Zayn POV
“I never imagined Ryder could stoop so low to kidnap Flora,” Reid rasped as he approached me. I just pressed the laptop non-stop, not sparing him a glance.
“So, what are your plans?” He asked after he'd taken his seat across the table.
I sighed heavily before looking up at him.
“There's a chip I fixed into her hair before she left that day, she knows nothing about it though,” I explained.
“That was a great idea,” Reid commended.
I breathe out and shake my head.
“But what is freaking me out now is that I still can't get through her, no matter how hard I try, I mean I've been trying to locate where she is, but I guess luck is not on my side” I heaved an exasperated sigh and stood up from the swivel chair.
I ruffled my hair as I walk towards the window. “You've to keep trying Zayn, you aren't giving up, are you?” Reid says behind me. I turned to face him, my eyes reddened.
“I will skin Ryder alive, I promise,” I say through clenched teeth.
Reid nodded to his seat.
“He deserves it,” He says as he stood up from his chair. “He's an animal”
I turned towards the window again.
“I promise to get you back very soon, Flora… I promise” 
 Ryder POV;
The following day…
“So you really can't remember anything aside your name?” I asked Flora, with so much tenderness. We're both sitting on her bed.
She's refuse to step out since yesterday, the fact that she can't remember anything about herself saddens her so much, which I understood.
“Yes… I can only remember my name,” She says in a croaked voice.
Gosh!
She's about to cry again.
“I'm trying to remember every other thing, but it's all blank” She glances at me, and took her eyes back to her fiddled fingers. “I've lost it, I've lost my memory… Please help me,” she burst into tears. “Oh no… Stop crying Flora,” I hushed as I crawled towards her on the bed.
I made her head rest on my shoulder, stroking her back gently.
I know I'm supposed to take her to a hospital right away, but I can't. I'm afraid that Zayn is probably searching for me. Although, I'm sure no one can find me here but still, I have to be meticulous out there.
“Stop crying Flora, I'm here for you,” I assured. “Don't worry, I'm going to invite a doctor to run a check on you. Is that fine with you?” I asked her with a beam.
She lifted her head to look at me.
“I'll be so grateful” She says, a little smile lingered at the corner of her lips.
I shook my head and chuckled lightly.
“It's my duty, Flora” I told her and her face turned to a crumpled one. “I don't understand” I smile, while nodding my head.
“You'll understand everything very soon, how long we've known each other and the reason I brought you here… I'll make sure I explain every bit of it,” I told her, and she grow a wide smile.
My phone beeps in my pocket, I brought it out and look at the screen.
Oh,
It's a text message from Violet.
“I'll be right back” I told her, and she nodded.
I hop out of her bed and walked out of the room, dialing Violet's number.
She picks the call at second rings.
“What's the news, Ryder?” She asked impatiently. I smile as I walked down the hallway.
She's one funny lady, not even a Hi.
“Chill baby” I cooed, and could feel her roll her eyes. “Is she with you now? She's mad at you, right? Where are you exactly?” She rushed her questions.
I shake my head and breathe out.
“Actually, the situation is different Vio” I said sadly, descending the stairs.
I do not want Flora to hear any of my conversations. “And what is that supposed to mean? Don't tell me you couldn't get her,” She says in her blunt tone.
“Of course she's with me, but she can't remember anything again,” I told her. “How?”
“I think she had… She had lost her memory,” I choked out.
Violet gasped. “What?” She shrieks.
I rake a hand through my hair and sighed heavily. “But how? The guys gave her some sort of drugs or something?” She asked, confused. “I don't know Violet, I don't know what to think anymore. I am as confused as you're now” 
“But I'm thinking of inviting a doc over, I'm afraid that Zayn might catch me if I try to step out... at least for the time being” I explained.
“You've spoken to Zayn ?” Violet asked.
“We're gonna talk about it when we see. Gotta go” 
“Hold on Ryder” her voice stopped me from hanging the call.
“What's it, violet?” I grunt inwardly.
“I suggest you should forget the idea of inviting a doctor or some kind of sh*t,” she says. I leaned against the table in the garden as I listen to her. “What's the plan?”
“She should remain like that, with a memory loss. It's for your own good, isn't it?” 
“Everything is going to be in the past, and you shall enjoy the future with her,” She pressed on.
Whoa,
A smile run across my lips as I sit on a chair.
Brilliant idea.
“Whoa… You are so intelligent babe,” I blew her a kiss through the phone, and she laughs.
“Don't mess things up Ryder; and don't worry, I'll take care of Zayn and as time goes on, he would forget absolutely everything about Flora” She assures.
I nodded in agreement, like she could see me.
“Make sure of that,” I told her.
"I will," she replied. “Talk to you later, Violet. Need to catch up with my babe,” I winked and hung up on her.
Luck is really on my side, isn't it? I smile to myself as I walked back into the house.
