Flora POV
“You still have some queries to answer Stella” Dad says from the back seat.
“But I would like us to return from this trip first” He added, and I glance at them from the front mirror.
Mum's face has turned sober already.
Uh mm
We're going to resolve everything later but now, I'm feeling ecstatically happy.
I really can't wait to see my good bad guy again. I chuckled softly.

But I don't understand why I'm feeling a bit anxious, perhaps it's because it's been months I saw him.
“You really like him, don't you?” I heard Dad's voice. I smile and turned to him from my seat beside the driver- David's is the one driving, though.
I knew he's referring to Zayn.
“Yes Dad” I answered truthfully.
He smiled wryly.
“But why don't you like him?” I questioned curiously. He laughs and leans his back on the seat.
I sighed and sat properly on my seat.
I wonder what could be the cause of their hatred for each other… I thought, looking out from the window.
“What's going on here?” David says.
I glance at him before taking my eyes to the road and there I saw people gathered around a big truck which hit a car.
“Slow down, Let's see” I told him, not removing my eyes from the scene.
“And why should we do that Sofina?” Dad asks.
Yeah, I was told my real name is Sofina and Mum is still not telling me why she had to change it to Flora. 
Dad seems less bothered about it and that tells me they're both hiding something from me.
The car is not moving again, and I'm glad.
I don't know, but it feels like I have a string connection with someone here.
I watch as an ambulance drove into the scene, the nurses rushed out from the bus and the people move backward.
I saw a guy and a lady lying on the bare floor, obviously unconscious.
Uh mm
They ran into the truck I presume.
“Let's move” Dad says.
“Hold on” I quickly say and opened the car door.
“What are you doing Flora?” Mum scolded.
“We need to save them Mum, as you can see, these people aren't doing anything” I told them in a convinced way.
And without waiting for any further talks, I ran out of the car.
I arrived at the scene, trying not to look at the victim's bodies.
“What happened here?” I asked a young man standing close to me.
He just shrugged.
Yeah… I just asked a silly question.
I shook my head and approached a nurse.
“Why aren't you carrying their bodies?” I asked her, sounding strict as ever.
“We'll do that ma'am” 
“But do you know any of them?” She asked.
I shook my head and slowly take my eyes to where their body is lying.
Stains of blood are over the guy's head and he…

I walked up to his body and I could feel my world shattered immediately.
“Zayn!!!!” I screamed and crouched beside his lifeless body.
“Who did this to you, Zayn?”
“Open your eyes, it's me Flora open your eyes” 
“I'm right here Zayn… Please open your eyes” I tapped his cheeks continuously, but he's not moving.
“Zayn!” I placed my head on his chest, crying profusely.
“Don't do this to me, Zayn” I begged.
“You need to move away ma'am” A nurse said, and I watch as other nurses carry Zayn on the emergency bed and headed to the ambulance.
I ran behind them, but someone blocked my way.
I look up- it's David.
“You need to calm down Flora, he's under control now” He says, and the tears rushed out from my eyes on their own.
“That's Zayn.my Zayn” I pointed a finger towards the ambulance as I cry.
“It's okay Flora, we're going after the ambulance too” I heard mum's voice behind me.
I pushed David's by the chest and run to the nurses standing by the ambulance.
“Flora” Mum and Dad called.
I made to enter the bus but one of them held me by my arm.
“You can't come with us” She stated.
I sniffed my running nose before turning to her with a hard look.
I freed my hand from her hold.
“If you hold me once again, you will hate yourself” I threatened and crawled into the ambulance.
I kneel beside Zayn's bed and place his hand in mine, staring at his closed eyes.
He has Oxygen on his nose.
What could have gone wrong?

“Zayn” I muttered.
Hold on… Why are we still waiting?
“Move this ambulance please” I half yelled.
But no one is responding.
“Driver!” I shout.
The two nurses brought in the second victim, I watch them as they shifted her bed beside Zayn's and my eyes dilated at once.
It's… It's Violet.

What was she doing with Zayn?
I'm sure she's behind this.
They shut the door and the ambulance starts moving with its siren wailing.
The nurses rushed to Violet's, one was fixing the Oxygen to her nose and the other was helping with the tools.
“You two can't possibly be with her right?” 
“So come check him too” I ordered.
They both exchange a look before turning to me.
“We attended to him already” One of them said.
“He'll be fine right?” I asked and they both gave a short nod.
I shifted my eyes back to Zayn.
Nonstop tears are rolling down my cheeks.
I moved back his wet blood hair from his forehead.
“I'm so sorry Zayn”
“I was supposed to be by your side” I sobbed.
“Zayn” I heard a weak voice.
I listened again.
“Zayn” the voice came again.
I look up and realized the voice belongs to Violet.
What exactly is her problem?
She's at the verge of death, yet she still has the mouth to call Zayn's name.

 Ryder POV 
“I'm sure he's dead by now boss” Robert announced, and I smile triumphantly.
“But there was a lady with him” He added, and my brows creases confused.
“A lady?” 
“Yes boss” 
Then that will be Violet for sure- serves her right, though.
“Good job” 
“I'll forward the balance to you tomorrow” I told him and hung up at once.
“What's up Ryder” Sage greeted as he walks into the living room.
“Hey bro” I replied cheerfully.
“I've been expecting you since yesterday, hope no prob?” I asked him.
He sighed and sit close to me on the sofa.
“Ryder” he called.
I raised a brow at him.
“Is anything the problem?” I asked him again.
“Why aren't you coming home?” He asked and I breathe out with relief.
I scratched my forehead with my middle finger as I sip at my wine.
“I'll come home soon” I told him.
“Don't tell me that Ryder, you've been repeating the same thing since last few weeks” He scolded.
“Your parents are worried sick about you and your Mum told me you're not picking her calls” 
“Maybe I should just let them know your whereabouts then” He said nonchalantly.
“You won't do that Sage” I shake my head.
“Then tell me something I need to know” He fumes.
“I'm tired of this cover up”
I exhale softly.
“I've found Flora” I announced and his eyes widened.
“What?”
“I mean… Where? And how?” 
“It's a long story Sage”
“It's good news, you should bring Flora home already. Your Mum will be happy, isn't it? Where's she?” He rushed his words.
“Calm Sage, I really can't tell you everything in details”
“But there was actually a factor hindering my way with Flora” I told him, but he just furrowed his eyebrows.
I smile at his confusion look.
He can't understand.
Sage is my close friend truly, and I like him. 
But he can never keep up with my behavior and that's the reason I hide many things from him.
“Don't think too much” I place a hand on his thigh.
“The factor has been cleared so Flora and I are coming home soon” I squealed happily like a kid.
Yeah.
