The news about the ambush had reached the ears of the executives In Nyx school. Ethan was worried that those ambushes were orchestrated by Blade, the leader of the Riverdale school, to declare war against them. Ethan knew that apart from having no leader, they also couldn't afford to wage war on them as their schools were short on both resources and manpower.
And they couldn't just rely it all on Leo. Ethan was also aware of the fact that the difference in strength between them in the executives of Riverdale was just too much. As they have both the cunningness and strength to back up their boldness. So Ethan, with a worried expression, quickly notified all of the executives for another meeting, and also called all the members within the school to meet this afternoon.
Leo and Nyx were still in their classroom, listening to the teacher teaching in front. Leo was all aware about the ambush, but he didn't tell Nyx about it. And after the lecture was done, the bell rang. Both Leo and Nyx then went outside to go to the cafeteria to buy snacks and meet their friend Jaydin. After arriving there, they didn't see Jaydin at the table where he always sat and ate alone.
And so Nyx looked at Leo confused as to why Jaydin wasn't there. Leo also didn't seem to know where Jaydin was, so he just shrugged his shoulders. They both then think that maybe he was taking his leave, considering how heavy the rain was. With that in mind, they then both proceeded to sit and eat their snacks.
But unbeknownst to both of them, the Riverdale school leader Blade. Which was known by his other name, “The Fox.”, was planning something big, that could possibly even devour the king of the jungle.
Nyx and Leo after they were done eating, can't shake the feeling that something is amiss. While walking in the corridor, they both decided to visit Jaydin's classroom to see if he was indeed there. And also to check if he was still being bullied in his classroom, that made him unable to show his face in the cafeteria.
And after arriving at Jaydin's classroom, all the students laugh upon seeing the notorious loser Nyx in the classroom visiting them. They all laughed wholeheartedly, and the three students who are in charge of collecting money in Jaydin’s room, approached Nyx, as the three of them were checking and circling him.
“Isn't this the famous loser on this campus?” Said by one of the bullies.
“HAHA, you're right. What are these losers doing here? Asked by the other one.
Nyx was still calm despite the situation, and calmly asked if Jaydin went to school today.
“Oh, you mean that piggy bank. Idunno, you tell me!” Said by the bullies.
“That pig isn't here now, fuck it! That's why I can't buy snacks, ya know. My personal wallet isn't here.”
Said by the bullies while laughing at Nyx and Leo's faces.
Nyx gripped his hand in anger upon hearing the three of them say that to their friend. But before Nyx could react to his anger, Leo picked up one of the bullies in his shirt and pinned him to a wall. Leo then slapped the fuck out of him.
All the students were shocked upon witnessing Leo slapped the bully, and so they all stopped laughing. And the other two companions of the bully, in Leo's hand, quickly rushed to punch Leo while swearing.
But one of the two was then held by Nyx in his collar in the back, and then Nyx proceeded to pull him and using his knee, Nyx struck him in his stomach enough to send him flying to the other side, the bully then spit his saliva upon impact.
The other one successfully got near Leo, as he prepared himself to swing his fist. Leo then threw the person he held by his shirt unto him. It was just a casual throw from Leo, but the force behind it was enough to also send them flying, and the three then fell unconscious to the ground. 
The students gasped upon witnessing all of it, they couldn't believe that Leo was that strong. But the more shocking part for them was the fact that Nyx also took part in the beating. They all believed that Nyx was just a loser and a push-over, not even capable of protecting himself. But upon seeing all of what happened, all the students quickly changed their gazes, they bowed their heads to pretend to read something or were unaware. Not daring to look in both Leo and Nyx eyes.
And so Leo and Nyx then went on their way after knowing that Jaydin wasn't there. All the students in the corridor unknowingly moved out of their way, even the other bullies in charge besides Jaydin's classroom. 
After arriving at their room, Nyx and Leo saw one of the members running to each classroom looking like he had something important to announce. He then went to pass on each classroom while running and shouted in the corridor, “Attention to all the members and executives in this school. We will be having a meeting this afternoon!” he repeated it until he passed by Leo and went upstairs.
“Hey, wanna go over there to listen?” Leo asked Nyx.
“Why would I? I didn't agree to be the leader” Nyx replied.
“Just in case you would, why not take this chance to get to know your future allies.” Leo said, trying to urge Nyx.
While thinking about it Nyx then replied, “Don’t force me to it, I'm still thinking about what to do.”
As Nyx went inside the classroom followed by Leo. The class started as usual, until it's time for lunch again. Leo and Nyx quickly go outside together to eat at the cafeteria and to also check if Jaydin was finally there, because the heavy rain has now subsided.
But Jaydin still wasn't at his usual table, the two of them still didn't indulge about it. They both think that maybe he is just absent and has something important to do at their household. So they both sat, and ate their fill.
“I wonder what Chris has been up to now,” Said Leo. “Considering how you take measure, I doubt he will be showing his face again in the next few months, or maybe he never will.” While laughing thinking about it.
“Stop talking about him, it'll ruin the taste of the food,” Replied Nyx.
“Ok, ok. But you still wouldn't take part in the meeting this afternoon?” Asked Leo.
“I already told you I wouldn't, and I'm not your leader. I don't want anything to do with gangsterism, war, or whatnot.”
“But you know that you can't escape it, so why not just embrace it?” Said Leo.
“If they do come at me, then that'll be the day they will take their last breath.” Said Nyx, while looking pissed about it.
“Oh, that's a scary face you have there, do you have the resolve to kill someone?” Said Leo, joking about it.
After a minute of silence, Nyx answered “I have.”
