Flora POV
Ryder laughs quietly while sitting up on the bed. “What do you want to know about me, Flora?” He questioned, softly.
I also sit prop up myself and faced him.
“I can't remember anything from my past, Ryder,” I began, with hollow tears welling up in my eyes. “Whether I have a family or not, I can't remember anything, except from you!” I almost yelled with my hands on my head.
“How I'd met you is the only question baffling me, and you refused to give me a genuine response” He leaned closer and wiped my tears with his right thumb.
“Please stop crying,” He cooed as remorse crept on his face. “Will you answer me now?”  I choked on my words, he nodded slowly. “I'm so sorry for causing you so much pain, Flora,” He says. I creased my brows, confused.
“What pain?”
He looked away from my face.
“Your mum and my mum are intimate friends,” I gasped. “You know my mum?” I asked with widened eyes. He smiles.
“I fell in love with you since the day your Mum brought you to my house,” He continues.
Oh.
I remember that day, the look he was giving me that day made me want to puke. I've always detested him since then. So grumpy.
“But I really didn't know how to say it because I've never felt like that towards anyone before,” He paused and look at me.
“And the day I dread most in my life was the day I heard you're getting married to Xavier, my elder brother,” His jaw tightened, and I gulped slowly. “I confronted my parents, I let them know Xavier is in a relationship hoping that would convince them, but No.my Mum was so adamant on you getting married to Xavier”
He ruffled his hair and stood on his feet, backing me. “I'm quite opposite to Xavier, I disagree to whatever my parents says, I don't give a flying f*ck about anybody. So, I think that made me the bad guy, and Xavier was the good boy”
“I was strongly against the marriage and if they ask me why, I couldn't provide a genuine reason,” he sighed heavily and walked towards the dressing mirror. “You finally got married to my brother, and I felt shattered. It felt like I lost the most paramount person in my life,” I rose to my feet, staring at his back as he talks. “I hated my brother for having the chance with you, but I never make it obvious. I still visited your home just to see you, I didn't mind even if it's afar because I knew you don't like me” My heart dropped at his last words.  He knew?
“But I'd thought I lost you, until when an idea crept into my head,” He turned to me and smiled uneasily. “What idea?” I bit out.
“To kill my brother slowly” Huh?
“I don't get that,” I shook my head.
“I killed my brother because of you, Flora,” he confessed. I stiffened with shock. What?
He moved closer to me, but I cringed.
I shake my head sideways, No,
I just heard the wrong thing.
Ryder can't possibly kill Xavier, right?
“How…how… Did you do that?” I sputtered, my heart hammering against my chest.  Sweat is already formed on my forehead.
He stood in front of me and tucked my hair back. “Don't be afraid Flora, I've turned a new leaf since I got you” I nodded sharply, tears rolling down my cheeks.
He leaned back and tucked his hands in his pocket. “Xavier loves herbal a lot "He says, and I almost nodded because it's true.
“I made a research about a herbal tea across the country back then,” He continues.
“It's a poison which kills slowly, and no Doctor could detect it after the death of the person” My heart beats louder, and I'm sure even Ryder could hear it.
Yes,
Their family doctor couldn't fathom what killed Xavier. Oh my goodness.
“The herbal tea was my weapon, that was what killed Xavier, my late brother” I stared at him, muffling my tears. I shiver.
Though, I didn't love Xavier, but he doesn't deserve to die. Xavier was a good person and I don't regret getting married to him.
But I cursed the day I met this guy standing right in front of me.
“You killed him!” I shrieked.
“You killed your brother, Ryder, why?!” I cried, hitting his chest very hard.
“You're a monster, and you'll rot in jail,” I rattled out.  He grabbed my hands with a hand and traces his index finger on my jawline. “You worth it, darling” He chuckled softly.
I yanked my hands from his hold and made to walk past him, but he grabbed my arm and pulled my back to my previous position.
I gritted my teeth in anger.
My phone suddenly fell beneath my jean skirt and smashed against the floor. 
Damn!
I just lost evidence.
Ryder stared at the phone on the floor and darted his eyes back to me. “Why did you keep that there?” He asked in a low voice.
“Your secret is out Ryder and trust me, I'll accompany you to the jail entrance before I step back” I yelled to his face, he scoffed softly. “It's all in the past now baby, let's forget it and focus on our future” he says and made to hold my hand.
“You top the fools list in the whole world, Ryder,” I told him with rage running down my spine. He furrowed his brows as he watches me. “Oh… So, you really think I lost my memory?”  I snapped my fingers at his face.
“You're the dumbest thing, just watch me as I reveal your secret” I ran towards the door, but he was rapid, he grabbed a handful of my hair and threw me to the floor.
I twisted my ankle as I landed my butt on the floor. I yelped loudly; it hurts.
“Whoa” He laughs shortly and crouched in front of me.
“You just proved you're smart, right?” He smirks. I crawled backward as his disgusting eyes bore hole into my whole body.
“Then you should know by now your mother is the murderer of your father,” He winks at me. I could feel my heart thud, with my eyes protruded. “What?” I mumbled.
He shrugged and rose to his feet.
My Mum murdered my Dad?
But how?
Why?
So many questions running through my head.
Ryder pulled me up, making me stand on my feet. “Let me go, you jerk,” I yelled.
“And my Mum will never do such thing to my Dad, you bloody liar” I tiptoed and with all my might, I gave him a thunderous slap across his cheek.
He turned to me with reddened eyes, but I do not care now, He's a Jerk.
He yanked me to my feet and pinned me down with my hands. “Help!” I screamed.
“It's just you and I baby, no one is coming” He smirks and leans forward.
He pressed a white handkerchief to my nose.
No…
Somebody, tell me he's not planning to do what those kidnappers did to me… I thought, struggling to remove his hand from my nose; but he's so huge.
“You want it hard, Flora, and I'm giving it to you” I heard his last words and drifted to sleep.
