Loud music, neon lights, laughter, drunk people, dancing, swimming, everything was just like what she expected. An unusual smile was plastered on her face, she was not into this kind of atmosphere for it gives her an uncomfortable feeling. The fact that someone invited her, perhaps she will like it, thereby probably she could learn how to enjoy herself at the party.
Her smile makes the other people around uncomfortable. As soon as she stepped in, gossips and whispers were all over the area. Hawthorne expects them. For years, she was known to be the campus' hot topic.
Sera Merka purposely invited Hawthorne to her pool party in a view of a fact that she plans to let her mates toy with her. That will put Astrid Hawthorne into shame. Eyes were following her actions, she caught everyone's attention seeing that her dark-red two-piece bikini suits her pale and flawless skin along with her nice well-curved body, her long raven-liked hair was down her waist and its highlights were adding beauty to it and it was dancing with the cold night's wind.
Sera's friends were on the side of the pool as they peered with envy at the woman they had bullied. "That bitch is getting a lot of attention from everyone, why would Sera invite her anyway?" One of them commented while sipping her drink.
"Don't be too envious, Blythe. She's our target for tonight, chill the heck out because this is going to be fun."
They continued drinking and had a thought of not minding Hawthorne; they were so envious of her beauty and of how people focused their attention on her. Meanwhile, Sera was inside her house and was currently having a conversation with Valliree Morgan, she was getting more drinks for her visitors and the feeling of excitement throughout her entire body felt tingling. She hasn't seen Astrid Hawthorne yet therefore her mood was calmer than ever. Her parents were not around and they didn't know about their daughter throwing a party either. They went out of town for some reason and they would eventually be back tomorrow night.
"Wait, can you get this out for a moment? I just need to call someone," she called some random guy who just passed on the way. The lad stared for a moment at those drinks that Sera was referring to. He nodded his head and shrugged, Sera Merka didn't say anything and Valliree felt embarrassed for this reason. "Thanks for that," Valliree Morgan uttered, as she was referring to the stranger.
Meanwhile, Antoinette McLaren arrived and went into the living room, she was holding her phone, supposedly calling someone, she had a friend, she previously met the guy in the Cafe, she likes this friend of hers and she wants him to be hers. She meant to attend the party as well, Antoinette wanted to grab the chance of owning him for the whole night.
"Girl, you better get out and display that figure, huh?" Sera greeted her and she replied with a smile.
"I gotta call someone, wait for me."
"Okay, sure. I'll go ahead, Blythe's been looking for me."
The moment the two girls got out of the area, she was thrilled upon seeing that he was answering her call.
"Yeah?"
Her heart pounds so fast when she hears his voice on the other line, she breathes deeply and tries to compose herself before answering, she likes the guy and she's willing to do everything just to get him.
"Uh, hi Oliver! I just wanna invite you to a party here at my friend's house? If it's okay with you? Well, It'll be much better if you'll come over, you're one of my friends and I like to have some moments with you." Her words almost stuttered, she couldn't behave as butterflies could be felt inside her stomach as a result of nervousness.
"Hmm, sounds great."
Her eyes widened because of surprise upon what she heard, it appears that she was being chased as her heart raced so fast.
"What? No way, you're serious right?"
"Yea, I don't have any plans for tonight so perhaps hanging out with you would be nice."
"I'll text you the location and make sure to get here as soon as possible! I'll be waiting for you!"
"Uh, yeah sure. Thanks for inviting me by the way," the guy, Oliver Tycho replied.
As the call ended, her screams of excitement filled the roof. She could not get over it, she hurriedly went outside while running, going to inform her friends that the guy she likes would be joining them. Her pink two-piece bikini fit her nicely curved body, her hair was fixed as a messy bun and she looks completely appealing with those sexy outfits.
She was cut off guard when she saw Astrid Hawthorne, sitting comfortably on the edge of the pool while drinking some bottle of Smirnoff, her blood boiling to its highest point when she saw how hot her rival was on her swimwear.
"Hey, Antoinette. Uh, we were so p-" she glared at her friend when it walked towards her direction, she's starting to get annoyed by how Hawthorne caught everyone's attention.
"Why did you invite that freak? She should've worked in the bookstore and read some story." Antoinette sarcastically retorted.
"Oh my, I felt you. I think I regretted the fact I invited her. But she's our game tonight," Sera commented, as she was gritting her teeth in madness, she clenched her fist and walked to their area where the other girls were seated.
"So, what's your plan, Sera?"
"Yeah, what now? She's so annoying, her presence makes me so uneasy. Why did you even invite her in the first place? I think she's not a good game at all."
"Damn, she'd surely caught Oliver's attention the moment he arrived!" Antoinette Mclaren complained.
"Damn this party, this ain't fun at all. I should've visited Mace and had a bible study with her." Valliree on the other hand mumbled and rolled her eyes because of the thought, she regretted it.
"Watch her for a moment, follow her and never remove your glimpse of her! I'll put her to shame." Upon hearing her words, her friends smirked, liking the idea. They nodded their heads and leaned their back to the seat.
They knew that they'll be enjoying this night, Hawthorne was observing her surroundings, she's about to like the whole place and even if she's feeling the discomfort of what she's wearing presently, she still likes the party. Everyone was minding their own business, some were dancing and drinking. She takes a drink of her Smirnoff and watches the guys swimming back and forth in her direction, probably trying to catch her attention. They shouldn't have done it, considering that they would eventually be regretting it.
Her sight was fixed to the guy who kept on glancing at her, it had a well-built body, tanned skin which made him more attractive, and messy hair as if he just got out of bed. He was wearing blue-bleached shorts with a beer on his grip. Hawthorne can sense that the guy likes her, which is odd since almost everyone from the school campus doesn't like her presence. But perhaps he just likes to take her to bed?
She finished her drink and swam. She looked hot when she's soaked. The guy was stiff upon seeing her swimming in his direction. A seductive smile was plastered on her face, she bit her lower lip when she reached the other side of the pool. She was staring at him, luring him, trying to seduce him with her charming smiles. The guy groaned when Astrid went out of the pool and sat beside him at the edge.
"Hey," he greeted and took out his hand in front of her to shake hands.
She smiled once more and giggled, "Do you wanna swim with me?" she asked with a tempting voice, he groaned again and nodded his head.
"Sure, babe."
She went into the pool again and pulled his arms making him fall over the water, she was grinning from ear to ear as he enjoyed her company. "So, how's life doing?" she asked, trying to open up some topic for her to get him.
"Nothing much, I'm somewhat busy with my studies. How about you? I never knew that you'd be so hot like this, I seldom see you on campus." He replied with a shrug.
"Yeah right, I don't know what's with that girl over there and she decided to invite me over with this party. I don't know her," Hawthorne answered back, looking at Sera Merka who was now laughing with her friends.
They let out a chuckle. "Sera is a nice girl though, she likes to make friends, maybe that's the reason why she made this party possible."
She slowly nodded her head and smiled at him, meanwhile as they enjoyed each other's company, she swam closer to him, reaching out to his shoulder as she leisurely wrapped her arms around his neck. That made the guy stiff and hang his head low, it's making him uncomfortable and shy.
"Hmm, you know what? You're hot," Hawthorne whispered when she leaned her face closer to him, she could smell his addicting perfume, she sniffed his neck and smiled widely, which made the guy blush because of shyness. He was stunned because of how she takes up the first move.
"Uh, I think you should back off, I'm not feeling comfy-" his words were cut off as his eyes widened out of surprise when Astrid Hawthorne kissed him torridly, he couldn't move because of her sudden actions. He was so stiff to the point that he couldn't even kiss back.
She chuckled between their kisses and leaned her body closer to him, he could feel his body heating, it seems like the water became warm all of a sudden. His body felt weak and he was urged to kiss her back.
The surprise was plastered on her face when he replied with a kiss. His hands traveled down her waist and wrapped his arms on her. Pulling her closer to him, because they made a scene, everyone's attention was on them. Sera on the other hand hastily took out her phone and filmed the whole thing, the total view made her happy as a consequence of putting Hawthorne into trouble. She knew that the school would suspend the lady.
Astrid Hawthorne pulled back the kiss and lip bite, he was feeling hot, the pleasure was about to scoop his system. "That was superb," he said while looking at her with amusement in his eyes. He couldn't believe that she would take the first move.
"Hmm, you liked it? Wanna make out with me?" she seductively asked with a low tone of voice, more like a whisper. He wanted to say yes but his mouth couldn't utter any words, he found himself out from the water and was now walking with her, heading somewhere.
They didn't bother to glance back at the audience, whispers and rumors were everywhere, they led their way to the garden and near them is a wide glass window that serves as a way towards the backyard.
He was about to enjoy the sensual feeling when her complexion changed, memories were flashing back in her mind as fear began to be felt in her whole system, she was so stiff and she couldn't even feel the pleasure she was sensing earlier. Her knees were trembling, as her heart pounds so fast, she doesn't know what she is feeling right at the moment. In the blink of an eye, she forcefully pushes back the guy away from her, making the guy staring at her in confusion. "Uh, why? Is there a problem?" The lad questioned.
A grin was formed on her lips, she looked at him seductively and spoke. "Let's search for a room, It'll be more comfortable."
That made the guy smile and his cheeks turned red, feeling shy for a bit. "Oh, well okay... There are some rooms upstairs, we can use one-" he didn't finish his words when she gently pulled his arms, heading towards the entrance of the house.
Sera and her friends on the other hand are now starting to feel the excitement, they know that there will be a viral video by tomorrow.
"Follow them, filmed everything. Good luck girls!"
Like what they are instructed to do, the two girls—Blythe and Ella lead their way inside the house. They searched for the traces of Hawthorne's. Good thing, they heard a loud sound of moans upstairs, they gradually made their way up and barely searched for the room where the voices came from. The hallway is wide enough, lampshades were on the wall as it lit the way.
There are many rooms, four on the right side and three on the left. The two girls eavesdropped and their eyes widened in horror when they heard a scream. It appears that their hearts were about to explode as a result of anxiety, it was pounding hard and they could barely gasp for air. They gulped, trying to overcome their fear. They slowly walk near the third room located on their left side and ready their phone for the video, voices, and noises could be heard from the inside, they eavesdrop a thud as if something got broken, they heard a noise as if something is being struck by a hammer.
"What on earth was that," they whispered and their eyes were widened out of horror. Because of fear, they couldn't take a grip of the doorknob, they don't want to know what's behind the door.
"I think we should go back? I'm nervous, Blythe. We don't know what's going on inside."
The scream was no more to be heard, only the unusual sound of a thud. "No, Sera will kill us! Let's do this, all we have to do is to film everything." After saying those words, without any second thought, she swung the door open, revealing a dark and direful room.
The noise stopped, and the two of them were just staring at the darkness with fear and nervousness. They hardly gulped their saliva as if there were big lumps on their throats, sweats were on their foreheads and they barely breathe because of total nervousness. They knew that there's someone inside the room together with them, they could feel her presence, they could hear her breathing.
"Switch on the light!"
Without any seconds, they saw how the curtains opened from the windows and a lady jumped out on it, their eyes widened even more and ran hastily closer to the window. But they were stunned when they stepped on liquid which was scattered on the floor. Nervousness attacked them and they started to panic even more.
"Turn on the light switch now!" Blythe exclaimed with teary eyes, she hurriedly got out of her location and as the light was opened, their feet rushed out of the room as a loud squeal filled the entire room.
