceutical company? Why does that name sound familiar? And why will Evan Gomez go there Immediately on his return? What's the deal here??
Wait! VK'S Pharmaceutical company? Isn't it that woman's company? The one mother once told me was once friends with Mr Timothy? Yes! Vera Edgar, his friend from Oxford University, so what's happened? Why did Evan go to her company? He's a nurse not a pharmacist or he went to order drugs for McKenzie's Hospital? I don't just get this, it's so confusing.
I looked sideways at Elle and Alexis, Elle was watching her smilingly as she played a game on her phone.

LUCIA'S POV
"Look, you better not be kidding me Elina." I said into my phone which I had placed on my vanity table, since I was braiding my hair and it's on loudspeaker.
"Why would I do that Luciana? Just tell me the day you'll like us to meet up and you'll know I'm not kidding." She said and I sneered.
"I see. Well then, let's meet tomorrow morning. You'll have to decide the venue but note; It's gotta be here in Sacramento, I got no time to fly down to LA." I said and she chuckled.
"Of course dear Lucia, you don't need to worry your pretty little head over that. Besides we no longer live in LA, we now live in NYC after my dad died." An awkward silence followed briefly.
Yeah I heard about his death, almost same time when my aunt fell ill but you know, I never returned because I was SCARED of Diva Scott.
"I'll text you the address." She said and I hung up.
Almost immediately, a text message popped in my phone. I let go my hair and checked on the message.
'Balimont's Cafe, Juvenile's street. I'll see you there.'
How annoying she is! Not like I really care about her little news, just wanna know what she's up to.
I scoffed and continued with my hair.
