I JUST MADE THIS CHAPTER TODAY AND I'M PLANNING TO PICK UP THIS STORY AGAIN. HERE'S THE RAW VERSION. FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ANY PLOT RELATED STUFF SINCE I DON'T HAVE A CLEAR PATH FOR THE STORY YET, SINCE I'VE BEEN BUSY.
As Nyx went to where Xander directed him. The war is still raging on the campus; the executives of Riverdale fled upon the intimidation of Nyx before leaving. No one uttered a single word as they witnessed the beatings Xander took, no one even dared to lift a finger but just stand there in place completely frozen. As they all ran with tails tucked in between their legs. Upon seeing the executives run with all their might, members of Riverdale hurriedly followed suit, chased by the new found morale of Nyx school members. Nyx had a visible worries shown all over his face, as he murmured. "I hope I'm not too late." As he ran in full sprint towards Xander's direction. For Nyx, Leo was the first friend he ever made aside from Jaydin and the one who understand him the most. While Ethan and Drake, the only conscious executives on their side, seeing Nyx hurriedly left also couldn't contained their curiosity and follow suit worried about their leader and was obsessed of observing and knowing how much of a monster this person "Nyx" truly is.
Nyx, amidst the pouring rain ran with all his might towards the warehouse forgetting the fact of what his original intention of going to school was. All in his mind is how he can get there faster to help his friend. Meanwhile, Nyx mom was in the house preparing a warm soup for his son, who was out drenching in rain fetching the umbrella and slippers at school, unaware of the fact that his son won't be coming home tonight.
All while Leo was still struggling to even evade the relentless attack of Riverdale members. "The offer still stands Leo, take my hand and let's stop this useless resistance." Said Blade trying to convince Leo into joining him once again, "I know you're aware that you wont get out of this alive, I myself is reluctant to part ways with a genius of fighting such as yourself." Blade added while laughing maniacally, seemingly enjoying all the blood splattered on the wall and teeth everywhere seeing it as a form of art. "The way you fight is like a work of art for me, now join me Leo and let's unify the school and street's together!!" As Blade voice echoed throughout the whole warehouse. Leo in the middle of the rumble even manage to replied to Blade's remark he can't help but laugh on his ambitions. "You? uniting this city? Leo asked clearly insulting Blade's capabilities. "You haven't even step outside playing leader in that school of yours, and you think that this entire city is your playground. You don't know how scary the people outside is, what a pipe dream. I admired your stupidity and you claimed to be cunning?" Leo said adding salt to the wound. Blade was furious upon hearing those insults that he can no longer contain it and ordered Rexx his right hand man to go and finish the fight. seeing how Leo was clearly on his last breath, "Don't kill him yet he still has some use." Blade ordered.
Nyx was now almost at the warehouse, he was halfway there. Visible worries are shown all over his face clearly feeling something is wrong and amiss. Following right behind him are the executives Ethan and Drake. A couple of minutes had passed and Nyx finally saw the warehouse Xander was talking about, as he rush in full speed leaving the two behind worried of the safety of his friend. Nyx were approaching, but then back at the warehouse Rexx the vice leader of Blade jumped from where Chris and Blade standing to join in the fight and ultimately put an end to it. All the members that was left halt their attack and gave way to their vice leader. "Our leader is kind enough to let you join us, but you refuse him." Said Rexx, "Either way, I'm grateful that you did so, I have this feeling that we would prolly never get along well." Rexx added, while smiling maniacally almost as if he was a stray dog hungry for bones, as he slowly approached Leo who is clearly on his last breath. The room is full of people yet it is filled with silence, all can be heard is a footstep Rexx made as he slowly approached Leo.
Rexx and Blade meet at their early years back when they were six, way back before they even began terrorizing school's and took over Riverdale. Blade grew up in a wealthy household almost having everything handed to him, while Rexx at young age was forced to survive in a chaotic neighborhood. Rexx when gazed one would mistake him for a shy and a meek person that's why he's often the subject of bullying of kid's on his age and sometimes even twice his age, while Blade is child who like to play the leader and trample to those below him and would take the initiative while planning things thoroughly. They are exactly opposite to each other and the sole reason as to why Rexx followed Blade undoubtedly because he gave him food, money, and shelter as long as he would listen to him obediently. "Why did you send Rexx and not yourself?" Chris asked Blade curiously. Blade showed a smirk on his face and said. "Because I want to witness a masterpiece made by those two." Chris couldn't understand what Blade just said but he kinda looking forward to Rexx fighting style. "Leo might be born on the most dangerous street, but from where Rexx was born, is no less than that. Just shut up and watch as we enjoy to admire the masterpiece they would make, with me. A fight between a wounded lion and a hungry hyena trying to survive." As Blade let out a laugh so loud with an eyes full of excitement almost as if he finds pleasure on it.
In fact, Blade was the leader not because of his fighting capabilities but on his cunning and carefulness when handling things, though he is indeed strong but if we are talking about fighting capabilities and raw strength the strong fighter of Riverdale belonged to Rexx, significantly. Blade and Rexx first encounter began when his dad, a politician. Went to Rexx neighborhood to help them, giving out supplies and food, as blade wonders in the neighborhood he happened to saw 5 kids who are clearly 3 years older than the kid ganging up on a six year old stealing his food, which happened to be Rexx. He witnessed a stray dog trying to fight a pack of wolves for a bone, a complete annihilation of the dog doing everything it could to bite the wolves. Blade let out a sinister smile as he watched, almost as if he enjoys the blood that was splattered everywhere on the wall with teethes on it. For him it was like the painting he have in their house, It was like a famous painting from a well known painter waiving his brush all over the canvas but in this case was a fist, and blood is the paint, while the canvas is the earth itself. As Blade stretch out his hand and offered Rexx a food and a bunch of money saying that he will definitely have him on his possession. "Just follow me and I will provide everything you want to survive." Rexx first time seeing money with a bunch of foods simply nodded and that's when Rexx became a dog on a leash not daring to even lay or bear its fang to the owner.
