Zayn POV
I gradually stroll into her room, my eyes darting everywhere, searching for her.
Then reality whipped me like body blows, 
Today marks exactly a month she left this house. I stood planted, staring at the phone pack on her bed as memories came flooding in my head.
“Uhm… I have a surprise for you though” 
“What's the surprise?” 
“You want to know?” 
“Yeah”
“Then kiss me baby”.
I shut my eyes briefly, allowing the hot tears to roll down my cheeks on their own, while running a hand through my hair. “I miss you so much, Flora” I mumbled under my breath. “Why does it seem so hard to get you? Why?”
“Zayn” I heard a voice, it's not Reid's.
Then who?
I turned around swiftly to look. What?
“What are you doing here?” My voice breaks.
I cussed Ryder for taking away my happiness, the last time I was this vulnerable was when I lost Iris.
She hurried her steps towards me with a sympathetic look on her face.
Jeez! I don't need it.
“Why are you being like this, Zayn?” She pressed a hand to my chest, but I only look elsewhere. “You're hurting yourself all because of a lady?” “Zayn, when did you become like this? Almighty Zayn doesn't give a damn about ladies, so what's so extraordinary about her?” 
I tilted my head back to her figure, tears are welled up in her eyes already.
I gently discarded her hand from my chest.
“I don't know what she has given me, Violet” I began in my lowest voice, fighting back my pending tears. “But all I know is that, my happiness lies in Flora, she's the only person I acknowledge as a lady” Violet watches me, tears streaming down her eyes. “A girl has never made me so powerless as I am right now,” I paused, then moved away from where I was standing. “Never in my life have I ever imagined myself been vulnerable like this, I thought I was so powerful, I believed no one could come close to my happiness let alone taking it away” I could feel bile rising in my throat, so I ceased talking, fighting the great urge to cry at that moment. Violet left where she was and came to stand right in front of me, we both held each other gaze for a minute before I spoke up, “You should let whatever the thing you feel for me go because even if I lost Flora, you still can't have me Violet” I told her bluntly, and she erupted in another tears.
Yeah,
Truth hurts.
I made to walk past her,, but she held me back by my hand. She's not going to listen?
“I'm so sorry Zayn” She begins, wiping her tears away with the back of her palm. “I felt my soul left my body as soon as you said you can never love me” She proceeds, I merely watch her as she whimpers quietly.
“Guilty wouldn't stop ripping my heart immediately I saw how down you are, and which I am aware of the reason” She waited, looking straight into my eyes.
“What do you mean?” I murmured.
She smiled ruefully and let go of my hand.
“I know where Ryder is hiding with Flora, Zayn” She broke the news and I could feel my heart bounce. What?  I blinked my eyelids rapidly, “Are you certain?" I questioned, then she nodded happily. “Come on, let's go”
 Ryder POV;
The following day….
“Flora” I called, softly.
“Are you in the bathroom?” I put in, but I didn't hear any response from anywhere.
So, it's true.
David really took Flora away from me last night. I'd returned home last night, I wanted to believe it was all a dream, but it's not, Flora is not in here. Had I known, I wouldn't have intended to flee with her.
I saw my eyes in the dressing mirror, and they are already reddened as f**k.
Jeez!
“You're gonna regret this, David, I promise you” I gritted my teeth in rage and stormed out of Flora's room.
My phone shrills inside my trouser short, I removed it from my pocket and the caller ID made guilty crept into my chest.
It's Violet, and I knew I've wronged her for not believing her the last time she came here.
I stared at my phone screen till it stops ringing; No, I'm not picking it.
I sighed heavily and continue my walk into the living room, my phone rings again.
I rolled my eyes and brought it out.
It's Violet again.
Uhm… Maybe it's vital.
I slide the answer icon and pressed it to my ear. “Come open your gate As swiftly as you can” She says through the phone, and before I could say something, I heard the phone disconnected.
I stepped out of the house and strode towards the main gate, my eyes are still aching badly.
I opened the gate.
And I didn't see it coming, a sport car zoomed into the compound, almost smashing my legs.
What's that?
Hold on… It's not Violet's car.
I watch as the driver parked the car in a very rude manner. Okay… I had enough.
I marched furiously towards the car.
This isn't making sense.
Suddenly, someone opened the driver's side door, and I tremble on my feet immediately.
F**k!
Another person came down from the passenger's side, It's Reid.
I'm sure it's Violet's doing.
And speaking of the devil, she alighted from the back seat.
Zayn counted his steps towards me and I counted mine backward with feeble feet, shivering beneath.
“Where's she, Ryder?” He asked in a very calm voice.
I swallowed very hard, looking elsewhere.
Swears.
I've made a huge mistake in my life.
How do I say it?
Flora was here, she deceived me; I got mad at her and decided to flee with her, only for David to caught me in the act and took her away. What a ridiculous excuse!
