After the bell rang, Jaydin hurriedly ran to where Leo and Nyx were. And after arriving there he saw Nyx alone staring blankly at the window, with Leo being absent. And so he wanted to accompany Nyx to walk on his way home, to compensate for that day he couldn't. Nyx as expected agreed to his friend's request. And so they both exited the campus together.
Before arriving at the front gate, Jaydin noticed the car that was waiting outside to fetch him. But Jaydin was hiding and sneaking amidst the flood of students gushing out in the front gate. And so he safely got out in their sight, and was now able to accompany Nyx.
On their way home, Nyx was still lost in his thoughts. But Jaydin quickly notices Nyx's expression, and is certain that something was weighing Nyx's mind.
“What seems to be the problem, Nyx?” Jaydin asked Nyx, trying at least to lessen his burden by sharing it.
“Oh, what? Ah, nothing.” Nyx replied, caught by the sudden question.
“What kind of response was that, we are friends aren't we? You can share what is bugging you to me. Maybe I can be of help, if it was money please do tell me about it.” Jaydin replied.
“It wasn't about money, even if it is I won't possibly ask my friend for it.” Nyx answered.
“If so, then what was it?” Jaydin asked, curious about it.
“I was just contemplating some things, it is of no importance, so you shouldn't mind it. Said Nyx, while trying to not drag Jaydin into this mess.
“I'm sure it is, judging by the face you are making. Not to brag about it, but I may be weak in terms of fighting, but I do have my pride in being intelligent.” Said Jaydin, looking all proud about it.
“Yah, I'm jealous of you, my mom would be happy if I even have just one tenth of your intellect.” Said Nyx.
After hearing Nyx say those, Jaydin then felt bad about saying it and even looked proud of it.
“I'm sorry, I wasn't being sensible about it.” Jaydin replied, trying to apologize to Nyx.
“What? No it's ok, I mean it. My mom wanted me to study, but I'm still not good at it. I'm afraid that she will be so disappointed in me.” Nyx replied, while looking sad and was trying to assure Jaydin.
Jaydin then looked at Nyx and said, “It was me that was so jealous of both of you.”
“What is there that we possibly have that you don't, for you to say that?” Nyx replied, thinking that Jaydin wasn't lacking anything considering his status.
“Well there are so many to count. Aside from having no friends, I also don't have the strength to stand up for myself or for someone that I saw being bullied. I'm fed up with it, I want to take matters into my own hands, but I can't.” Jaydin replied to Nyx.
“So you mean that if you have the strength you would use it to protect someone?” Asked Nyx, curious about what Jaydin would say.
“Isn't it obvious? Aside from being able to protect myself and my loved ones. I also wanted to protect the others from being bullied, cause I know how it felt like being the receiving end of it. I ain't trying to be a superhero in a story, but there's a famous quote in one of the movies I used to watch as a kid. “with great power, comes great responsibility”. And from that, I vowed to do it and stand up for others.” Said Jaydin, while gripping his chubby hands. 
“I know I was far from being that, and I also don't have the power and strength to back it up. That's why I'm jealous of you and Leo.”
“At Least you have your resolve, unlike me who is still uncertain about it. But how can you say that I'm good at fighting?” Nyx asked, shocked about him knowing it.
“If you're ok with me sharing it, promise me you won't get mad ok?” Nyx nodded in Jaydin's question. “I used my family's influence and power to gather information about you and Leo. And I found out that you were a good fighter since middle school, but an incident happened that made you vowed to not fight again, aren't you?” Jaydin answered.”
“Oh so you knew about it.” Nyx replied, disappointedly.
“But don't get me wrong, I only looked through it after I made friends with both of you. I swear that it wasn't my intention to harm nor made friends with you from those facts.” Jaydin answered hurriedly.
Nyx was relieved that Jaydin was being open and honest about it, and so he knew that it wasn't intentional but merely for the purpose of knowing them truly. And even if he did his research beforehand, I'm afraid that considering his nature he wouldn't dare to approach Nyx and Leo that day in the cafeteria.
“It's ok, but since you were aware of the fact about us. I'll ask you again, do you really mean what you said, that if you have a power you won't think about it twice protecting even those you didn't know?” Nyx asked Jaydin, also trying to find an answer on his own thoughts.
Jaydin was sure that he would do it, and Nyx was left dumbfounded by his reasoning. But then again Nyx thought that it had some truth to it, but that still didn't make Nyx fully decide on what he would do from now on. And after a couple of minutes of them exchanging their words, Nyx and Jaydin found themselves in front of Nyx house. Jaydin, seeing the quality of living Nyx has and some junk in his front yard offered him some help, and money. 
But Nyx refuses any of it, and says that they made friends with him as a person, not with a person with money. And that made Jaydin compromise and proposed a deal that Nyx might agree upon in exchange for money. He said that Nyx will occasionally train him and will teach him to fight from some time, but Nyx still didn't agree nor refuse but will still think about it. And so Jaydin reluctantly respects Nyx's persistent request, and goes to bid his goodbye to Nyx as he walks and calls his driver about where his location is.
