At the cafeteria where Nyx and Leo went to eat their lunch, they both saw Jaydin sitting alone at the table with cotton on his nose. They then went on to join him. Nyx tapped him in his shoulder and that made Jaydin terrified to look behind considering what just happened a while ago. But then Nyx said something, “Hey, how are you." Jaydin was then relieved that the voice of the man behind him was someone familiar to him. He then stood up to see if what he guessed was true, he's glad and sighed a sense of relief when he saw that it was his friend Nyx and Leo. “I'm fine, did you come here to eat right? Let me treat both of you today.” Jaydin replied happily. And before both of them could refuse, Jaydin then went to the counter and bought a bunch of food for them to eat. Leo and Nyx don't have much choice, but to eat what their friend Jaydin brings and join him at his table. “Thank you for helping me Leo, consider this as my compensation.” Said Jaydin. “It wasn't that much, I just don't like it when someone did it to my friend” Leo replied. Jaydin smiled at Leo's response as he saw Nyx staring blankly at the food. “By the way Nyx, it's been a long time. I'm sorry I couldn't accompany you on the way home that day. Something urgent came up that's why my parents rushed me to go home.” Nyx snapped out of it, and replied. “Ahh that, forget about that.” After exchanging their words, the three of them proceeded to eat the food Jaydin bought. Nyx couldn't face Jaydin and looked him in the eye knowing that he didn't help him, despite witnessing what Chris did. But Jaydin was unaware of the fact that Nyx was there, and even if he does. I'm sure Jaydin also wouldn't want Nyx helping him and dragging him into his mess. That is why Jaydin didn't mention it in his conversations with Leo. After the three of them were done and full. Jaydin then bought them some drinks again, and after that they all went outside to walk and to digest the food. While walking Leo and Nyx then thanked Jaydin about it. “Thank you for the treat, Jaydin.” “Don't mention it, if you want I will be the one who always buys you food as long as you will accompany me at the table.” Jaydin replied. “I know you're quite rich, but If we did that then we are basically a gangster only hangin out with you because of your money. We are friends right?” Leo answered while smiling. Jaydin was so happy upon hearing those words coming from someone other than his maid and nanny. Nyx and Leo were the first friends he ever had since childhood, as he was a subject of bullying even before middle school. “Yah, we are friends.” Jaydin replied while smiling happily. “You know, I'm glad that you were the first friend I made. I've been alone for too long, and now I know what it felt like to be a normal student and a human again.” Jaydin replied looking gloomy. Nyx, after hearing those words coming from what he considered his first friend, was also hurt. He realized that despite Jaydin's status, they are most likely the same. Nyx being poor financially while Jaydin's being poor, having no one. Nyx hated the fact that he just stood there without doing anything watching Jaydin going through all that, who regarded him as his friend. He gripped his fist, all while thinking about it. Leo noticed Nyx's fist and didn't say anything about it, but smiled. “So you also regarded us as your friend? I'm glad, so stop thanking me for helping you, cause that's what friends are for.” Leo replied to Jaydin. “Thank you so much both of you.” Jaydin answered, while on the verge of tearing up. Nyx couldn't still bring himself to face Jaydin as he was still feeling a sense of guilt. He now decided to exact revenge on him, after hearing all the words Jaydin has said. And so Nyx was making up an excuse to leave both Leo and Jaydin. He said that he had something urgent to do, and will go in first to handle it. Both Leo and Jaydin agreed, and so he went on his way. Leo was smiling upon seeing the back of Nyx walking to where he was going. “I wonder where he was going?” Jaydin said, being curious to what Nyx might be up to. “I don't know” Leo replied, while shrugging his shoulders. “By the way I know I've been saying it again and again, but thank you for that time. You know it was my first time having someone stand up for me.” Jaydin said. “It's ok really, forget about it.” Leo replied. “But, why was Chris terrified upon seeing you? That it even made him drop to the ground?” Jaydin asked as he found it suspicious. “Idunno maybe he mistook me for someone else.” Said Leo, trying to get out of it. “You're my friend right?” Jaydin said, and continued, “The only logical explanation I could think of is you are a member of the gang within this school.” Leo was surprised hearing the assumptions of Jaydin, but he still didn't admit it and feign ignorance. “Me a member of the gang in this school? What a funny thing to say” Leo replied, while laughing at the idea. But then Jaydin replied with a certain look on his face, “I just didn't guess it, but I'm sure you were. Not just a mere member in fact, but my deduction tells me that you are the rumored first executive within this school, right?” Leo was now sure that Jaydin knew about his links to the gang, but still went on to deny it wanting to know more about his reason. “How can you say so?” Leo asked. “You see, apart from the information I have on all the members of the gang within this school. You are the only person that I don't have any information about currently in this school.” He then continued, “At first I thought that you were just a transfer student, but after I went up to the table on where you and Nyx are and made some friends with both of you. I then looked at all the informations about you in my house.” “And that was it?” Asked Leo. “It wasn't, I found out that you are not a transfer student. But you have been a student here since first year, and you are supposedly in third grade now but you got yourself in trouble and didn't make it. That incident then landed you in juvenile prison, and you just came out right now.” As Jaydin took a deep breath then continued, “It was just a speculation, but after the incident just now. And Chris, having that terrified look on his face upon seeing you, I was one hundred percent sure that you are in fact the rumored number 1 in this school.” “What a good speculation, but that doesn't mean anything” Said Leo, still trying to deny it. “I know the second and fifth executive, and you were the only ones missing. So that itself was a given proof. And besides, apart from those four Chris is not afraid of anyone on this campus.” Jaydin replied. “Ok, ok you've won, I give up. I was in fact the first executive you were talking about. Doesn't it make you terrified after knowing it?” Leo answered, trying to intimidate Jaydin. Jaydin smiled and simply replied what Leo said to him, “We're friends aren't we? Besides, I know that you are not that kind of person. And even if you are, I'm still willing to be your friend even if you will just use me for my money.” Leo was struck by Jaydin's word and laugh at it. He then assured Jaydin that he will never do it to him, as he now considered him as one of her true friends. Leo then said to Jaydin that he is welcome to use his name anytime, if he is being bullied again on this campus. But still in Jaydin's mind he wouldn't do it, as he considered friendship as being sacred, and not only for the convenience of it. Where you weigh gains and losses or the benefits, but stand equal to each other. After talking for too long, the bell then rang and it's now time to go to their respective classrooms.
