The bell rang and so Leo and Jaydin went to their respective classrooms after bidding goodbyes. Leo after arriving at the room, he noticed that Nyx was not here yet, and so was Drake and Chris. Nyx was still outside looking for Chris angrily to exact his revenge on him, regarding what he did to his friend Jaydin. But Chris at this moment was in the meeting of the gang within the campus.
Ethan called all the executives beforehand including Leo, but he didn't care. And so Drake and Chris and the other two executives were the only ones there. Ethan then proceeded to start the meeting after all of them arrived, they didn't wait for Leo as they thought that he wouldn't come.
“I will again act as the head of this meeting, while Leo is not here.” Said Ethan, trying to assert dominance to other members.
No one raises an opinion about him being the acting leader, as they all are aware that they couldn't stand up to him.
“I'm surprised that the other school didn't attack us till now. But I'm afraid that their leader Blade was up to something again, knowing him he probably does. And so I wanted to take up Chris' offer last meeting” Said Ethan, while looking at Chris.
Chris was afraid that he couldn't back his offer at the last meeting, because he just visited his uncle in the hospital. And was on the verge of being removed from the gang.
“I-im afraid that what I offer that day will not be happening.” Said Chris, while being afraid.
Ethan was pissed about it and shouted, “What?! What do you mean by it!”
“Please allow me to explain, sir. Some bastards beat my uncle and his companion's yesterday, and so he was now lying in the hospital bed, half dead. They say it was the work of the other major gang in the West, but that is besides the point. He was now on the verge of being removed from the gang, so he couldn't help us.” Chris replied, trying to get out of it.
“So your point is, you are basically useless right?!” Said Ethan, angrily.
“I'm sorry for causing trouble sir.” Said Chris, while bowing his head to Ethan.
But in Chris' mind he was swearing at Ethan and was so pissed about anything, but was also afraid to say it to him. As Chris was known for being flexible, basically strong to the weak and weak to the strong. Your typical bully and suck up gangster. He will follow those only what benefits him and will gladly betray what he wouldn't get. He is a sucker that has no loyalty to speak of whatsoever.
Ethan understood Chris' situation and so he sighed and gave in, “You are fcking useless.” Chris then went on to sit, as Ethan continued,
“The Riverdale still didn't attack us, but we still have the issue of manpower and resources, which this bastard” while pointing at Chris, “didn't manage to get. I'm afraid that Blade had something in mind considering his cunning nature, which might be the reason why he still didn't make a move on us.” Ethan said.
“Maybe they are still preparing for it,” Jarred replied to Ethan's remark.
“You are really fuckin dumb, ya know that!” Said Vin to Jarred, “What are they preparing for when they have the manpower and resources to attack us anytime. I guess they are just afraid of our unknown executive, which happened to be that man Leo.” He then laughed at Jarred's response, and continued. “At this time, maybe they are still gathering information about our first executive.”
“What are you even saying you punk…” Before Jarred finished his sentence Ethan interrupted him
“Enough! What Vin said is plausible.” Said Ethan, while Vin let out a smirk at Jarred, which made Jarred even more pissed about it.
“What about you Drake? What is your opinion on this matter?” Said Ethan, while looking at Drake who hasn't spoken a word since the beginning of the meeting.
“Me? I think they will attack us this week.” Said Drake.
“What made you say so?” Ethan asked.
“Would you believe me if I told you it's my gut?” Said Drake.
Ethan was clearly pissed about what Drake said to him, and said. “I hate those guts!”
The atmosphere in the room was intense, as both Ethan and Drake were staring at each other's eyes. But Ethan figured that it wasn't the time to fight with each other, and so he stepped down from it, while letting out a sigh.
“This meeting will not get us anywhere, considering all of the dumbfucks members. So we will resume this again on the weekends.” Said Ethan, insulting all of them.
They all didn't refute what he said as they saw that Ethan was clearly angry at the situation. Afraid that a fight might break out in the room. And so Chris hurriedly left, afraid to be dragged into the mess, followed by Jarred, Drake, then Vin. Ethan then decided to go out and meet Leo in his room to discuss the matter regarding Riverdale school and ask for his opinion.
All of it happened while Nyx was still roaming the campus trying to find Chris, but to no avail he didn't. And so he decided to wait at the front gate. After a couple of hours, Nyx finally saw Chris in the campus walking on his way towards the gate. All while swearing non stop as he was pretty pissed about all that happened. He was complaining about his luck today, how it sucks, to Ethan, and other executives.
Chris then looked in front of him and saw Nyx outside the gate looking at him intently, like a prey. And that made Chris even more furious about it, but then he smiled thinking that he had someone to take out all of his anger now. And how he was being all thankful that he could finally relieve his stress. And so he went up to Nyx.
“Hello my friend, what a perfect timing.” Said Chris, while laughing. “See my friend I was clearly pissed off about something. And I'm glad you are such a dependable person that will accompany me through this, I'm thankful for it.” While being sarcastic, saying it in front of Nyx's face.
“That bastard Ethan and the other executives were so overbearing, that I hate them through my bones.” Said Chris, while putting his hand on Nyx's shoulder, “What should I do, friend? Tell me. Maybe I'll just betray and sell them out right to the other school? Right? Right? Right, I could do that.” While thinking about it deeply.
“You know what, I know what I will do, but before that. I should let out this anger within me, I hope you will adhere to my request. HAHA but even if you didn't, you still will, right Nyx? You think that I will be fuckin afraid to touch you, because of Leo? Ha you punk?! Guess what, Leo isn't here so I'll just beat you close to death.” Said Chris.
Nyx was still silent upon hearing Chris complaining about everything. In his mind, he thought of how he would massacre this man. But still Chris isn't done complaining yet, he just went on to say all of what he was feeling, and after saying all of it he then said.
“Thank you for listening to my complaints, my friend. By the way I'm off now, so bye.” While patting his shoulder. Chris then turned his back.
As soon as he turned his back to Nyx, he then swung his fist with all of his might towards him, hoping to catch Nyx off guard. But before he could land his fist on his face, Nyx catched it easily.
Chris couldn't believe what he just witnessed, but what he was more surprised about is the fact that Nyx's grip strength was so strong. That he even shouted, but before it could be heard from the classrooms, Nyx let out a punch straight into his mouth, to shut him up.
