Morning came as Nyx woke from the noise outside. He sat in his bed and gathered his thoughts about what his mother just said yesterday, then proceeded to get ready for school. Nyx then came downstairs to see if his mother was there, but then again there is only food on the table. He ate hurriedly, and proceeded to go outside his house, on his way to school.
On the road Nyx was still contemplating, as he found himself at the crossroad where Leo was always waiting for him. Leo isn't here now, and so he went alone on his way as usual. After Nyx arrived at the school front gate, he saw so many students gathering at one place. He immediately goes there to check what was going on. There, he found Chris beating up someone again, and that someone was Nyx friend Jaydin.
What happened before Nyx witnessed the current scenario of Jaydin being beaten by Chris was… Jaydin was on his way to the school and his driver drove him there as usual. After arriving there, He came out in the car and was lost in thought about something that Jaydin's parents told him. And there's a pretty pissed Chris knowing what happened to his Uncle walking also on his way to the campus. He is pissed about the fact that his uncle was on the verge of being removed in the gang, and is now currently at the hospital by being beaten close to death. He is swearing everywhere that all students didn't even dare to block his way.
But Jaydin, lost in his own thoughts, was unaware that Chris was behind him. He didn't move in the side, and that made Chris, who was so pissed, more angry about the fact that someone in this campus was daring enough to block his path.
“Hey you fuckin’ fat pig!” Chris shouted angrily.
Jaydin was caught and surprised by a sudden voice behind him, and so he turned his head to look. And after he did so, a punch greeted him in the face, before he could even react. Jaydin then dropped to the ground with his nose bleeding all over his face. And so that leads to the scenario of Jaydin being beaten by Chris and now being currently witnessed by Nyx… 
Chris then proceeded to raise and gripped his fist, to once again punch Jaydin who was now lying on the ground. But before he swung it to him, someone caught his arm from behind. Chris sweared, and looked upon who might be the student brave enough to do it to him. But his eyes widened in disbelief and his body was now shaking from being so afraid, it was the first executive, Leo. Chris' knees were shaking uncontrollably from seeing Leo, to the point that it gave in and he dropped himself to the ground.
Chris was so afraid of the thought that Leo might punch him that he unknowingly guarded his face. But then contrary to his belief, Leo just stared down at him. Leo then let go of his hand and walked himself inside the campus. Jaydin saw what happened and immediately stood up to follow Leo and thank him for what he did, while Chris was still lying on the ground dumbfounded. Jaydin didn't notice Nyx on the sideline because of the crowd of students, and so he ran up to Leo.
“Hey Leo, wait for me.” Jaydin shouted, while grasping for breath from being beaten and running.
Jaydin has poor stamina and power as he was basically a pig and has an unhealthy lifestyle. That quality of his was why the gangs in this school picked on him.
Leo then turned his back, and replied. “Hey, you should avoid that person.”
“I didn't know that he was coming from behind, but that isn't the point. I want to thank you for your help.” Said Jaydin, while being so respectful and grateful to Leo's help.
But then Leo didn't reply and just simply raised his hand in acknowledging Jaydin's gratefulness, while turning his back to proceed going in his classroom. And so Jaydin didn't persistently approach Leo to possibly annoy him, and went on his way to his room.
Nyx was still outside standing and was still deep in his thoughts. It seems like he found some answers about what he was thinking since yesterday, about his mother's word and his fist. Nyx doesn't want to oppose his mother, but he also doesn't want someone to hurt what is close to him. And witnessing his friend Jaydin, being beaten up just now. Nyx felt helpless as he couldn't do anything but watched his friend being beaten. The conflicting feelings he has about his actions made his mind so chaotic.
He garnered hatred towards Chris but was still in doubt of whether to break his promise and help his friend or to just let it be. Nyx then went on to proceed inside the campus and go to his classroom. At the classroom he noticed that Drake and Chris weren't there, so the students were so noisy gossiping, laughing, and talking about their day, as one normal classroom should be.
Nyx then went on to proceed to sit at his table, then Leo went up to him to say something.
“Hey, the incident about the three you beat up yesterday was now known by their leader.” Said Leo.
“How do you know?” Nyx replied while look all worried.
Nyx was not afraid if the gang or the leader knew that it was him. But he was more afraid that it might add trouble to his mother, and possibly dragged her into the mess and being harmed by it.
“I happened to hear it in the street. But relax, they didn't know who did it yet. Besides, your face was not caught in the camera because of the mask I gave you.” Leo replied, assuring Nyx.
“Is that so, but even if they did I'm not afraid. It's just that, I was thinking about my mother.”. Nyx answered.
“That's that, I was just reminding you. Anyways, do you know what happened to Jaydin?” Asked Leo.
“I just witnessed it awhile ago, and that is what is troubling my mind now.” Nyx replied, while thinking so deeply.
“You're helpless again aren't you. you wanted to help your friend but couldn't, right? All because of your promise to not fight, but you know yourself that it is not a long term solution. So think about what you want to do from now on, and choose between the two.” Said Leo while turning his back and going to his seat.
Nyx's mind was now so full of contradiction, he didn't know what to do anymore. What Nyx wants now is a determination and a sure fire purpose to use his fist again. Both happened yesterday about his mother and today about his first friend Jaydin. And so Nyx decided to use it again, for a purpose of protecting someone dear to him. He looked at his fist while thinking about what to do with Chris. But Chris and Drake didn't show up for a whole day in class. And so the class ended, and now is the time for lunch.
Leo invited Nyx for lunch together again at the cafeteria, Nyx agreed and they both walked there. The students that remained in the classroom are gossiping about the war between the schools.
Student 1: “Hey, we meet again my friend.”
Student 2: “I ain't your friend, ya know.”
Student 1: “Oh don't be like that my friend, you are my only source of information about the war in the school.”
Student 2: “What made you change to be now interested in those things, aren't you a bookworm?”
“I just think that it is exciting and interesting. Besides, even if it does happen we will not be the one getting punched, so enough of it and tell me what is their status now?” 
“So the one who will attack this campus was figured to be Riverdale school. But there has been a rumor flying around that the attack halted.”
“Rumors again, but halted? Why?” Asked by student 1, curiously.
“I think the rumors were fabricated and exaggerated. It said that one person went to the Riverdale school and massacred their members.” Said by student 2.
“What?! One person?!” Student 1, answered in disbelief.
“That's the exact face and reaction I made after hearing it. Anyways rumors are bound to be overly exaggerated you know, so maybe it isn't the case. And maybe the reason they still have not attacked us was because of the unknown person who is the first executive. That's it, but personally I think that they will attack as sooner, as I made it to be. By the way I'm off now, I will be absent this afternoon. I will continue to play Mythical Legends again on my computer, so good-bye.” Student 2 replied while packing his bag to go outside.
