Violet POV
I settled in my car and brought my phone out of my clutch.
I dialed Zayn's number, 
it rings for some minutes, but he's not picking up. “Damn!”
I redialed it and he's still not picking.
What do I do?
Yes!
Reid.
I quickly checked through my contacts and found his ID.
Great
He should know where Zayn is.
I dialed his number and thank goodness he picks at the second ring.
“Hi Reid” 
“Hello who's this?” He asked and I almost roll my eyes.
He doesn't have my contact.
“This is Violet” I told him.
“Where's Zayn now?” I asked him impatiently.
“Zayn clearly warned you to stay away from him, isn't it?” 
“You don't need to remind me, just answer my question” I half yelled.
“And what if I don't?” 
“Zayn's life is in danger, you fool!” I shrieked into the phone and I heard him gasped.
“What do you mean?” He yelled.
“It's Ryder, he's planning to meddle with Zayn's car brake”
“Just tell me already” I begged.
“I'll forward his location to you after I hung up, I'm not in the city as at now, but I will get there soon” He says.
“Okay” I said and ended the call.
I dropped my phone on my thighs.
Reid's last words rang in my head and I shivered with fear.
“Oh Lord… Please protect Zayn” I shut my eyes and pray silently.
My phone beeps and I quickly picked it from my legs. Good, It's the location.
I ignited my car engine and speed into the road.
I arrived at the location after some minutes drive.j
I stepped out of my car, averting my eyes around the whole place-It's a bar.
But what could Zayn be doing here? I thought. I exhaled loudly before walking away.
Furthermore, I got to the main entrance, few guys are standing closely to the door.
“Excuse me” I say, and I expect them to pave a way for me, but instead their eyes are boring hole into my body. What the?
“Hey hottie” One of them said, grinning like someone who just won a prize.
“You need a company?” He winks.
I rolled my eyes. “No… Thanks” 
I found my way into the bar and I let my eyes scan the entire place searching for Zayn.
I glance at everyone's faces in the bar but none looks like Zayn.
My shoulder drops.
“Where are you Zayn?” I muttered.
I sight a figure from a far- the side view really looks like Zayn's.
I hurried towards the person, and it's truly Zayn.
I sighed with relief.
My mouth went agape at the bottles of liquor on his table.
Why is he doing this?
He doesn't notice my presence yet, I followed his gaze, and it landed on the cup on his table.
I look around him, and they are just few people around.
“Zayn” I called in a low voice.
He raised his head to look at me and slowly took his eyes back to the table.
“What are you doing here?” He asked throatily.
I breathe out.
How do I explain it?
He looked at me again and the expression on his face is what I can't explain, but he looks pained.
I gulped, not knowing what to say.
He dragged the metal chair backward sluggishly causing it to make an annoying noise.
He stood up swiftly but staggered on his feet.
Oh, my…
I quickly held him by the arm, but he yanked my hand.
“Just leave me alone” He grunts.
“You're drunk Zayn” I told him pitifully.
He gawped at me and slowly walk past me- with unsteady feet. I shook my head and follow behind him.
“You're not driving your car Zayn, I can't allow you to” I told him for the second time, standing by the driver's door.
He shut his eyes briefly and opened them again. “Get out of my way Violet” He says quietly. “No… I don't want to”
“Let's ride my car…please” I plead tearfully.
“And why would I do that?!” He yells 
“My car is f**king right here so why?!”
“Hm mm… You're not stable to drive now” I remind him.
He shook his head sideways and grabbed my right arm, meaning he's going to throw me away soon.
“Let me ride you then” I quickly told him without thinking.
He stares at me for a while and I just plea with my face.
I know I shouldn't be doing this, I mean why am I sacrificing this much for someone who doesn't give a damn about me, but I can't just stand to watch him die right?
“Fine” He threw the car immobilizer up, and I quickly caught it.
And without sparing me a look, he staggered around the car and opened the passenger side door.
Hot tears threatened to fall but I sniffed it.
I look around me, hoping Ryder accomplices are not here yet.
Zayn poke his head out.
“Are you coming in or not?”  He roared.
I'm sure they are not here.
How would they have access to his car without the immobilizer?
I reluctantly open the car and hop in.
I glance at Zayn, and he's staring out the window.
Furthermore, I quickly leaned down to check the brake.
Thank goodness, it's still intact. I smile joyously and ignited the engine.
After few minutes drive, 
I'm starting to get tired of the boring atmosphere, so I decided to play a song.
I pressed the play button on the radio.
I smile to the song buzzing from the speaker- it's one of my favorite song “Already by Beyonce”
“Turn it off” I heard Zayn's cold voice.
“But Zayn I'm bored” I told him as a matter of fact. “Then get the fu*k out of my car” He snorts. I folded my lips as I glance at him.
“But why are you like this?” My voice breaks.
“I'm trying my best to be nice towards you but.” “I didn't ask you to” He cut in rudely.
Whoa.
I increased the speed accuracy, fuming.
He just hurt my feelings.
Does he have to paint it to my face?
“Do you want to die?” He said angrily.
I ignore him. “Violet!”  He shouts.
“What's it?” I yelled.
“Let me out of the car before you drive yourself to death” He said in a high pitch.
I laughed out loud.
“We're dying together Zayn” I sneered.
“You think this is some sort of joke?” 
I just speed like a maniac, ignoring Zayn completely. I've been trying to make use of the brake already, and it's not working; it's clearly occurred to me that Ryder guys had tampered with the brake.
A truck approaches us.
I became frightened, stepping on the non-existent brake. This is it.
“Violet!!” Zayn screams but is too late.
We collided with the truck and within a blink of an eye, everything becomes pitch darkness.
