The trip to the stranger’s room was filled with silence. Byul had never thought that he would be in this situation at all. After the awkward encounter, he was immediately invited to the person’s house. Just what on Earth is going on? Byul have no idea but it looks like the handsome man is not hostile towards him anymore.
Byul was preoccupied with his thoughts, he didn’t even realize that he was taken inside the room and was led towards the bed. The man hid his smile, he still has the towel wrapped on his waist. For outsiders to look, Byul must’ve been brought here so that he could watch him as he changed but for this person it was not the case.
Since they’re already in the bedroom anyways. Byul sat on the bed absentmindedly, looking at the man with a foolish expression in his face.
“You’re quite defenseless for a guy.”
The man gave him a single glance and eventually rummage through his closet to look for some clothes. Byul just shrugged and turned his head away from him. He occasionally tap his fingers on the sheets and said: “I don’t really mind if you want to do it.”
In his mind, Byul was filled with dirty thoughts. He did wonder, how is he so pretty? He must be a bottom. Hm, I won’t mind doing him. His fantasy was very wild and just thinking about the xxx they could do. He felt hard.
The man paused a bit after hearing his answer. After a while he said in a serious tone. “I’m talking about the Apocalypse.”
Having realized what he just said, Byul instantly blush in shame. What in the world are you even thinking? You piece of crap. And thus Byul reprimanded himself.
Byul, in his thoughts, quarreled himself as he absentmindedly let out an O. After the realization struck him, Byul immediately apologized. “I wasn’t thinking.”
The man just glance at him and finally button up his shirt. He then turned his head and walked towards the bed as he look at Byul with slight curiosity.
“How is it outside?” He asked.
Byul just stared at him in surprise. Oh! It seems like this man has yet to experience a zombie’s kiss let alone be aware of the f*cked up situation he’s in. Oh, you sinful sh*t! Can a person be so innocent as this? Byul was amused and horrified by his own discovery. He felt that as if this child had never gone out to the outside world. Not even once.
“Rather than that. How are you fine when it’s completely hell out there? People started biting each other and everything was a bloody mess. I’m quite curious how you’re still alive all this while.” Byul coolly replied.
Having said that, the man eventually noticed the blood stains on his clothes and promptly clenched his fingers and said. “You’re dirtying the sheets.”
Byul with a huge shock in his face was very amused. What the f*ckity f*ck? All those words said and that’s what he cared about? Him dirtying his goddamn sheets?! It was his first time to be so mad about something so trivial. Byul, who got his pride wounded, stood up and pat the beddings in an irritating manner. He then up his hand and surrendered.
“Fine, off the sheets.”
He then coldly look at the man and scoffed. “I bet you never step outside in your whole life.”
The man just looked at him in silence. Not minding a word he said and probably because he couldn’t refute that but either way, Byul didn’t care. He walked in the room and look at the huge window of the house. The outside world was peaceful and the street was empty. There’s no hug-loving zombies and no people around. If he had to describe it. It’s rather strange and impossible since it was the apocalypse.
Byul never thought that at some point, he’ll have a small time to think. Since the apocalypse started, he was slightly out of it as the main task of this world has been bothering his mind a lot but having such a peaceful environment, somehow he felt relaxed and at the same time uneasy. It was a very unpleasant feeling.
“Do you have an ability?”
It has been bothering him a lot to the point that he come to this conclusion. Of it’s not an ability then this is something that he couldn’t explain nor comprehend with his current thoughts. It’s just way too impossible not to have one given by the sudden outbreak.
“Do you?”
Byul turned his head and glance at the guy sitting on the bed meaningfully. It’s not surprising to be cautious around other people when you have a secret you don’t want to find out. This must be a world where ability users were only a few and they must be hidden in the depths of the world, not letting anyone know about their identity.
He must be testing him. Letting him take his choice whether he wants to join them or not. Such a tempting offer but Byul was not in the least bit interested. He rather do his thing alone, after all he’ll leave at some point anyways.
With that, he made up his mind as he gave him a simple answer. “No.”
After Byul left the building, everyone contemplated to stay. Resting for a while might be good enough so everyone started planning about the latter part. The new group only had few rations and Byul’s former group had a lot. With the issue of food and water, it’s not surprising when someone give you the side eye.
Winston know this so he turned to his team. Byul left and it’s not like he couldn’t lead one but the thing is, they have no idea where to go. As the issue was at hand, Stanley stood up and walked away from the group. He really have no reason to stay but he had no clue about this world so he turned to the new group and asked them about the outbreak but he only understand a few.
It was June 27, which is a month ago when the outbreak started. They say the weather was too hot that day and many patients at different place fell ill after taking some sort of drug and was sent to a rehabilitation facility. After that day, a patient at the facility was infected with a stabilizer and gone crazy after receiving the treatment. He began clawing at the sheets and the room was overturned and on that day, the patient went missing. After a few days, they found the crazy patient biting off people in the street and there the outbreak started. No one knows what kind of drug the patient took but they said it was an illegal medicine that only few people know about.
With that information on hand. Stanley don’t know what step to take but judging by the fact that only few people know about the drug. He didn’t lose hope. As long as he investigate about the matter, he’ll find them soon enough.
