Jin does not approach her immediately. He hides first and observes Himari as she interacts with the children. She is smiling as she usually does. However, Himari's smile towards the children is not the practiced smile she always wears. Himari certainly has the purest smile he has ever seen from her.
A small girl approaches Himari and pulls her sleeves to draw her attention. Himari lowers her head slightly, and the child whispers something into her ear. Himari then laughs and kisses the little girl's cheek. The other children try to get her attention, and she patiently speaks to each of them. It turns out that those children also want a kiss on the cheek from Himari. 
After that, Himari looks around and notices an ice cream vendor near them. When Himari stands up, the children form a long line and hold each other's hands. It is quite amusing to watch because Himari resembles their mother duck, and the children are her small chicks. 
Himari approaches the ice cream vendor, then pulls a long wallet from her pocket. Jin notices Himari paying the ice cream vendor before facing the children. The small children quickly surround the ice cream cart, but they do not make a fuss. They are simply waiting patiently for the vendor to serve them their ice cream.
Jin notices Himari pulling her phone out of her pocket while she waits for the children to finish their ice cream. Jin's phone rings as soon as she puts it to her ear. With a raised brow, he notices her name flashing across the screen. Jin answers her phone call by clicking the green button.
"What?" 
(Why do not you join me instead of watching from a distance?)
"You knew?"
(I am just guessing because I saw your car earlier. But my luck is very good today because you decided to follow me.)
Himari is looking around while their call is still active. After a few seconds, she notices him standing behind a massive pillar. Himari smiles at him and waves her free hand at him.
(Come on, Jin. You should meet these children. They are all nice.)
After that, Himari ends their call. When he looks in her direction again, Himari is no longer paying any attention to him and she starts talking with the children again. 
Jin sighs and steps out of his hiding place, walking steadily towards Himari. She wraps her hand around his arm and pulls him closer to her when he is only two steps away. She then gave him a quick kiss on the side of the lips before smiling. 
"Did you miss me that much, Jin?" Himari asked with a teasing smile.
"And why should I miss you?" 
"Because just like what I'd said earlier, I am your pretty girlfriend." 
"Tch. An annoying and crazy girlfriend."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever that can make you sleep better at night. But I am still your girlfriend and that will not change."
Before he can say anything, Himari separates herself from him and approaches the ice cream vendor. The children now have ice cream cones in their hands, and they are eating them before they melt. Himari returns with two ice cream cones in her hands. 
"This is for you!" Himari said. "Fortunately, the vendor has plain vanilla flavor. My treat for you since you miss your girlfriend a lot."
"I never said that I miss you."
"Yeah? But I miss you so please accept this vanilla ice cream."
"I don't eat sweet desserts."
"But your girlfriend loves to eat sweet things like ice cream. You should comply with my wishes."
Then Jin clicks his tongue.
"Tch. You can have both of them. I really care about your sweet tooth anyway."
"Aww. You're so sweet. But I am sweeter than you. So please have it. Can't you see the ice cream is starting to melt?"
Without waiting for his response, Himari quickly hands him the ice cream cone. She pushes it near his clothes, leaving Jin with no choice but to hold her hand and stop her actions. But Himari seizes the opportunity and transfers the ice cream cone into his hand. Himari is satisfied and smiles sweetly at him before beginning to eat her chocolate ice cream.  
Jin opens his mouth and eats the ice cream, silently telling her that he is only doing it once. The vanilla flavor of the ice cream quickly spread in his mouth. Unexpectedly, it is not too much sweet just like what he is expecting. Jin ignores Himari's smile as he finally eats the ice cream she gave him.
After finishing their ice cream, the children gathered around Himari. Probably five or six years old, the older boy asked Himari if they could play on the playground in the middle of the park. The kids immediately grab Himari's arm and beg her to let them play there as soon as they hear that. Himari gives them a kind smile before glancing at their faces.
"Alright. I will allow you all to play there. But you know the rules, right?" Himari asked.
The children nod their heads.
"And what are those?"
"Never, ever talk to strangers. We have to find you right away if they start to get too noisy." The girl with two pigtails said.
"Also don't accept any gifts from strangers!" A chubby little boy said.
"We should also look out and take care of each other." A petite boy said.
"And we should not fight." The little girl wearing a pink shirt said.
"Very good!" Himari praised them. "Alright. You can all play at the playground. After that, we are going to eat a lot of delicious food later."
When the children hear it, they all cheer and clap their hands. 
"Okay. Go now. Be careful while playing."
After receiving permission from Himari, the children rush to the playground. They are all wearing huge smiles. Their laughter brightens the atmosphere of the playground. After observing the children for a while as they played, Himari turned to face Jin. 
Himari blinks her eyes as she realizes Jin is staring at her intently. She was not aware that he was already staring at her. Probably because she is overly focused on the children. 
"You are good at dealing with children," Jin said. 
"I guess so." Himari replied. Then her eyes widened slightly as she remembered something. "Oh, right. I also comforted the child you scared in the elevator when we first met."
"You are making it sounds like I did it on purpose."
Himari laughs when she hears that statement. She grabs Jin's arm and leads him to the checkered mat she had set up earlier, inviting him to sit beside her. Jin looks at her for a moment before sitting on it. There is still enough space between them.
