Zhander's POV
I am in the middle of the meeting but kept on staring at my wrist watch, hoping to fast forward the time but can't. Nakakatatlong meeting na ako. Gusto kong umalis kahit sa kalagitnaan ng meeting but I can't risk the company and besides, my presence is required in this meeting and so I can't just leave whenever I want.
"That would be the end of our presentation." the presenters finally announced. Everyone then looked at me. 
"Okay, we'll include that one to the plan. Good job everyone." I said.
Everyone said their 'thank you' to me and to the shareholders before they exited the meeting room. 
I opened my phone to look for the time and it says 5:45. 
"Sir, you will be having a dinner with Mr Alvarez tonight. I have already made a reservation for-" Ms Cruz, my secretary, said but I cut her off. 
"Cancel it." I said. Tumayo ako at kinuha ang phone na nasa table and is about to leave. 
"I'm sorry sir?"
"Cancel the reservation. And please, call Mr Alvarez. Tell him I have an emergency and so the dinner will be scheduled some other time. " I explained further. Then I started walking throughout the room. I headed to my office to get my keys before heading to the parking lot. 
Right after when I slided into my car, my phone rings. It was my dad a.k.a the chairman. 
"Are you with Sabrinah right now?" He asked as soon as I pressed the answer button. I started the engine before answering.
"No, but I'm on way to her." 
"Lisa already told me about the situation and I hope Sabrinah is all right. She must be very shocked." He said full of concerns. He must be. 
"Yeah, that's why I will be there for her. She needs me." 
"That's good." He commented. 
"Yes, and I'll be hanging this call up now." I said. He just said okay and then he ended the call. 
I took a left turn to reach the hospital. It was already past seven when I arrived at the hospital cause I went to buy fruits because I know for sure Sabrinah haven't eaten and won't eat anything. I bought oranges, apples and grapes and put it on the table. 
I look around the room, It is a small room with a small table and mini sofa inside. Sabrinah is sleeping whilst holding her mother's hand with tears streaming down her face. 
I stared at her messy yet beautiful face. I can completely tell how many times she cried just by staring at her face. She looks completely mess. 
I took my coat off of me and put it on her. I wiped her tears and removed some hair covering her face. Even between her sleep, she's still not done crying. 
I lift her up and slowly put her on the sofa and kissed her on her forehead.

The next morning....
"Sabs, you need to eat now. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday." I heard this ex boyfriend of Sabrinah said as I entered the room from buying foods for Sabrinah's breakfast. The audacity of this man... 
It pissed me seeing him standing beside with Sabrinah. What pissed me more is that he holds Sabrinah's hands even if Sabrinah ignored him. 
Back off man. She doesn't need you anymore. I am here now, her HUSBAND, to take care of her. You cheated on her, f*cking cheated and now you're here to worry for her? Ha! 
"Sabs, listen to me please. You must eat..." He said, raising a bowl of whatever in front of Sabrinah. God knows how much I want to shove his face in it. I hope it's hot. Super duper hot. Or even hot enough to burn his smug of a face. 
" Erickson, stop it already. I don't feel like eating." Atta girl. I am silently celebrating in my mind. I love how shock she made him. 
Get lost now dude. You let her go. Now she's mine. Mine to care. Mine to cherish. And mine to worry so back off. She's all mine. I don't care if I'm all caveman here. If it concerns Sabrinah, it's my business.
"Just leave her," Finally I said after just watching them for a few minutes. "If you'll excuse us, she refused to eat your food already. Clearly you don't her that well if you don't know her preferences in food." I said in full confidence and placed all foods on the small table. 
Tumaas ang tingin ni Sabrinah sa akin but didn't say anything. 
"Zhander Taylor," Erickson said almost in a whisper. Or was it? More like he snarled in a greeted teeth 
"Yes, it's me. You must have heard already, Sabrinah and I got married already. We apologize for not inviting you at our wedding." I said. Lumapit ako sa table para ilagay ang dala Kong pagkain 'tapos humarap ulit Kay Erickson. 
" Mr Erickson Valdez, please excuse me and my wife." I said. 
"I understand." He said with a long face. Before leaving the room, he glances at Sabrinah who is currently not giving care. "Sabrinah, I'll leave you for now." 
"Take good care of her." He said, throwing a knife glare at me. 
"Even if you don't say it, I will because she's my wife."
 
Yeah, my wife. MINE.
