Two days had passed since they shared that moment on the beach. It has also been two days since Jin last saw his girlfriend too. He also did not get a single call or text from her. Jin, on the other hand, has no concerns about her.
Before they parted ways on the day they went to the beach, Himari told him she would return to Quintel City to check on her restaurant. Jin doubted that was her only reason. Still, he said nothing and simply accepted her explanation. Before she left, Himari kissed his lips one last time.
Jin was extremely surprised by himself that day. He was the one who initiated the kiss. And his reasoning was too simple. Jin finds Himari so beautiful that he decided to kiss her lips to express his appreciation. 
Himari is already a beautiful lady. But the orange sunlight on her skin and the gentle wind blowing her hair made her even more beautiful than usual. In Jin's eyes, she appeared ethereal and much more alive. When she smiled with her eyes curved slightly, Jin simply kissed her lips. 
They never made a fuss over it. Even though they do not say it, they both know what they are thinking. It was simply a kiss. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with it because they are in a relationship. 
After signing the remaining documents on his desk, Jin went to the gym and lifted some weight. He repeated it several times before jogging on the treadmill for nearly thirty minutes. Jin must maintain his physical fitness despite his hectic schedule.
Just as he shut off the treadmill, Jin got a call from Himari. Perhaps she has already returned and is ready to turn his peaceful life upside down. Jin takes her call and sighs.
"Himari—"
(Jin, I'm back now! Did you miss me?)
"I'm busy."
(Yeah, sure. I am busy too. So did you miss me?)
"And why should I miss you?" 
(Because I am your girlfriend and it is your duty as my boyfriend to miss me all the time.)
"That's just full of nonsense."
(No, it isn't. Just look at Ace and Lily! They love each other, right? Aren't you jealous of them?)
"No." Jin answered with a sigh. "Having a girlfriend is just too troublesome for me."
Jin hears Himari gasp on the other end of the line, as if she can not believe he is saying those words to her aloud.
(How can you be so heartless, Jin? Have you forgotten that I am your girlfriend now? What if you accidentally break my fragile and soft heart? Are you ready to take responsibility for me?)
"That's the silliest thing you've ever said. You are never fragile. And stop talking like that as if something happened between us. You are too shameless."
Maybe this woman will never change. What fragile and soft heart? That woman must have a steel heart to lead such a large mafia organization in this city. If Himari truly had a fragile heart, she should have cried after shooting Dansel Choi three times.
And the way that woman speaks ambiguous words in broad daylight is something Jin wishes to erase from her. She always speaks as if something is happening between them. They are simply two people who were forced to be together due to their pride as leaders of their respective groups. If the incident in the bar had never occurred, Jin and Himari would not be in this chaotic situation.
(How come I am the shameless one when it was you who eagerly kissed me at the beach?)
Jin chose not to respond this time. Despite his desire to refute her words, Himari is correct. Instead of waiting for his response, Himari chuckles on the other end of the line before hearing a car engine in the background.
(Don't worry about it, Jin. I enjoyed that kiss too. Anyway, you can always kiss me when you want.)
"Himari, you—"
(You are my boyfriend, Jin. It is natural to kiss your girlfriend like that.)
"...You are really crazy, Himari."
(I know, Jin. That's one of the reasons why you love me, right?) 
Himari continues before he has time to respond.
(In any case, I can not ask you out today. I have something important to do today.)
Jin raises an eyebrow as he hears that.
"Oh? I thought you are just good at causing trouble."
(Rude. For your information, I am also a busy woman. Thank you very much.)
"Tch. Yeah, sure."

Himari ended the call without waiting for his response, as she usually does. Jin just lets out a sigh before entering the shower to remove the sweat from his body. Jin exits the gym and decides to meet Lester today. Lester informed him yesterday that their next black market auction would be a huge event. He does not know the other details yet, so he should find Lester and talk about the auction together.
Jin was at a gas station waiting for his tank to be filled when he noticed a woman wearing a blue hoodie and pants. Her hair is also tied into a loose bun. He only caught a glimpse of the woman's back, but Jin recognizes her everywhere. 
Jin is convinced that the woman is Himari. She most likely escaped her guards again and decided to roam the city. Seeing Himari in those clothes is now something he expects. However, there is something unusual about her today.
She is walking with children who are eager to pull her hands. If he is not mistaken, they are walking towards the massive park behind the central city's towering buildings. There is nothing wrong with Himari going to the park. But Jin is more curious about who are those children and why is Himari bringing them to the park.
Jin checks the time and decides to follow that woman since he still has an hour until he meets Lester today. After paying the gas boy, Jin takes the wheel of his car and follows Himari to the park. When Jin arrives, he can hear children laughing and see the park's bright atmosphere. A few families are having a picnic on the corner, while the rest are playing with their pets. 
It is easy to spot the woman in the park wearing a blue hoodie. As expected, that woman is definitely Himari. She is sitting on a red-checkered mat and is surrounded by small children. There is also a book on her lap, and the children's attention is drawn to her.
