Claire POV ~
Despite being drenched by the rain I was very happy. After entering the house, I first lean my back at the door to calm my heart beat. Am definitely ending up with a heart attack. But at least I will die happy.
After smiling like a fool for about ten minutes, I stood off my shoes and made my way to my bathroom. I won’t think anyone is at home.
I went and changed my clothes and decided to do my lundary. I washed his hoodie with extra care. It’s still smells like him. Oh how I wish I can keep it with me but that won’t say good of me. After all he lend it to me because he didn’t say anything about giving it to me for free.
After washing the hoodie, I packaged it together with his umbrella in bag I will return it to him tomorrow. But I was to just give it to him empty handed, so I decided to brake him some cupcakes. I just hope the ingredients are available because since we moved into the state, I never made use of the kitchen to cook. I entered into the kitchen and search the cabinets. Luckily enough for me, all the ingredient are available. So I decided to bake eight pieces of cupcakes for him with the word “THANK YOU” written on it. After appreciating my work, I decided to take it to my room before dad or mom will come and eat it up.
As soon the rain stopped and the phone network was back, I quickly video called my friends in Australia via our WhatsApp group chat.
“Hello bi*ch!”. Joyce scream into the phone.
“And look who remember us today”. Elsa said as she gave me her middle finger.
“Don’t tell you guys are about to start the gist without waiting for me.” Lily said while frowning she is obviously still angry about the last time we had a video call. She wast available so we had it without her.
“Hello girls i missed you so much” I told them sincerely from my heart.
“Awwww we missed you too”. Elsa responded and gave me a heart using her hands.
“So tell us what is the reason for the big smile on your face”. Lily said. Trust her to always notice every detail about you.
“Nothing! I just feel like smiling”. I replied while blushing the more.
“Oh my god you are even blushing, who is the guy?”. Joyce asked.
“What! No! There is no guy”. I said very quickly and blushing deeper. That most have gave me away.
“Looking at the way you react, there is definitely a guy”. Joyce insisted.
I took a deep breath; “Well there is this guy ….”
“Ahhhhhh!” All of them screamed together cutting me off.
“Did you just say a boy?”. Elsa screamed. If they continue screaming this way, I will soon turn deaf.
“The world is definitely coming to an end! Claire it’s blushing because of a boy!”. Lily winked at me.
“A boy hh? Who would ever believe the time will come when you talk about a boy. You have finally grown up!”. Joyce said while wiping away fake tears from her eyes.
I rolled my eyes at them. This is definitely the reason why I didn’t want to tell them about my new found crush. Knowing that they are going to keep teasing me, I decided to change the topic.
“Guys guess who I meet and talk to today!” I sat up straight excitedly.
“Nice try, you want to change the topic of discussion.”
“Who? The guy you are thinking about?”. Lily and Joyce said at thesame time.
“Seriously guys? Anyway I talked to the one and only Alissa Gray!”. I screamed the last part waiting for them to boot in what I just said.
“No way!”
“What! How! Where!”.
“Like seriously or are you joking?”.
They all exclaimed at thesame giving me their full attention. Well at least I am to divert the talk.
I nod my head at them; “ Yeap the Super model Alissa Gray! She attend my school together with her brother and cousins. We are in the same class.”
“Wow now am jealous, first of all you get to travel in a private jet, you are now attending a rich kids private school and you are even meeting celebrities. I will ask my dad to look for a transfer. I refused to be left behind.” Elsa said as she holds her hands to her chest and I stick my tongue out at her.
“Wait she and her family members goes to your school does that mean you meet her handsome brother too?” Joyce asked.
How on earth did she know about mine Xander. I thought. Wait what? Since when did he become “mine” I must really be going crazy.
“Hey! Snap out of your thoughts I asked you a question. Have you meet the infamous Alexander Gray or not yet”. Joyce reasked me looking very excited. I guess she is one of his admirers. Lord God! How on earth am I supposed to tell her that he is the guy am talking about?
“Well yes, I have seen at the cafeteria. He doesn’t talk to people at all”. I responded with a straight voice.
“Why will talk to just anyone? Do you even know who is ? He is the heir to a billionaire dollar empire. So of course he doesn’t have time for everyone.”. Joyce stated boldly. How did she even no so much about him? Then I remembered a think called the internet exists. I made a mental note to search about him later on.
“Wow Joyce! Just wow!”. Elsa said.
“What! Can’t I know more about my future husband?”. Joyce said. This girl must really be crazy.?how can someone who she has never meet be declared as her future husband?.
“You are really something else Joyce. How did you know that he will be your future husband. Are you a fortune teller?”. Lily asked Joyce the exact thing that is on my mind.
“You might never know! I might be one” Joyce stated and blinked her eyes at us and then started acting as if she is casting a spell.
We all laughed it off and continue gisting. The talk about my crush was forgotten and I am very much grateful for that.
As soon we ended the video call, I quickly went to the internet and searched about Alexander Gray the guy that makes my heart beat like crazy.
