The next day, I was excited to go to school. I can't wait to meet Nicolas, and I can't wait to tell Bella everything! Ohmygod
"Seriously? Ohmygod, I could picture you two together in the next few weeks. Ohmygod!" Bella squealed when I told her about last night. I can't stop myself from smiling.
"Yeah, It's like a dream coming true." I sighed dreamily. She just chuckled. "Your plan is absolutely the bomb." she said. I made a face like I-know-right and we both ended up laughing.
At lunch, I saw Nicolas at his usual place. I waved at him and he just chuckled. Wow, that's new. At practice, I had so much fun with Nicolas. We can't stop laughing. It is just so funny! He told me about some weird girl crushing on him. He said they were creepy.
"They look at me like they wanted to eat me." He said, shuddering. I thought it was funny and cute.
"You have so many admirers!" I said, and he just glared at me. "I don't like them," he said, rolling his eyes. Of course. "So tell me, who do you like, huh?" I tease him as he smirks. "Me. I love myself. I'm just so beautiful."
I can't seem to stop laughing when he said that. He just chuckled, looking at me. Some people even stare weirdly at us. Even Miss J raised an eyebrow while looking at us. Nicolas freaking Flynn is just so funny! Even when we're on stage, Nicolas keeps saying things that make me laugh. Miss J even told me to be more serious. I told her it was Nicolas's fault and she just glared at him.
"Nicolas, stop making Rose laugh. What are you both talking about anyway? Mind to share?"
Miss J was indeed annoyed at him. He said sorry. He looks so cute, Ohmygod.
"Okay. We'll continue your scene later. Jack! stage now."
She said, shooing us away. Nicolas chuckled when she told us to get down from the stage.
"She's so annoying." Nicolas whispered to my ear.
I felt nervous. Why is he so close? I just nudged him and told him to shut up. He raised both his hands in the air and said he surrendered. Seriously, I had never seen this side of him. I'm curious where the annoying Nicolas went. But I think I like this Nicolas better.

"Come here. I want you to hear this."
He said as he told me to have a seat next to him and gave me his left earphone. I feel my cheeks getting warm when he sits this close to me. Ohmygod. I notice Caleb staring at us, but I pretend like I didn't see him.
"I hear nothing," I said, looking at him. "Just wait for it," he smiled.
I just wanted to poke his dimple right now! When he said that, it felt like he knew I was going to poke his simple. "No poking. Just listen, shush." he glared at me playfully.
I bit my lip. No, I cannot smile in front of him. He might think I'm trying to annoy him, but to be honest— I am actually. The song started. I heard the sound of a guitar. I was listening to the song like he told me to.

I didn't know the song had finished when Nicolas was smiling while looking at me. Weird?
"This song is beautiful," I said truthfully. "This song is for you." What? "To be honest, you make me shy. I'd be lying if I said I didn't freak out whenever you look at me. That's why I, um, treated you like that. I'm not used to this." He finished and chuckled.
I was speechless. Is this a freaking confession?!
"I never knew you were this sweet, Nicolas." I teased him. He looks at me. "I don't either." He said, staring into my eyes. Not even chuckling.
That's not a bad thing. Why does he sound like it's a bad thing?
"Did I seriously make you shy?" I was curious as hell. "Sometimes... when you're this close to me" He replied. "What if I kiss you right now?" I was staring at him. He turned his head to me. He shook his head and looked away.
"I'm not used to this." He looks annoyed.
"Don't worry, buddy. You'll get used to all of this soon enough." He was confused. "Should I be scared?" He raised an eyebrow. "Maybe."
He rolled his eyes when I said that. It was a beautiful day. I never knew Nicolas felt this way towards me. Isn't that so sweet? I don't know. Does he really feel shy whenever I'm around? I can't stop myself from smiling. His confession is making me like him EVEN more. Ohmygod, why did he suddenly become this sweet? Is this a green light I see? Oh god.
"Rose! I need you on the stage with Jack."
I heard Miss J said, I told her I'd be there in a minute. I was about to leave when Nicolas held my wrist.
"What's wrong?" I was confused.
He let go of my wrist and coughed. Huh? He stared at me, confused.
"Don't miss me too much." I said as he sheepishly smiled.
