Going Blind

Chapter Forty nine
Going Blind
She sang the song several times on repeat before drifting off to sleep. I got up and took her in my arms and laid her properly in bed. I watched her sleep as she breathed slowly and silently,
‘how good is it to finally sleep leaving all the troubles for it self, forgetting they ever exist’ I thought.
I took my phone stopped the music and made a call,
“Find Sheila’s hometown, and I need more camera’s in her house but before that check if there’s any camera’s in the security room. More importantly, get one facing the woman’s door. Can you manage to get one in her private car and yeah her room?” I asked.
“I will see what I can do but sir there’s a problem there’s a picture of you and miss on the internet together but this time, Her face is seen with yours. Should I remove it? The words spoken about her are not encouraging. ” said the technician.
“Yes do and find who did that, make sure I don’t wake up to see anything about that. ” I said angrily.
“Okay Sir. ” he replied.
I looked at her once again before existing the room silently.
‘Game on who ever is behind our sleepless nights. ’ I thought
Third Person POV
She got up the next day with a smile on her face, she pretended nothing ever happened as she pushed them to the back of her mind. She got into the shower, freshened up, took some clothes from the wardrobe to dress up for school but then when she was looking through the wardrobe in the dim light, she couldn’t see anything in the wardrobe.
She walked a few steps from the wardrobe, and she couldn’t see anything in the wardrobe. Confusion stepped into her mind, because she could see that even though her room was a little shady in her eyes, why couldn’t she see in the wardrobe?
Then she walked out of the room to the balcony and stood there watching the sun.
“Is it too early in the morning? Why is the sun so dim?” she asked herself.
She got inside and searched for her phone. She looked at the time and it was already 10am in the morning.
Her heart started aching, as her mind started going through all the possibilities.
“Am I going blind? What the hell is happening to me?” she whispered to herself.
She ran to the door in her bath towel forgetting she had no dress on but her bra and panty and ran to King’s door. She hit on it heavily but he wasn’t opening up so she leaned on the door breathing heavily as tears descended her eyes.
Suddenly the door was pulled and she laid in strong arms, her towel loosed.
King stared at her face in confusion but then looked down to see her half naked body. He immediately recovered and hugged her tightly, when she felt her stomach touching his, she panicked slightly but he didn’t let her go but took her head in his hands as his lips went for hers.
He kissed her slowly but domineering as his hand stroked her head, seconds later, she gave in and hugged him back as they kissed. He felt sensations running through his body and as there went to his crouch, he pulled back breathing heavily but kept her head on his chest. She breathed heavily and listened to his heart beats, she felt the hardened part on her lower part.
She stepped back a little but not from his hold, and looked in his eyes as she whispered,
“I’m sorry. ”
He shook his head silently and said,
“Even though you caused it, it isn’t your fault. ” he said scoffing.
“Are you not saying the same thing?” she asked.
He smiled at her and picked the towel to cover her but then he spotted a birthmark on her stomach.
He touched it and she stepped back looking at him with doubt.
“No don’t think nonsense, does everyone in your family have this? Is it a birthmark?” he asked as he covered her up.
She shook her head and looked at him, she wanted to remember then she realized her eyes getting dimmer.
She held his hands as she shook in fear then she said,
“King, something is wrong, my eyes, … they keep getting dimmer every time I try to remember something from the past. ”
“What? That couldn’t be true, why would that happen to you?” asked King worriedly.
“I don’t know, King please tell me it’s going to be okay. ” She said in tears.
“Yes it’s going to be okay, you will be alright. I will do all I can to help you okay?” said King.
She left his arms as she knelt on the ground dejectedly, he knelt down with her as he looked at her worriedly, she murmured to herself,
“I’m going blind King, I couldn’t see through the wardrobe, the sun is dim in my eyes. And that happens each time I try to remember my past that is six years ago. King what happened and why can’t I remember? And why am I going blind because I’m trying to remember?”
King watched her silently then he held her hands and said,
“You won’t go blind just try to forget about it and don’t try to remember anything. I will take you to special eye doctor today, he will examine you properly and I believe you will be okay. Please be brave for yourself and your father.
I think there’s a huge conspiracy somewhere and we will find out it is.”
