ALEXIS'S POV
I peeled my eyes open slowly and frowned upon seeing my environment and situation. My eyes widened more when I recalled what happened. I sat up quickly and looked around the unpleasant old looking warehouse. Goons stood around watching me strictly.
I became scared upon realizing that I've been kidnapped.
Oh no! I lost Candy's gift bracelet. I said within me on looking at my wrist and not finding the rainbow colored leather bracelet she gifted me on our parting.
Wait! Why am I here anyway? Why will someone kidnap me within the vicinity of my school? Everyone must be scared right now; Hector, Aunt Hanna, Diva and the DSD girls, including those handsome idols.
It's a pity I didn't get to see Diva's surprise. I'm scared.
Oh don't be scared Alexis, Diva would come rescue you. She's your angel remember?...
I looked down at my other wrist and smiled secretly. The bracelet I promised never to takeoff was still there.
Oops! But I lost Candy's bracelet, I hope Hector finds it. But he's probably in New York already. I don't even know the exact part of the world I'm in right now...
My thoughts were interrupted by someone.
"I see you are awake already." She said. I looked up to see an unfamiliar young lady walking into the warehouse with several thug-like guards behind her.
She offered me a sly smile as one of them hurriedly placed a chair for her to seat on. She sat down directly facing me and I looked at her, wondering what she wants with a nine year old.
"Who are you? And why did you take me from my school?" I asked boldly looking her in the eye.
She looked at me before suddenly letting out a long maniacal laughter.
I wasn't even scared anymore because I know my Diva would rescue me.
But what if she doesn't?
Shssssh! Be optimistic, I know she will.

ELINA'S POV
I looked at the pretty little girl and laughed maniacally.
Oh she doesn't know!
"Who am I? Who am I guys?" I looked at the hired thugs beside me as I laughed more. They joined me in laughter.
"Oh well beautiful. That's not for you to worry about." I cooed. "But as for your second question..." I played with my nails as I stared at her. "Awwn, I really got nothing against you, but you see I can't let you go because I've got to do this to reach the top. Besides, your parents cause this." I said and she stared at me in shock and confusion.
"How do you mean? I got no parents." She said and I couldn't help but notice how cute and innocent she look but I shouldn't let that distract me. I've got a goal here.
"Of course you don't know because even they themselves are unaware of your existence."
"I'm not getting you Miss. Are you sure you didn't get the wrong person?" She said and I was momentarily stunned.
How is she this bold and not shedding a single tear, neither is she begging for freedom? Most kids her age would already be shivering and crying right away but hers is different. She's just throwing questions boldly at me.
Looking at her right now made me remember Diva from nine years ago, she had looked so terrifying when she had pushed Lucia against a wall then. I shuddered at the thought of it. Hope I'm not making a mistake with this?
Hey! Elina of that day is different from Elina of the past three years till date. I chided myself.
"I see Diva's rubbed off some of her boldness on you. It's not surprising, afterall you are b..." I was interrupted by my guard who actually looks like a thug.
"Boss V is calling now, Miss." He said and I collected the phone from him and placed it to my ear, after tapping on the receiver.
"Yes Mom." I said.
"Is it done?" She asked and I smirked as I looked at the kid who was watching me silently.
"Almost. The ship would be arriving shortly with the client, soon she'll be riding from New Orleans faraway to Thailand where they'll never find her." I said mockingly and I heard her malicious laughter from the background.
"You've done well Elina, just like you should." She said and I rolled my eyes away.
"Just keep your end of the deal mother." I said dismissively.
"You know me Elina. Complete the task and come home safely, the position awaits your return." She said and I smirked and hung up.
Then I gave it back to him and turned back to her, she's been staring all the while unflinchingly at me.
"So like was saying, you just prepare for your new life in thai..." I was interrupted by the sudden sounds of gunshots and I quickly took shelter behind a container. But not after dragging the kid with me.
VERA EDGAR'S POV
I laughed loudly as I swivel round about on my office seat. Of course, it had to be successful like the first one.
I laughed more as the events from nine years ago flashed through my memory.
By the way I haven't seen or heard from Evan for a while now. Well that's not my problem.
My laughter was short lived when my office door suddenly flew open and a panting Merida and Bruno ran in.
I was about yelling at them when a furious looking Elizabeth and Timothy followed in with men from the armed forces, including police men.
What in the world is going on?! How and why would Elizabeth and the ever busy Tim come to my company of all places in New York?
Last I remember, it's been over eight years we met eye to eye. And what are this police men doing here?!
I stood up hurriedly from my seat, brazing myself for the unknown.
"What's the meaning of this? What's the commotion all about? What gave you the right to barge into my office unannouned? Tim what are you..." My last sentence was cutted off as a result of the painful slap I received from none other than Elizabeth. I looked at her in rage, ready to explode.
"What did you do that for, you swine?" I yelled. She was about hitting me again but her husband pulled her away as she sobbed.
"You wicked soul!!" She screamed. "How dare you do that to my daughter?! How dare you exchange my child you witch!! You're so heartless and inhuman but today your evil has caught up with you! Because I'll make you pay dearly for those nine years of pain you left my family!!! It's a promise. You are paying as from now bitch!!!" She yelled and my eyes widened in shock, my hand took hold of the table for support.
Since they know that means Elina is clearly in trouble too. She should be smart enough to escape, I'll have to deal with this case with my lawyers, like I had done with several others, provided they've got no evidence. But how did they find out, I thought Elina already took the child? Or did they already discovered the hidden mystery of nine years ago before we attacked? DAMN!! Evan is to blame for all this, if only he had done as I instructed nine years ago, I wouldn't be faced with this nightmare!!!
I looked around and saw the gathering crowd, my employees all looking at me clearly shocked. I have to compose myself. They probably don't have any prove so I shouldn't give in easily.
I stood up properly and smirked secretly at Elizabeth. Before casting my eyes on Tim.
He was still as handsome as ever...
"What are you talking about Ma'am? I ask what's the reason for such commotion?" I asked in feign ignorance as calmly as possible.
"You'll have to come with us for questioning ma'am." The senior officer said and he nodded to his partner.
A police officer stepped forward and handcuffed my hands.
"Ma'am..." Bruno stuttered worriedly and I smirked and said to him, still in mock innocence.
"Don't worry Bruno, just ready my lawyer." I said confidently as I was led away. I stopped briefly to look at Tim.
"There's no need for that madam. Look at the projector." An officer said and I turned backward slightly. I almost fainted out of shock when my eyes landed on my office projector only for me to see the video of myself and Evan discussing few days ago. I quickly looked away and bowed my head shamefully as I heard several hate comments from my employees, directed against me.
I always knew the incident from nine years ago as my worst nightmare ever but never this worst. This Is definitely the end for me, no escaping...
If only looks could kill, I'll be long dead by now. Elizabeth's rage-filled eyes would be fast enough to melt me into vapor.
"I regret the day I met you Vera. It despises me to know I once called a deceptive being as you 'friend'." Tim spat and my heart sank. My heart sank more when I heard him say.
"Officers you already have all the prove you'll need. Just make sure she pays dearly for all her crimes including the illegal drug production and trafficking." He said and that was when I knew.
I'M DOOMED CERTAINLY...
Several reporters ran in that moment, I couldn't even lift my head high again.
Sorry Elina your evil, envious and stupid revenge tasty mother, have pulled you alongside her to the mud...
NARRATIVE
NEW ORLEANS
The three girls catwalked into the warehouse all dressed up in similar black leather outfits and boots, with their guards and agents following behind them while many goons dropped down. They were shooting to injure not kill, they weren't that bloody!
They looked totally different from the Sweethearts Dazzling Stars Dancers(DSD) the whole world was familiar with.
Their expression was one and deadly, as their eyes scanned around for their target. While their guards continued to clear the way for them with their revolvers.
Fear gripped Alexis from where she was being held down by Elina, who had forcefully covered her mouth to avoid her screaming. Alexis knew she had to be strong even though the gunshots doesn't seem to be ending, she knew she'd never forget this day in the history of her life. All she could do was to place her too hands over her ears to shut out the heavy sounds. She was still trying to fathom what the lady was telling her earlier when they heard gunshots. She trembled severely with her eyes shut tight and for the first time since she was kidnapped, tears ran down her cheeks.
Elina wasn't paying any attention to the kid, although she had her mouth covered. From the place she was hiding in between large containers, she watched in pure terror as her goons fell down in pain. She knew what awaits her if the really furious Diva should set her eyes on her.
The last gunshot was heard and the last goon dropped down on the floor writhing in pain as he held his leg.
"Elina!! Come out now will ya? Or should I fetch you out?" She heard and saw Rosy say, whilst bubbling a gum.
She looked around and watched as they drew closer to her hiding spot. And on looking down at the weeping Alexis, an idea occurred to her.
She looked down and saw a pen knife a little bit away that had fallen out of Scorpion's hand when he was shot on his arm.
She slowly and carefully stretched her hand towards it and was about picking it up when a foot stepped on it. She looked up slowly as perspiration formed on her forehead, her eyes came in contact with the blazing bloodshot eyes of Diva. She looked away immediately as she felt something tricked down her legs.
Jeez!!! She peed on herself!!!
She never knew she was still very much scared of Diva Scott till now. She also knew Lucia might have been the one who ratted her out.
"Your mother's fight?! You Idiot?! Now I'll show you a real sister's fight!"Diva yelled.
Diva pulled her up roughly by her hair to a standing position. And just like the speed of light, she sent her hands flying across to either side of Elina's cheeks. The impact of the slap sent her sprawling hard against the floor, Diva's ringed fingers were clearly visible on her cheeks. She spatted out blood.
"Don't worry, I'll have you join your mother in jail right away, then you can have a real mother's fight." She added venomously.
Rosy and Saline watched silently not wanting to interfere because they knew she was really mad right now. Interfering might guarantee them access to several free slaps from her.
"How dare you little thing mess with me?! Elina Wood! How dare you try to harm my sister?!!" She yelled as she dragged her up again and was about hitting her when Alexis's tiny voice stopped her.
"Black Diva?" She called as tears ran down her cheeks. "You came..."
Diva dropped Elina roughly on the floor and ran to Alexis immediately. She hugged her tight as all she could say was...
"Ariel, My Ariel, Ariel." She said as tears consisting of many emotions, ran down her cheeks.
The girls watched the scene and also couldn't help but hug each other and cry too, as the agents did what they are supposed to do.
Elina was handcuffed and dragged away along side her goons.
